اشعیا 55

۱ 1 «ای جمیع تشنگان نزد آبها بیایید وهمه شما که نقره ندارید بیایید بخرید وبخورید. بیایید و شراب و شیر را بی‌نقره وبی قیمت بخرید.

Alle that thirsten, come ye to watris, and ye han not siluer, haaste, bie ye, and ete ye; come ye, bie ye, with out siluer and with outen ony chaungyng, wyn and mylk.

۲ 2 چرا نقره را برای آنچه نان نیست و مشقت خویش را برای آنچه سیرنمی کند صرف می‌کنید. گوش داده، از من بشنویدو چیزهای نیکو را بخورید تا جان شما از فربهی متلذذ شود.

Whi peisen ye siluer, and not in looues, and youre trauel, not in fulnesse? Ye herynge here me, and ete ye good, and youre soule schal delite in fatnesse.

۳ 3 گوش خود را فرا داشته، نزد من بیایید و تا جان شما زنده گردد بشنوید و من باشما عهد جاودانی یعنی رحمت های امین داود راخواهم بست.

Bowe ye youre eere, and `come ye to me; here ye, and youre soule schal lyue; and Y schal smyte with you a couenaunt euerlastynge, the feithful mercies of Dauid.

۴ 4 اینک من او را برای طوایف شاهدگردانیدم. رئیس و حاکم طوایف.

Lo! Y yaf hym a witnesse to puplis, a duyk and a comaundour to folkis.

۵ 5 هان امتی را که نشناخته بودی دعوت خواهی نمود. و امتی که تورا نشناخته بودند نزد تو خواهند دوید. به‌خاطریهوه که خدای تو است و قدوس اسرائیل که تو راتمجید نموده است.»

Lo! thou schalt clepe folkis, whiche thou knewist not; and folkis, that knewen not thee, schulen renne to thee; for thi Lord God, and the hooli of Israel, for he glorifiede thee.

۶ 6 خداوند را مادامی که یافت می‌شود بطلبید ومادامی که نزدیک است او را بخوانید.

Seke ye the Lord, while he mai be foundun; clepe ye hym to help, while he is niy.

۷ 7 شریر راه خود را و گناه کار افکار خویش را ترک نماید وبسوی خداوند بازگشت کند و بر وی رحمت خواهد نمود و بسوی خدای ما که مغفرت عظیم خواهد کرد.

An vnfeithful man forsake his weie, and a wickid man forsake hise thouytis; and turne he ayen to the Lord, and he schal haue merci on hym, and to oure God, for he is myche to foryyue.

۸ 8 زیرا خداوند می‌گوید که افکار من افکار شما نیست و طریق های شما طریق های من نی.

For why my thouytis ben not youre thouytis, and my weies ben not youre weies, seith the Lord.

۹ 9 زیرا چنانکه آسمان از زمین بلندتر است همچنان طریق های من از طریق های شما و افکارمن از افکار شما بلندتر می‌باشد.

For as heuenys ben reisid fro erthe, so my weies ben reisid fro youre weies, and my thouytis fro youre thouytis.

۱۰ 10 و چنانکه باران و برف از آسمان می‌بارد و به آنجابرنمی گردد بلکه زمین را سیراب کرده، آن را بارورو برومند می‌سازد و برزگر را تخم و خورنده رانان می‌بخشد،

And as reyn and snow cometh doun fro heuene, and turneth no more ayen thidur, but it fillith the erthe, and bischedith it, and makith it to buriowne, and yyueth seed to hym that sowith, and breed to hym that etith,

۱۱ 11 همچنان کلام من که از دهانم صادر گردد خواهد بود. نزد من بی‌ثمر نخواهدبرگشت بلکه آنچه را که خواستم بجا خواهدآورد و برای آنچه آن را فرستادم کامران خواهدگردید.

so schal be my word, that schal go out of my mouth. It schal not turne ayen voide to me, but it schal do what euer thingis Y wolde, and it schal haue prosperite in these thingis to whiche Y sente it.

۱۲ 12 زیرا که شما با شادمانی بیرون خواهیدرفت و با سلامتی هدایت خواهید شد. کوهها وتلها در حضور شما به شادی ترنم خواهند نمود وجمیع درختان صحرا دستک خواهند زد.

For ye schulen go out in gladnesse, and ye schulen be led forth in pees; mounteyns and litil hillis schulen synge heriynge bifore you, and alle the trees of the cuntrei schulen make ioie with hond.

۱۳ 13 به‌جای درخت خار صنوبر و به‌جای خس آس خواهد رویید و برای خداوند اسم و آیت جاودانی که منقطع نشود خواهد بود.

A fir tre schal grow for a firse, and a mirte tre schal wexe for a nettil; and the Lord schal be nemyd in to a signe euerlastynge, that schal not be doon awei.
