اشعیا 19

۱ 1 وحی درباره مصر: اینک خداوند بر ابر تیزرو سوار شده، به مصر می‌آید و بتهای مصر از حضور وی خواهدلرزید و دلهای مصریان در اندرون ایشان گداخته خواهد شد.

The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

۲ 2 و مصریان را بر مصریان خواهم برانگیخت. برادر با برادر خود و همسایه باهمسایه خویش و شهر با شهر و کشور با کشورجنگ خواهند نمود.

And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, [and] kingdom against kingdom.

۳ 3 و روح مصر در اندرونش افسرده شده، مشورتش را باطل خواهم گردانید وایشان از بتها و فالگیران و صاحبان اجنه وجادوگران سوال خواهند نمود.

And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

۴ 4 و مصریان را به‌دست آقای ستم کیش تسلیم خواهم نمود وپادشاه زورآور بر ایشان حکمرانی خواهد کرد. خداوند یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌گوید.

And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

۵ 5 و آب از دریا (نیل ) کم شده، نهر خراب وخشک خواهد گردید.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

۶ 6 و نهرها متعفن شده، جویهای ماصور کم شده می‌خشکد و نی و بوریاپژمرده خواهد شد.

And they shall turn the rivers far away; [and] the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.

۷ 7 و مرغزاری که بر کنار نیل وبر دهنه نیل است و همه مزرعه های نیل خشک ورانده شده و نابود خواهد گردید.

The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no [more].

۸ 8 و ماهی گیران ماتم می‌گیرند و همه آنانی که قلاب به نیل اندازندزاری می‌کنند و آنانی که دام بر روی آب گسترانند افسرده خواهند شد.

The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.

۹ 9 و عاملان کتان شانه زده و بافندگان پارچه سفید خجل خواهندشد.

Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.

۱۰ 10 و ارکان او ساییده و جمیع مزدوران رنجیده دل خواهند شد.

And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices [and] ponds for fish.

۱۱ 11 سروران صوعن بالکل احمق می‌شوند ومشورت مشیران دانشمند فرعون وحشی می گردد. پس چگونه به فرعون می‌گویید که من پسر حکما و پسر پادشاهان قدیم می‌باشم.

Surely the princes of Zoan [are] fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I [am] the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

۱۲ 12 پس حکیمان تو کجایند تا ایشان تو را اطلاع دهند وبدانند که یهوه صبایوت درباره مصر چه تقدیرنموده است.

Where [are] they? where [are] thy wise [men]? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

۱۳ 13 سروران صوعن ابله شده وسروران نوف فریب خورده‌اند و آنانی که سنگ زاویه اسباط مصر هستند آن را گمراه کرده‌اند.

The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, [even they that are] the stay of the tribes thereof.

۱۴ 14 و خداوند روح خیرگی در وسط آن آمیخته است که ایشان مصریان را در همه کارهای ایشان گمراه کرده‌اند مثل مستان که در قی خود افتان وخیزان راه می‌روند.

The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken [man] staggereth in his vomit.

۱۵ 15 و مصریان را کاری نخواهد ماند که سر یا دم نخل یا بوریا بکند.

Neither shall there be [any] work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

۱۶ 16 در آن روز اهل مصر مثل زنان می‌باشند و ازحرکت دست یهوه صبایوت که آن را بر مصر به حرکت می‌آورد لرزان و هراسان خواهند شد.

In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

۱۷ 17 و زمین یهودا باعث خوف مصر خواهد شد که هرکه ذکر آن را بشنود خواهد ترسید به‌سبب تقدیری که یهوه صبایوت بر آن مقدر نموده است.

And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

۱۸ 18 در آن روز پنج شهر در زمین مصر به زبان کنعان متکلم شده، برای یهوه صبایوت قسم خواهند خورد و یکی شهر هلاکت نامیده خواهدشد.

In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

۱۹ 19 در آن روز مذبحی برای خداوند در میان زمین مصر و ستونی نزد حدودش برای خداوندخواهد بود.

In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

۲۰ 20 و آن آیتی و شهادتی برای یهوه صبایوت در زمین مصر خواهد بود. زیرا که نزدخداوند به‌سبب جفاکنندگان خویش استغاثه خواهد نمود و او نجات‌دهنده و حمایت کننده‌ای برای ایشان خواهد فرستاد و ایشان راخواهد رهانید.

And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

۲۱ 21 و خداوند بر مصریان معروف خواهد شد و در آن روز مصریان خداوند راخواهند شناخت و با ذبایح و هدایا او را عبادت خواهند کرد و برای خداوند نذر کرده، آن را وفاخواهند نمود.

And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform [it].

۲۲ 22 و خداوند مصریان را خواهدزد و به زدن شفا خواهد داد زیرا چون بسوی خداوند بازگشت نمایند ایشان را اجابت نموده، شفا خواهد داد.

And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal [it: ] and they shall return [even] to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

۲۳ 23 در آن روز شاهراهی از مصر به آشورخواهد بود و آشوریان به مصر و مصریان به آشورخواهند رفت و مصریان با آشوریان عبادت خواهند نمود.

In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

۲۴ 24 در آن روز اسرائیل سوم مصر وآشور خواهد شد و آنها در میان جهان برکت خواهند بود.

In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, [even] a blessing in the midst of the land:

۲۵ 25 زیرا که یهوه صبایوت آنها رابرکت داده خواهد گفت قوم من مصر و صنعت دست من آشور و میراث من اسرائیل مبارک باشند.

Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed [be] Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
