| زیرا اینک خداوند یهوه صبایوت پایه ورکن را از اورشلیم و یهودا، یعنی تمامی پایه نان و تمامی پایه آب را دور خواهد کرد، | ۱ 1 |
For behold, the sovereign Lord of hosts will take away, from Jerusalem and from Judah, the powerful and the strong: all the strength from bread, and all the strength from water;
| وشجاعان و مردان جنگی و داوران و انبیا وفالگیران و مشایخ را، | ۲ 2 |
the strong man, and the man of war, the judge and the prophet, and the seer and the elder;
| و سرداران پنجاهه وشریفان و مشیران و صنعت گران ماهر و ساحران حاذق را. | ۳ 3 |
the leader over fifty and the honorable in appearance; and the counselor, and the wise among builders, and the skillful in mystical speech.
| و اطفال را بر ایشان حاکم خواهم ساخت و کودکان بر ایشان حکمرانی خواهندنمود. | ۴ 4 |
And I will provide children as their leaders, and the effeminate will rule over them.
| و قوم مظلوم خواهند شد، هرکس ازدست دیگری و هرشخص از همسایه خویش. واطفال بر پیران و پستان بر شریفان تمرد خواهندنمود. | ۵ 5 |
And the people will rush, man against man, and each one against his neighbor. The child shall rebel against the elder, and the ignoble against the noble.
| چون شخصی به برادر خویش در خانه پدرش متمسک شده، بگوید: «تو را رخوت هست پس حاکم ما شو و این خرابی در زیر دست تو باشد»، | ۶ 6 |
For a man will apprehend his brother, from the household of his own father, saying: “The vestment is yours. Be our leader, but let this ruin be under your hand.”
| در آن روز او آواز خود را بلند کرده، خواهد گفت: «من علاج کننده نتوانم شد زیرا درخانه من نه نان و نه لباس است پس مرا حاکم قوم مسازید.» | ۷ 7 |
In that day, he will respond by saying: “I am not a healer, and there is no bread or vestment in my house. Do not choose to appoint me as a leader of the people.”
| زیرا اورشلیم خراب شده و یهودامنهدم گشته است، از آن جهت که لسان و افعال ایشان به ضد خداوند می‌باشد تا چشمان جلال اورا به ننگ‌آورند. | ۸ 8 |
For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah has fallen, because their words and their plans are against the Lord, in order to provoke the eyes of his majesty.
| سیمای رویهای ایشان به ضدایشان شاهد است و مثل سدوم گناهان خود رافاش کرده، آنها را مخفی نمی دارند. وای برجانهای ایشان زیرا که به جهت خویشتن شرارت را بعمل آورده‌اند. | ۹ 9 |
The acknowledgement of their countenance is their response. For they have proclaimed their own sin, like Sodom; and they have not concealed it. Woe to their souls! For evils are being repaid to them.
| عادلان را بگویید که ایشان را سعادتمندی خواهد بود زیرا از ثمره اعمال خویش خواهند خورد. | ۱۰ 10 |
Tell the just man that it is well, for he shall eat from the fruit from his own plans.
| وای بر شریران که ایشان را بدی خواهد بود چونکه مکافات دست ایشان به ایشان کرده خواهد شد. | ۱۱ 11 |
Woe to the impious man immersed in evil! For retribution will be given to him from his own hands.
| و اما قوم من، کودکان بر ایشان ظلم می‌کنند و زنان بر ایشان حکمرانی می‌نمایند. ای قوم من، راهنمایان شماگمراه کنندگانند و طریق راههای شما را خراب می‌کنند. | ۱۲ 12 |
As for my people, their oppressors have despoiled them, and women have ruled over them. My people, who call you blessed, the same are deceiving you and disrupting the path of your steps.
| خداوند برای محاجه برخاسته و به جهت داوری قومها ایستاده است. | ۱۳ 13 |
The Lord stands for judgment, and he stands to judge the people.
| خداوند بامشایخ قوم خود و سروران ایشان به محاکمه درخواهد آمد، زیرا شما هستید که تاکستانها راخورده‌اید و غارت فقیران در خانه های شمااست. | ۱۴ 14 |
The Lord will enter into judgment with the elders of his people, and with their leaders. For you have been devouring the vineyard, and the plunder from the poor is in your house.
| خداوند یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید: «شمارا چه شده است که قوم مرا می‌کوبید و رویهای فقیران را خرد می‌نمایید؟» | ۱۵ 15 |
Why do you wear down my people, and grind up the faces of the poor, says the Lord, the God of hosts?
| و خداوند می‌گوید: «از این جهت که دختران صهیون متکبرند و با گردن افراشته وغمزات چشم راه می‌روند و به ناز می‌خرامند و به پایهای خویش خلخالها را به صدا می‌آورند.» | ۱۶ 16 |
And the Lord said: Because the daughters of Zion have been lifted up, and have walked with extended necks and winking eyes, because they have continued on, walking noisily and advancing with a pretentious stride,
| بنابراین خداوند فرق سر دختران صهیون را کل خواهد ساخت و خداوند عورت ایشان را برهنه خواهد نمود. | ۱۷ 17 |
the Lord will make the heads of the daughters of Zion bald, and the Lord will strip them of the locks of their hair.
| و در آن روز خداوند زینت خلخالها و پیشانی بندها و هلالها را دور خواهدکرد. | ۱۸ 18 |
In that day, the Lord will take away their decorative shoes,
| و گوشواره‌ها و دستبندها و روبندها را، | ۱۹ 19 |
and the little moons and chains, and the necklaces and bracelets, and the hats,
| و دستارها و زنجیرها و کمربندها و عطردانها وتعویذها را، | ۲۰ 20 |
and the ornaments for their hair, and the anklets, and the touches of myrrh and little bottles of perfumes, and the earrings,
| و انگشترها و حلقه های بینی را، | ۲۱ 21 |
and the rings, and the jewels hanging on their foreheads,
| و رخوت نفیسه و رداها و شالها و کیسه‌ها را، | ۲۲ 22 |
and the continual changes in appearance, and the short skirts, and the fine linens and embroidered cloths,
| و آینه‌ها و کتان نازک و عمامه‌ها و برقع‌ها را. | ۲۳ 23 |
and the mirrors, and scarves, and ribbons, and their sparse clothing.
| و واقع می‌شود که به عوض عطریات، عفونت خواهد شد و به عوض کمربند، ریسمان و به عوض مویهای بافته، کلی و به عوض سینه بند، زنار پلاس و به عوض زیبایی، سوختگی خواهدبود. | ۲۴ 24 |
And in place of a sweet fragrance, there will be stench. And in place of a belt, there will be a rope. And in place of stylish hair, there will be baldness. And in place of a blouse, there will be haircloth.
| مردانت به شمشیر و شجاعانت در جنگ خواهند افتاد. | ۲۵ 25 |
Likewise, your most handsome men will fall by the sword, and your strong men will fall in battle.
| و دروازه های وی ناله و ماتم خواهند کرد، و او خراب شده، بر زمین خواهدنشست. | ۲۶ 26 |
And her gates will grieve and mourn. And she will sit on the ground, desolate.
