حزقیال 18
| و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت: | ۱ 1 |
The word of the LORD came to me again, saying,
| «شما چه‌کار دارید که این مثل رادرباره زمین اسرائیل می‌زنید و می‌گویید: پدران انگور ترش خوردند و دندانهای پسران کندگردید.» | ۲ 2 |
"What do you mean, that you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, 'The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?'
| خداوند یهوه می‌گوید: «به حیات خودم قسم که بعد از این این مثل را در اسرائیل نخواهیدآورد. | ۳ 3 |
As I live, says the LORD, you shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
| اینک همه جانها از آن منند چنانکه جان پدر است، همچنین جان پسر نیز، هردوی آنها ازآن من می‌باشند. هر کسی‌که گناه ورزد او خواهدمرد. | ۴ 4 |
Look, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins, he shall die.
| و اگر کسی عادل باشد و انصاف و عدالت رابعمل آورد، | ۵ 5 |
"But if a man is just, and does that which is lawful and right,
| و بر کوهها نخورد و چشمان خودرا بسوی بتهای خاندان اسرائیل برنیفرازد و زن همسایه خود را بی‌عصمت نکند و به زن حایض نزدیکی ننماید، | ۶ 6 |
and has not eaten on the mountains, neither has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither has defiled his neighbor's wife, neither has come near to a woman in her impurity,
| و بر کسی ظلم نکند و گروقرضدار را به او رد نماید و مال کسی را به غصب نبرد، بلکه نان خود را به گرسنگان بدهد وبرهنگان را به‌جامه بپوشاند، | ۷ 7 |
and has not wronged any, but has restored to the debtor his pledge, has taken nothing by robbery, has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment;
| و نقد را به سودندهد و ربح نگیرد، بلکه دست خود را از ستم برداشته، انصاف حقیقی را در میان مردمان اجرادارد، | ۸ 8 |
he who has not given forth on interest, neither has taken any increase, who has withdrawn his hand from iniquity, has executed true justice between man and man,
| و به فرایض من سلوک نموده و احکام مرانگاه داشته، به راستی عمل نماید. خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید که آن شخص عادل است و البته زنده خواهد ماند. | ۹ 9 |
has walked in my statutes, and has kept my ordinances, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live," says the LORD.
| «اما اگر او پسری ستم پیشه و خونریز تولیدنماید که یکی از این کارها را بعمل آورد، | ۱۰ 10 |
"If he fathers a son who is a robber, a shedder of blood, and who does any one of these things,
| وهیچکدام از آن اعمال نیکو را بعمل نیاورد بلکه برکوهها نیز بخورد و زن همسایه خود را بی‌عصمت سازد، | ۱۱ 11 |
and who does not any of those duties, but even has eaten on the mountains, and defiled his neighbor's wife,
| و بر فقیران و مسکینان ظلم نموده، مال مردم را به غصب ببرد و گرو را پس ندهد، بلکه چشمان خود را بسوی بتها برافراشته، مرتکب رجاسات بشود، | ۱۲ 12 |
has wronged the poor and needy, has taken by robbery, has not restored the pledge, and has lifted up his eyes to the idols, has committed abomination,
| و نقد را به سود داده، ربح گیرد، آیا او زنده خواهد ماند؟ البته او زنده نخواهد ماند و به‌سبب همه رجاساتی که بجاآورده است خواهد مرد و خونش بر سرش خواهد بود. | ۱۳ 13 |
has given forth on interest, and has taken increase; shall he then live? He shall not live: he has done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be on him.
| «و اگر پسری تولید نماید که تمامی گناهان را که پدرش بجا می‌آورد دیده، بترسد و مثل آنهاعمل ننماید، | ۱۴ 14 |
"Now, look, if he fathers a son, who sees all his father's sins, which he has done, and fears, and does not such like;
| و بر کوهها نخورد و چشمان خود را بسوی بتهای خاندان اسرائیل برنیفرازد وزن همسایه خویش را بی‌عصمت نکند، | ۱۵ 15 |
who has not eaten on the mountains, neither has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, has not defiled his neighbor's wife,
| و برکسی ظلم نکند و گرو نگیرد و مال احدی را به غصب نبرد بلکه نان خود را به گرسنگان دهد وبرهنگان را به‌جامه پوشاند، | ۱۶ 16 |
neither has wronged any, has not taken anything to pledge, neither has taken by robbery, but has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment;
| و دست خود را ازفقیران برداشته، سود و ربح نگیرد و احکام مرا بجاآورده، به فرایض من سلوک نماید، او به‌سبب گناه پدرش نخواهد مرد بلکه البته زنده خواهد ماند. | ۱۷ 17 |
who has withdrawn his hand from the poor, who has not received interest nor increase, has executed my ordinances, has walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
| و اما پدرش چونکه با برادران خود به شدت ظلم نموده، مال ایشان را غصب نمود و اعمال شنیع را در میان قوم خود بعمل آورد او البته به‌سبب گناهانش خواهد مرد. | ۱۸ 18 |
As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, robbed his brother, and did that which is not good among his people, look, he shall die in his iniquity.
| «لیکن شما می‌گویید چرا چنین است؟ آیاپسر متحمل گناه پدرش نمی باشد؟ اگر پسرانصاف و عدالت را بجا آورده، تمامی فرایض مرانگاه دارد و به آنها عمل نماید، او البته زنده خواهد ماند. | ۱۹ 19 |
"Yet you say, 'Why doesn't the son bear the iniquity of the father?' When the son has done that which is lawful and right, and has kept all my statutes, and has done them, he shall surely live.
| هر‌که گناه کند او خواهد مرد. پسر متحمل گناه پدرش نخواهد بود و پدرمتحمل گناه پسرش نخواهد بود. عدالت مردعادل بر خودش خواهد بود و شرارت مرد شریربر خودش خواهد بود. | ۲۰ 20 |
The soul who sins, he shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.
| «و اگر مرد شریر از همه گناهانی که ورزیده باشد بازگشت نماید و جمیع فرایض مرا نگاه داشته، انصاف و عدالت را بجا آورد او البته زنده مانده نخواهد مرد. | ۲۱ 21 |
"But if the wicked turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
| تمامی تقصیرهایی که کرده باشد به ضد او به یاد آورده نخواهد شد بلکه در عدالتی که کرده باشد زنده خواهد ماند.» | ۲۲ 22 |
None of his transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him: in his righteousness that he has done he shall live.
| خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: «آیا من از مردن مرد شریر مسرور می‌باشم؟ نی بلکه از اینکه ازرفتار خود بازگشت نموده، زنده ماند. | ۲۳ 23 |
Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?" says the LORD; "and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?
| و اگرمرد عادل از عدالتش برگردد و ظلم نموده، موافق همه رجاساتی که شریران می‌کنند عمل نماید آیااو زنده خواهد ماند؟ نی بلکه تمامی عدالت او که کرده است به یاد آورده نخواهد شد و در خیانتی که نموده و در گناهی که ورزیده است خواهدمرد. | ۲۴ 24 |
But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? None of his righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered: in his trespass that he has trespassed, and in his sin that he has sinned, in them shall he die.
| «اما شما می‌گویید که طریق خداوندموزون نیست. پس حال‌ای خاندان اسرائیل بشنوید: آیا طریق من غیر موزون است و آیاطریق شما غیر موزون نیست؟ | ۲۵ 25 |
"'Yet you say, "The way of the LORD is not just." Hear now, house of Israel: "Is my way not just? Aren't your ways unjust?"
| چونکه مردعادل از عدالتش برگردد و ظلم کند در آن خواهدمرد. به‌سبب ظلمی که کرده است خواهد مرد. | ۲۶ 26 |
When the righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and dies in it; in his iniquity that he has done shall he die.
| و چون مرد شریر را از شرارتی که کرده است بازگشت نماید و انصاف و عدالت را بجا آورد، جان خود را زنده نگاه خواهد داشت. | ۲۷ 27 |
Again, when the wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed, and does that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
| چونکه تعقل نموده، از تمامی تقصیرهایی که کرده بودبازگشت کرد البته زنده خواهد ماند و نخواهدمرد. | ۲۸ 28 |
Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
| لیکن شما‌ای خاندان اسرائیل می‌گوییدکه طریق خداوند موزون نیست. ای خاندان اسرائیل آیا طریق من غیر موزون است و آیاطریق شما غیر موزون نیست؟» | ۲۹ 29 |
Yet the house of Israel says, "The way of the LORD is not just." "House of Israel, aren't my ways just? Aren't your ways unjust?"
| بنابراین خداوند یهوه می‌گوید: «ای خاندان اسرائیل من برهریک از شما موافق رفتارش داوری خواهم نمود. پس توبه کنید و از همه تقصیرهای خودبازگشت نمایید تا گناه موجب هلاکت شما نشود. | ۳۰ 30 |
"'Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, everyone according to his ways,' says the LORD. 'Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
| تمامی تقصیرهای خویش را که مرتکب آنها شده‌اید از خود دور اندازید و دل تازه و روح تازه‌ای برای خود ایجاد کنید. زیرا که‌ای خاندان اسرائیل برای چه بمیرید؟ | ۳۱ 31 |
Cast away from you all your transgressions, in which you have transgressed; and make yourself a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, house of Israel?
| زیرا خداوند یهوه می‌گوید: من از مرگ آنکس که می‌میرد مسرورنمی باشم. پس بازگشت نموده، زنده مانید.» | ۳۲ 32 |
For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,' says the LORD: 'therefore turn yourselves, and live.'"
