| و واقع شد بعد از این وقایع، که خداابراهیم را امتحان کرده، بدو گفت: «ای ابراهیم!» عرض کرد: «لبیک.» | ۱ 1 |
And after these things God did proue Abraham, and said vnto him, Abraham. Who answered, Here am I.
| گفت: «اکنون پسرخود را، که یگانه توست و او را دوست می‌داری، یعنی اسحاق را بردار و به زمین موریا برو، و او رادر آنجا، بر یکی از کوههایی که به تو نشان می‌دهم، برای قربانی سوختنی بگذران.» | ۲ 2 |
And he said, Take nowe thine onely sonne Izhak whom thou louest, and get thee vnto the land of Moriah, and offer him there for a burnt offering vpon one of the mountaines, which I will shewe thee.
| بامدادان، ابراهیم برخاسته، الاغ خود رابیاراست، و دو نفر از نوکران خود را، با پسرخویش اسحاق، برداشته و هیزم برای قربانی سوختنی، شکسته، روانه شد، و به سوی آن مکانی که خدا او را فرموده بود، رفت. | ۳ 3 |
Then Abraham rose vp early in the morning, and sadled his asse, and tooke two of his seruants with him, and Izhak his sonne, and cloue wood for the burnt offering, and rose vp and went to the place, which God had tolde him.
| و در روزسوم، ابراهیم چشمان خود را بلند کرده، آن مکان را از دور دید. | ۴ 4 |
Then the third day Abraham lift vp his eyes, and sawe the place afarre off,
| آنگاه ابراهیم، به خادمان خودگفت: «شما در اینجا نزد الاغ بمانید، تا من با پسربدانجا رویم، و عبادت کرده، نزد شما بازآییم.» | ۵ 5 |
And said vnto his seruants, Abide you here with the asse: for I and the childe will go yonder and worship, and come againe vnto you.
| پس ابراهیم، هیزم قربانی سوختنی را گرفته، بر پسر خود اسحاق نهاد، و آتش و کارد را به‌دست خود گرفت؛ و هر دو با هم می‌رفتند. | ۶ 6 |
Then Abraham tooke the wood of the burnt offering, and layed it vpon Izhak his sonne, and he tooke the fire in his hand, and the knife: and they went both together.
| واسحاق پدر خود، ابراهیم را خطاب کرده، گفت: «ای پدر من!» گفت: «ای پسر من لبیک؟» گفت: «اینک آتش و هیزم، لکن بره قربانی کجاست؟» | ۷ 7 |
Then spake Izhak vnto Abraham his father, and said, My father. And he answered, Here am I, my sonne. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood, but where is the lambe for ye burnt offring?
| ابراهیم گفت: «ای پسر من، خدا بره قربانی رابرای خود مهیا خواهد ساخت.» و هر دو با هم رفتند. | ۸ 8 |
Then Abraham answered, My sonne, God will prouide him a lambe for a burnt offering: so they went both together.
| چون بدان مکانی که خدا بدو فرموده بود، رسیدند، ابراهیم در آنجا مذبح را بنا نمود، و هیزم را بر هم نهاد، و پسر خود، اسحاق را بسته، بالای هیزم، بر مذبح گذاشت. | ۹ 9 |
And when they came to the place which God had shewed him, Abraham builded an altar there, and couched ye wood, and bound Izhak his sonne and laid him on the altar vpon the wood.
| و ابراهیم، دست خودرا دراز کرده، کارد را گرفت، تا پسر خویش را ذبح نماید. | ۱۰ 10 |
And Abraham stretching forth his hand, tooke the knife to kill his sonne.
| در حال، فرشته خداوند از آسمان وی را ندا درداد و گفت: «ای ابراهیم! ای ابراهیم!» عرض کرد: «لبیک.» | ۱۱ 11 |
But the Angel of the Lord called vnto him from heauen, saying, Abraham, Abraham. And he answered, Here am I.
| گفت: «دست خود را برپسر دراز مکن، و بدو هیچ مکن، زیرا که الان دانستم که تو از خدا می‌ترسی، چونکه پسر یگانه خود را از من دریغ نداشتی.» | ۱۲ 12 |
Then he said, Lay not thine hand vpon the childe, neither doe any thing vnto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing for my sake thou hast not spared thine onely sonne.
| آنگاه، ابراهیم، چشمان خود را بلند کرده، دید که اینک قوچی، در عقب وی، در بیشه‌ای، به شاخهایش گرفتارشده. پس ابراهیم رفت و قوچ را گرفته، آن را درعوض پسر خود، برای قربانی سوختنی گذرانید. | ۱۳ 13 |
And Abraham lifting vp his eyes, looked: and behold, there was a ramme behind him caught by the hornes in a bush. then Abraham went and tooke the ramme, and offered him vp for a burnt offering in the steade of his sonne.
| و ابراهیم آن موضع را «یهوه یری» نامید، چنانکه تا امروز گفته می‌شود: «در کوه، یهوه، دیده خواهد شد.» | ۱۴ 14 |
And Abraham called the name of that place, Iehouah-ijreh. as it is said this day, In the mount will the Lord be seene.
| بار دیگر فرشته خداوند، به ابراهیم ازآسمان ندا درداد | ۱۵ 15 |
And the Angel of the Lord cryed vnto Abraham from heauen the second time,
| و گفت: «خداوند می‌گوید: به ذات خود قسم می‌خورم، چونکه این کار را کردی و پسر یگانه خود را دریغ نداشتی، | ۱۶ 16 |
And saide, By my selfe haue I sworne (saith ye Lord) because thou hast done this thing, and hast not spared thine onely sonne,
| هرآینه تو را برکت دهم، و ذریت تو را کثیر سازم، مانند ستارگان آسمان، و مثل ریگهایی که بر کناره دریاست. و ذریت تو دروازه های دشمنان خود رامتصرف خواهند شد. | ۱۷ 17 |
Therefore will I surely blesse thee, and will greatly multiplie thy seede, as the starres of the heauen, and as the sand which is vpon the sea shore, and thy seede shall possesse the gate of his enemies.
| و از ذریت تو، جمیع امتهای زمین برکت خواهند یافت، چونکه قول مرا شنیدی.» | ۱۸ 18 |
And in thy seede shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed my voyce.
| پس ابراهیم نزد نوکران خودبرگشت، و ایشان برخاسته، به بئرشبع با هم آمدند، و ابراهیم در بئرشبع ساکن شد. | ۱۹ 19 |
Then turned Abraham againe vnto his seruants, and they rose vp and went together to Beer-sheba: and Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.
| و واقع شد بعد از این امور، که به ابراهیم خبر داده، گفتند: «اینک ملکه نیز برای برادرت ناحور، پسران زاییده است. | ۲۰ 20 |
And after these things one tolde Abraham, saying, Beholde Milcah, she hath also borne children vnto thy brother Nahor:
| یعنی نخست زاده او عوص، و برادرش بوز و قموئیل، پدر ارام، | ۲۱ 21 |
To wit, Vz his eldest sonne, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,
| وکاسد و حزو و فلداش و یدلاف و بتوئیل.» | ۲۲ 22 |
And Chesed and Hazo, and Pildash, and Iidlaph, and Bethuel.
| وبتوئیل، رفقه را آورده است. این هشت را، ملکه برای ناحور، برادر ابراهیم زایید. | ۲۳ 23 |
And Bethuel begate Rebekah: these eight did Milcah beare to Nahor Abrahams brother.
| و کنیز او که رومه نام داشت، او نیز طابح و جاحم و تاحش ومعکه را زایید. | ۲۴ 24 |
And his concubine called Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gahan, and Thahash and Maachah.
