اشعیا 52

۱ 1 بیدار شو‌ای صهیون! بیدار شو و قوت خود را بپوش‌ای شهر مقدس اورشلیم! لباس زیبایی خویش را در بر کن زیرا که نامختون و ناپاک بار دیگر داخل تو نخواهد شد.

AWAKE, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

۲ 2 ‌ای اورشلیم خود را از گرد بیفشان و برخاسته، بنشین! و‌ای دختر صهیون که اسیر شده‌ای بندهای گردن خود را بگشا!

Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

۳ 3 زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: مفت فروخته کشتید و بی‌نقره فدیه داده خواهیدشد.

For thus saith the Lord, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

۴ 4 چونکه خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: که درایام سابق قوم من به مصر فرود شدند تا در آنجاساکن شوند و بعد از آن آشور بر ایشان بی‌سبب ظلم نمودند.

For thus saith the Lord God, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

۵ 5 اما الان خداوند می‌گوید: در اینجامرا چه‌کار است که قوم من مجان گرفتار شده‌اند. و خداوند می‌گوید: آنانی که بر ایشان تسلط دارندصیحه می‌زنند و نام من دائم هر روز اهانت می‌شود.

Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

۶ 6 بنابراین قوم من اسم مرا خواهندشناخت. و در آن روز خواهند فهمید که تکلم کننده من هستم، هان من هستم.

Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

۷ 7 چه زیبا است بر کوهها پایهای مبشر که سلامتی را ندا می‌کند و به خیرات بشارت می‌دهدو نجات را ندا می‌کند و به صهیون می‌گوید که خدای تو سلطنت می‌نماید.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

۸ 8 آواز دیده بانان تواست که آواز خود را بلند کرده، با هم ترنم می‌نمایند زیرا وقتی که خداوند به صهیون رجعت می‌کند ایشان معاینه خواهند دید.

Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.

۹ 9 ‌ای خرابه های اورشلیم به آواز بلند با هم ترنم نمایید، زیرا خداوند قوم خود را تسلی داده، و اورشلیم را فدیه نموده است.

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

۱۰ 10 خداوند ساعد قدوس خود را در نظر تمامی امت‌ها بالا زده است وجمیع کرانه های زمین نجات خدای ما را دیده‌اند.

The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

۱۱ 11 ‌ای شما که ظروف خداوند را برمی داریدبیکسو شوید بیکسو شوید و از اینجا بیرون رویدو چیز ناپاک را لمس منمایید و از میان آن بیرون رفته، خویشتن را طاهر سازید.

Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

۱۲ 12 زیرا که به تعجیل بیرون نخواهید رفت و گریزان روانه نخواهید شد، چونکه یهوه پیش روی شماخواهد خرامید و خدای اسرائیل ساقه شماخواهد بود.

For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

۱۳ 13 اینک بنده من با عقل رفتار خواهد کرد وعالی و رفیع و بسیار بلند خواهد شد.

Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

۱۴ 14 چنانکه بسیاری از تو در عجب بودند (از آن جهت که منظر او از مردمان و صورت او از بنی آدم بیشترتباه گردیده بود).

As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

۱۵ 15 همچنان بر امت های بسیارخواهد پاشید و به‌سبب او پادشاهان دهان خود را خواهند بست زیرا چیزهایی را که برای ایشان بیان نشده بود خواهند دید و آنچه را که نشنیده بودند خواهند فهمید.

So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
