اشعیا 21

۱ 1 وحی درباره بیابان بحر: چنانکه گردباد در جنوب می‌آید، این نیز از بیابان از زمین هولناک می‌آید.

۲ 2 رویای سخت برای من منکشف شده است، خیانت پیشه خیانت می‌کند و تاراج کننده تاراج می‌نماید. ای عیلام برآی و‌ای مدیان محاصره نما. تمام ناله آن را ساکت گردانیدم.

۳ 3 از این جهت کمر من از شدت درد پر شده است و درد زه مثل درد زنی که می‌زاید مرادرگرفته است. پیچ و تاب می‌خورم که نمی توانم بشنوم، مدهوش می‌شوم که نمی توانم ببینم.

۴ 4 دل من می‌طپید و هیبت مرا ترسانید. او شب لذت مرابرایم به خوف مبدل ساخته است.

۵ 5 سفره را مهیاساخته و فرش را گسترانیده به اکل و شرب مشغول می‌باشند. ای سروران برخیزید و سپرهارا روغن بمالید.

They are arranging the table they are spreading out the rug eating drinking arise O officials smear a shield.

۶ 6 زیرا خداوند به من چنین گفته است: «برو ودیده بان را قرار بده تا آنچه را که بیند اعلام نماید.

For thus he has said to me [the] Lord go station the watchman [that] which he will see let him tell.

۷ 7 و چون فوج سواران جفت جفت و فوج الاغان وفوج شتران را بیند آنگاه به دقت تمام توجه بنماید.»

And he will see a rider a pair of horses a rider of a donkey a rider of a camel and he will pay attention attentiveness greatness of attentiveness.

۸ 8 پس او مثل شیر صدا زد که «ای آقا من دائم در روز بر محرس ایستاده‌ام و تمامی شب بردیده بانگاه خود برقرار می‌باشم.

۹ 9 و اینک فوج مردان و سواران جفت جفت می‌آیند و او مزیدکرده، گفت: بابل افتاد افتاده است و تمامی تمثال های تراشیده خدایانش را بر زمین شکسته‌اند.»

۱۰ 10 ‌ای کوفته شده من و‌ای محصول خرمن من آنچه از یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل شنیدم به شما اعلام می‌نمایم.

O threshed one my and [the] son of threshing floor my [that] which I have heard from with Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel I have told to you.

۱۱ 11 وحی درباره دومه: کسی از سعیر به من ندا می‌کند که «ای دیده بان از شب چه خبر؟ ای دیده بان از شب چه خبر؟»

۱۲ 12 دیده بان می‌گوید که صبح می‌آید و شام نیز. اگر پرسیدن می‌خواهید بپرسید و بازگشت نموده، بیایید.»

۱۳ 13 وحی درباره عرب: ای قافله های ددانیان در جنگل عرب منزل کنید.

۱۴ 14 ‌ای ساکنان زمین تیما تشنگان را به آب استقبال کنید و فراریان را به خوراک ایشان پذیره شوید.

۱۵ 15 زیرا که ایشان از شمشیرها فرارمی کنند. از شمشیر برهنه و کمان زه شده و ازسختی جنگ.

۱۶ 16 زانرو که خداوند به من گفته است بعد ازیکسال موافق سالهای مزدوران تمامی شوکت قیدار تلف خواهد شد.

For thus he has said [the] Lord to me in yet a year like [the] years of a hired laborer and it will be finished all [the] splendor of Kedar.

۱۷ 17 و بقیه شماره تیراندازان و جباران بنی قیدار قلیل خواهد شدچونکه یهوه خدای اسرائیل این را گفته است.

And [the] remnant of a number of bowmen [the] warriors of [the] people of Kedar they will be few for Yahweh [the] God of Israel he has spoken.
