The visions of Isaiah, the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
| ای آسمان بشنو وای زمین گوش بگیر زیراخداوند سخن می‌گوید. پسران پروردم وبرافراشتم اما ایشان بر من عصیان ورزیدند. | ۲ 2 |
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For Jehovah speaketh: “I have nourished and brought up children, And they have rebelled against me.
| گاومالک خویش را و الاغ آخور صاحب خود رامی شناسد، اما اسرائیل نمی شناسند و قوم من فهم ندارند. | ۳ 3 |
The ox knoweth his owner, And the ass his master's crib; But Israel doth not know; My people do not consider.”
| وای بر امت خطاکار و قومی که زیربار گناه می‌باشند و بر ذریت شریران و پسران مفسد. خداوند را ترک کردند و قدوس اسرائیل رااهانت نمودند و بسوی عقب منحرف شدند. | ۴ 4 |
Ah, sinful nation! a people laden with iniquity! A race of evil-doers! degenerate children! They have forsaken Jehovah; they have despised the Holy One of Israel; They have gone backward.
| چرا دیگر ضرب یابید و زیاده فتنه نمایید؟ تمامی سر بیمار است و تمامی دل مریض. | ۵ 5 |
Where can ye be smitten again, Since ye renew your rebellion? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint;
| ازکف پا تا به‌سر در آن تندرستی نیست بلکه جراحت و کوفتگی و زخم متعفن، که نه بخیه شده و نه بسته گشته و نه با روغن التیام شده است. | ۶ 6 |
From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it; It is all bruises, and stripes, and flesh wounds, Neither pressed, nor bound up, nor softened with ointment.
| ولایت شما ویران و شهرهای شما به آتش سوخته شده است. غریبان، زمین شما را در نظرشما می‌خورند و آن مثل واژگونی بیگانگان خراب گردیده است. | ۷ 7 |
Your country is desolate; Your cities are burnt with fire; Your ground, strangers devour it before your eyes; It is become desolate, destroyed by an enemy.
| و دختر صهیون مثل سایه بان در تاکستان و مانند کپر در بوستان خیار ومثل شهر محاصره شده، متروک است. | ۸ 8 |
And the daughter of Zion is left as a shed in a vineyard, As a hut in a garden of cucumbers, As a besieged city.
| اگر یهوه صبایوت بقیه اندکی برای ما وا نمی گذاشت، مثل سدوم می‌شدیم و مانند عموره می‌گشتیم. | ۹ 9 |
Had not Jehovah of hosts left us a small remnant, We had soon become as Sodom; We had been like to Gomorrah.
| ای حاکمان سدوم کلام خداوند را بشنویدو‌ای قوم عموره شریعت خدای ما را گوش بگیرید. | ۱۰ 10 |
Hear ye the word of Jehovah, ye princes of Sodom! Give ear to the instruction of our God, ye people of Gomorrah!
| خداوند می‌گوید از کثرت قربانی های شما مرا چه فایده است؟ از قربانی های سوختنی قوچها و پیه پرواریها سیر شده‌ام و به خون گاوان و بره‌ها و بزها رغبت ندارم. | ۱۱ 11 |
What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? saith Jehovah; I am satiated with burnt-offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; In the blood of bullocks and of lambs and of goats I have no delight.
| وقتی که می‌آیید تابه حضور من حاضر شوید، کیست که این را ازدست شما طلبیده است که دربار مرا پایمال کنید؟ | ۱۲ 12 |
When ye come to appear before me, Who hath required this of you, to tread my courts?
| هدایای باطل دیگر میاورید. بخور نزدمن مکروه است و غره ماه و سبت و دعوت جماعت نیز. گناه را با محفل مقدس نمی توانم تحمل نمایم. | ۱۳ 13 |
Bring no more false oblations! Incense is an abomination to me, The new moon also, and the sabbath, and the calling of the assembly; Iniquity and festivals I cannot endure.
| غره‌ها و عیدهای شما را جان من نفرت دارد؛ آنها برای من بار سنگین است که ازتحمل نمودنش خسته شده‌ام. | ۱۴ 14 |
Your new moons and your feasts my soul hateth; They are a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.
| هنگامی که دستهای خود را دراز می‌کنید، چشمان خود را ازشما خواهم پوشانید و چون دعای بسیارمی کنید، اجابت نخواهم نمود زیرا که دستهای شما پر از خون است. | ۱۵ 15 |
When ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; Yea, when ye multiply prayers, I will not hear: Your hands are full of blood!
| خویشتن را شسته، طاهرنمایید و بدی اعمال خویش را از نظر من دورکرده، از شرارت دست بردارید. | ۱۶ 16 |
Wash you; make you clean; Put away your evil doings from before mine eyes;
| نیکوکاری رابیاموزید و انصاف را بطلبید. مظلومان را رهایی دهید. یتیمان را دادرسی کنید و بیوه‌زنان راحمایت نمایید. | ۱۷ 17 |
Cease to do evil; Learn to do well; Seek justice; relieve the oppressed; Defend the fatherless; plead for the widow!
| خداوند می‌گوید بیایید تا با همدیگر محاجه نماییم. اگر گناهان شما مثل ارغوان باشد مانند برف سفید خواهد شد و اگرمثل قرمز سرخ باشد، مانند پشم خواهد شد. | ۱۸ 18 |
Come, now, and let us argue together, saith Jehovah. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they be red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
| اگر خواهش داشته، اطاعت نمایید، نیکویی زمین را خواهید خورد. | ۱۹ 19 |
If ye be willing and obedient, Ye shall consume the good of the land.
| اما اگر ابا نموده، تمردکنید شمشیر شما را خواهد خورد زیرا که دهان خداوند چنین می‌گوید. | ۲۰ 20 |
But if ye refuse, and be rebellious, The sword shall consume you; For the mouth of Jehovah hath said it.
| شهر امین چگونه زانیه شده است. آنکه ازانصاف مملو می‌بود و عدالت در وی سکونت می‌داشت، اما حال قاتلان. | ۲۱ 21 |
How is the faithful city become a harlot, She that was full of equity! Once justice dwelt in her, but now murderers!
| نقره تو به درد مبدل شده، و شراب تو از آب ممزوج گشته است. | ۲۲ 22 |
Thy silver is become dross; Thy wine is adulterated with water.
| سروران تو متمرد شده و رفیق دزدان گردیده، هریک از ایشان رشوه را دوست می‌دارند و در‌پی هدایا می‌روند. یتیمان را دادرسی نمی نمایند ودعوی بیوه‌زنان نزد ایشان نمی رسد. | ۲۳ 23 |
Thy princes are faithless, companions of thieves; Every one of them loveth gifts, and seeketh rewards; They render not justice to the fatherless, And the cause of the widow cometh not before them.
| بنابراین، خداوند یهوه صبایوت، قدیر اسرائیل می‌گویدهان من از خصمان خود استراحت خواهم یافت واز دشمنان خویش انتقام خواهم کشید. | ۲۴ 24 |
Wherefore, thus saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Ha! I will ease me of mine adversaries, And avenge me of mine enemies.
| ودست خود را بر تو برگردانیده، درد تو را بالکل پاک خواهم کرد، و تمامی ریمت را دور خواهم ساخت. | ۲۵ 25 |
And I will again turn my hand toward thee, And wholly purge away thy dross, And take away all thy alloy.
| و داوران تو را مثل اول و مشیران تو رامثل ابتدا خواهم برگردانید و بعد از آن، به شهرعدالت و قریه امین مسمی خواهی شد. | ۲۶ 26 |
And I will restore thee judges, as at the first, And counsellors, as at the beginning. Then shalt thou be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
| صهیون به انصاف فدیه داده خواهد شد وانابت کنندگانش به عدالت. | ۲۷ 27 |
Through justice shall Zion be delivered, And her reformed sons through righteousness.
| و هلاکت عاصیان و گناهکاران با هم خواهد شد و آنانی که خداوندرا ترک نمایند، نابود خواهند گردید. | ۲۸ 28 |
But destruction shall fall at once on the rebels and sinners; Yea, they that forsake Jehovah shall be consumed.
| زیراایشان از درختان بلوطی که شما خواسته بودیدخجل خواهند شد و از باغاتی که شما برگزیده بودید رسوا خواهند گردید. | ۲۹ 29 |
For ye shall be ashamed of the terebinths in which ye delighted; Ye shall blush for the gardens which ye loved;
| زیرا شما مثل بلوطی که برگش پژمرده و مانند باغی که آب نداشته باشد خواهید شد. | ۳۰ 30 |
And ye shall be as a terebinth-tree whose leaves are withered, And as a garden in which is no water.
| و مرد زورآور پرزه کتان و عملش شعله خواهد شد و هردوی آنها باهم سوخته خواهند گردید و خاموش کننده‌ای نخواهد بود. | ۳۱ 31 |
The strong shall become tow, And his work a spark of fire; Both shall burn together, And none shall quench them.
