اشعیا 54

۱ 1 ای عاقره‌ای که نزاییده‌ای بسرا! ای که درد زه نکشیده‌ای به آواز بلند ترنم نماو فریاد برآور! زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: پسران زن بیکس از پسران زن منکوحه زیاده‌اند.

Sing, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [that] didst not travail with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

۲ 2 مکان خیمه خود را وسیع گردان و پرده های مسکن های تو پهن بشود دریغ مدار و طنابهای خود را درازکرده، میخهایت را محکم بساز.

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

۳ 3 زیرا که بطرف راست و چپ منتشر خواهی شد و ذریت توامت‌ها را تصرف خواهند نمود و شهرهای ویران را مسکون خواهند ساخت.

For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

۴ 4 مترس زیرا که خجل نخواهی شد و مشوش مشو زیرا که رسوانخواهی گردید. چونکه خجالت جوانی خویش را فراموش خواهی کرد و عار بیوگی خود را دیگربه یاد نخواهی آورد.

Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

۵ 5 زیرا که آفریننده تو که اسمش یهوه صبایوت است شوهر تو است. وقدوس اسرائیل که به خدای تمام جهان مسمی است ولی تو می‌باشد.

For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

۶ 6 زیرا خداوند تو را مثل زن مهجور و رنجیده دل خوانده است و مانندزوجه جوانی که ترک شده باشد. خدای تو این رامی گوید.

For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

۷ 7 زیرا تو را به اندک لحظه‌ای ترک کردم اما به رحمت های عظیم تو را جمع خواهم نمود.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

۸ 8 و خداوند ولی تو می‌گوید: «بجوشش غضبی خود را از تو برای لحظه‌ای پوشانیدم اما به احسان جاودانی برتو رحمت خواهم فرمود.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

۹ 9 زیرا که این برای من مثل آبهای نوح می‌باشد. چنانکه قسم خوردم که آبهای نوح بار دیگر بر زمین جاری نخواهد شد همچنان قسم خوردم که بر توغضب نکنم و تو را عتاب ننمایم.

For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

۱۰ 10 هرآینه کوهها زایل خواهد شد و تلها متحرک خواهدگردید، لیکن احسان من از تو زایل نخواهد شد وعهد سلامتی من متحرک نخواهد گردید.» خداوند که بر تو رحمت می‌کند این را می‌گوید.

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

۱۱ 11 «ای رنجانیده و مضطرب شده که تسلی نیافته‌ای اینک من سنگهای تو را در سنگ سرمه نصب خواهم کرد و بنیاد تو را در یاقوت زردخواهم نهاد.

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

۱۲ 12 و مناره های تو را از لعل ودروازه هایت را از سنگهای بهرمان و تمامی حدود تو را از سنگهای گران قیمت خواهم ساخت.

And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

۱۳ 13 و جمیع پسرانت از خداوند تعلیم خواهند یافت و پسرانت را سلامتی عظیم خواهدبود.

And all thy children [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of thy children.

۱۴ 14 در عدالت ثابت شده و از ظلم دور مانده، نخواهی ترسید و هم از آشفتگی دور خواهی ماند و به تو نزدیکی نخواهد نمود.

In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

۱۵ 15 همانا جمع خواهند شد اما نه به اذن من. آنانی که به ضد توجمع شوند به‌سبب تو خواهند افتاد.

Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

۱۶ 16 اینک من آهنگری را که زغال را به آتش دمیده، آلتی برای کار خود بیرون می‌آورد، آفریدم. و من نیز هلاک کننده را برای خراب نمودن آفریدم.

Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

۱۷ 17 هر آلتی که به ضد تو ساخته شود پیش نخواهد برد و هرزبانی را که برای محاکمه به ضد تو برخیزدتکذیب خواهی نمود. این است نصیب بندگان خداوند و عدالت ایشان از جانب من.» خداوندمی گوید.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.
