حزقیال 25

۱ 1 و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

The word of YHWH came again unto me, saying,

۲ 2 «ای پسر انسان نظر خود را بربنی عمون بدار و به ضد ایشان نبوت نما.

Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

۳ 3 و به بنی عمون بگو: کلام خداوند یهوه را بشنوید! خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: چونکه درباره مقدس من حینی که بی‌عصمت شد و درباره زمین اسرائیل، حینی که ویران گردید و درباره خاندان یهودا، حینی که به اسیری رفتند هه گفتی،

And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Sovereign YHWH; Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

۴ 4 بنابراین همانا من تو را به بنی مشرق تسلیم می‌کنم تا در تو تصرف نمایند. و خیمه های خودرا در میان تو زده، مسکن های خویش را در تو بر پاخواهند نمود. و ایشان میوه تو را خواهند خوردو شیر تو را خواهند نوشید. و ربه را آرامگاه شتران و (زمین ) بنی عمون را خوابگاه گله هاخواهم گردانید و خواهید دانست که من یهوه هستم.

Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am YHWH.

۶ 6 زیرا خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: چونکه تو بر زمین اسرائیل دستک می‌زنی و پا برزمین می‌کوبی و به تمامی کینه دل خود شادی می‌نمایی،

For thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

۷ 7 بنابراین هان من دست خود را بر تو دراز خواهم کرد و تو را تاراج امت‌ها خواهم ساخت. و تو را از میان قوم‌ها منقطع ساخته، ازمیان کشورها نابود خواهم ساخت. و چون تو راهلاک ساخته باشم، آنگاه خواهی دانست که من یهوه هستم.»

Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am YHWH.

۸ 8 خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «چونکه موآب و سعیر گفته‌اند که اینک خاندان اسرائیل مانند جمیع امت‌ها می‌باشند،

Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

۹ 9 بنابراین اینک من حدود موآب را از شهرها یعنی از شهرهای حدودش که فخر زمین می‌باشد یعنی بیت یشیموت و بعل معون و قریه تایم مفتوح خواهم ساخت.

Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,

۱۰ 10 برای بنی مشرق آن را با بنی عمون (مفتوح خواهم ساخت ) و به تصرف ایشان خواهم داد تا بنی عمون دیگر در میان امت هامذکور نشوند.

Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

۱۱ 11 و بر موآب داوری خواهم نمودو خواهند دانست که من یهوه می‌باشم.»

And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am YHWH.

۱۲ 12 خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «از این جهت که ادوم از خاندان یهودا انتقام کشیده‌اند و درانتقام کشیدن از ایشان خطایی عظیم ورزیده‌اند،

Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

۱۳ 13 بنابراین خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: دست خود را برادوم دراز کرده، انسان و بهایم را از آن منقطع خواهم ساخت و آن را ویران کرده، ازتیمان تا ددان به شمشیر خواهند افتاد.

Therefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

۱۴ 14 و به‌دست قوم خود اسرائیل انتقام خود را از ادوم خواهم کشید و موافق خشم و غضب من به ادوم عمل خواهند نمود. و خداوند یهوه می‌گوید که انتقام مرا خواهند فهمید.»

And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Sovereign YHWH.

۱۵ 15 خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «چونکه فلسطینیان انتقام کشیدند و با کینه دل خود انتقام سخت کشیدند تا آن را به عداوت ابدی خراب نمایند،

Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

۱۶ 16 بنابراین خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: اینک من دست خود را بر فلسطینیان دراز نموده، کریتیان را منقطع خواهم ساخت و باقی ماندگان ساحل دریا را هلاک خواهم نمود.

Therefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

۱۷ 17 و باسرزنش غضب آمیز انتقام سخت از ایشان خواهم گرفت. پس چون انتقام خود را از ایشان کشیده باشم، آنگاه خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.»

And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am YHWH, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
