حزقیال 28

۱ 1 و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying

۲ 2 «ای پسر انسان به رئیس صور بگو: خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: چونکه دلت مغرور شده است و می‌گویی که من خدا هستم وبر کرسی خدایان در وسط دریا نشسته‌ام، و هرچند انسان هستی و نه خدا لیکن دل خود را ماننددل خدایان ساخته‌ای.

Son of man Say to the Prince of Tyre. Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh— Because lofty, is thy heart and thou hast said A GOD, am I, In the seat of God, have I taken my seat In the heart of the seas; Whereas thou art a man, and not a GOD, But hast set thy heart as the heart of God:

۳ 3 اینک تو از دانیال حکیم تر هستی و هیچ سری از تو مخفی نیست؟

Lo! wiser, thou than Daniel, — No secret, have they hidden from thee:

۴ 4 و به حکمت و فطانت خویش توانگری برای خود اندوخته و طلا و نقره در خزاین خود جمع نموده‌ای.

In thy wisdom and in thine understanding, hast thou gotten thee wealth, — And hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasuries:

۵ 5 به فراوانی حکمت و تجارت خویش دولت خود را افزوده‌ای پس به‌سبب توانگریت دلت مغرور گردیده است.»

By the greatness of thy wisdom and by thy traffic, hast thou multiplied thy riches, -And thy heart hath become lofty in thy riches:

۶ 6 بنابراین خداوندیهوه چنین می‌فرماید: «چونکه تو دل خود را مثل دل خدایان گردانیده‌ای،

Therefore, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,

۷ 7 پس اینک من غریبان وستم کیشان امت‌ها را بر تو خواهم آورد که شمشیرهای خود را به ضد زیبایی حکمت توکشیده، جمال تو را ملوث سازند.

Therefore behold me! bringing upon thee aliens, The terrible ones of the nations, - And they shall unsheathe their swords over the beauty of thy wisdom, And profane thy splendour:

۸ 8 و تو را به هاویه فرود آورند. پس به مرگ آنانی که در میان دریا کشته شوند خواهی مرد.

To the pit, shall they take thee down, - And thou shalt die the deaths of one thrust through, In the heart of the seas.

۹ 9 آیا به حضورقاتلان خود خواهی گفت که من خدا هستم؟ نی بلکه در دست قاتلانت انسان خواهی بود و نه خدا.

Wilt thou really say, God, am I, before him who is slaying thee; When, thou, art a man and not a God, in the hand of them who are piercing thee?

۱۰ 10 از دست غریبان به مرگ نامختونان کشته خواهی شد، زیرا خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید که من این را گفته‌ام.»

The deaths of the uncircumcised, shalt thou die by the hand of aliens, — For I have spoken, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

۱۱ 11 و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

۱۲ 12 «ای پسر انسان برای پادشاه صور مرثیه بخوان و وی را بگو خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: توخاتم کمال و مملو حکمت و کامل جمال هستی.

Son of man Take thou up a dirge over the king of Tyre, — And thou shalt say to him Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Thou wast of finished proportions, Full of wisdom and Perfect in beauty:

۱۳ 13 در عدن در باغ خدا بودی و هر گونه سنگ گرانبها از عقیق احمر و یاقوت اصفر و عقیق سفید و زبرجد و جزع و یشب و یاقوت کبود و بهرمان و زمرد پوشش تو بود. و صنعت دفها ونایهایت در تو از طلا بود که در روز خلقت تو آنهامهیا شده بود.

In Eden the garden of God, thou wast. Of every precious stone, was thy covering-Sardius. topaz, and diamond, Chrysolite beryl, and jasper, Sapphire carbuncle and emerald, - And of gold, was the work of thy timbrels and thy flutes within thee, In the day thou wast created, were they prepared:

۱۴ 14 تو کروبی مسح شده سایه‌گستربودی. و تو را نصب نمودم تا بر کوه مقدس خدابوده باشی. و در میان سنگهای آتشین می‌خرامیدی.

Thou, wast the anointed cherub that covered, — When I appointed thee, in the holy mount of God, thou wast, Amid stones of fire, thou didst walk to and fro:

۱۵ 15 از روزی که آفریده شدی تاوقتی که بی‌انصافی در تو یافت شد به رفتار خودکامل بودی.

Complete, wast thou in thy ways, from the day thou wast created, - Until perversity was found in thee.

۱۶ 16 اما از کثرت سوداگریت بطن تو رااز ظلم پر ساختند. پس خطا ورزیدی و من تو رااز کوه خدا بیرون انداختم. و تو را‌ای کروبی سایه‌گستر، از میان سنگهای آتشین تلف نمودم.

By the abundance of thy traffic, they filled thy midst with violence And thou didst sin, - So I cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God. And destroyed thee O covering cherub, from amid the stones of fire:

۱۷ 17 دل تو از زیباییت مغرور گردید و به‌سبب جمالت حکمت خود را فاسد گردانیدی. لهذا تورا بر زمین می‌اندازم و تو را پیش روی پادشاهان می‌گذارم تا بر تو بنگرند.

Lofty, was thy heart in thy beauty, Thou didst corrupt thy wisdom, because of thy splendour, — Upon the earth, did I cast thee. Before kings, did I set thee That they might look at thee:

۱۸ 18 به کثرت گناهت وبی انصافی تجارتت مقدس های خویش رابی عصمت ساختی. پس آتشی از میانت بیرون می‌آورم که تو را بسوزاند و تو را به نظر جمیع بینندگانت بر روی زمین خاکستر خواهم ساخت.

Owing to the abounding of thine iniquities. In the perversity of thy traffic, Thou didst profane thy sanctuaries, Therefore brought I forth fire out of thy midst. the same devoured thee, And I turned thee to ashes on the ground, Before the eyes of all beholding thee:

۱۹ 19 و همه آشنایانت از میان قوم‌ها بر تو متحیرخواهند شد. و تو محل دهشت شده، دیگر تا به ابد نخواهی بود.»

All that had known thee among the peoples were astounded over thee, — A terror, hast thou become, And, art not, Unto times age-abiding.

۲۰ 20 و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

۲۱ 21 «ای پسر انسان نظر خود را بر صیدون بدار و به ضدش نبوت نما.

Son of man, Set thy face towards Zidon, — And prophesy over it;

۲۲ 22 و بگو خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: اینک‌ای صیدون من به ضد تو هستم وخویشتن را در میان تو تمجید خواهم نمود. وحینی که بر او داوری کرده و خویشتن را در وی تقدیس نموده باشم، آنگاه خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.

and thou shalt say— Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! against thee, O Zidon, Therefore will I get myself glory in thy midst, — [And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh, ] When I have executed against her judgments And hallowed myself in her.

۲۳ 23 و وبا در او و خون در کوچه هایش خواهم فرستاد. و مجروحان به شمشیری که ازهر طرف بر او می‌آید در میانش خواهند افتاد. پس خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.

So then I will send against her, pestilence and blood in her streets, And the wounded shall fall in her midst by the sword upon her from every side, — And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

۲۴ 24 و باردیگر برای خاندان اسرائیل از جمیع مجاوران ایشان که ایشان را خوار می‌شمارند، خاری خلنده و شوک رنج آورنده نخواهند بود. پس خواهند دانست که من خداوند یهوه می‌باشم.»

And the house of Israel shall no more have a stinging prickle or a wounding thorn, of any round about them who used to despise them, - So shall they know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh.

۲۵ 25 خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «هنگامی که خاندان اسرائیل را از قوم هایی که در میان ایشان پراکنده شده‌اند جمع نموده، خویشتن را از ایشان به نظر امت‌ها تقدیس کرده باشم، آنگاه در زمین خودشان که به بنده خود یعقوب داده‌ام ساکن خواهند شد.

Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, When I gather together the house of Israel, from the midst of the peoples among whom they have been scattered, and shall hallow myself in them before the eyes of the nations Then shall they dwell upon their own soil, which I gave to my servant—to Jacob:

۲۶ 26 و در آن به امنیت ساکن شده، خانه‌ها بنا خواهند نمود و تاکستانها غرس خواهند ساخت. و چون بر جمیع مجاوران ایشان که ایشان را حقیر می‌شمارند داوری کرده باشم، آنگاه به امنیت ساکن شده، خواهند دانست که من یهوه خدای ایشان می‌باشم.»

Yea they shall dwell thereupon securely, Yea shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and dwell securely, — When I have executed judgments on all that despised them on every side of them, So shall they know that, I, Yahweh am their God
