استر 5

۱ 1 و در روز سوم، استر لباس ملوکانه پوشیده، به صحن دروازه اندرونی پادشاه، در مقابل خانه پادشاه بایستاد و پادشاه، بر کرسی خسروی خود در قصر سلطنت، روبروی دروازه خانه نشسته بود.

And it was - on the day third and she put on Esther royalty and she stood in [the] court of [the] house of the king inner before [the] house of the king and the king [was] sitting on [the] throne of royalty his in [the] house of royalty before [the] entrance of the house.

۲ 2 و چون پادشاه، استر ملکه را دید که در صحن ایستاده است، او در نظر وی التفات یافت. و پادشاه چوگان طلا را که در دست داشت، به سوی استر دراز کرد و استر نزدیک آمده، نوک عصا را لمس کرد.

And it was when saw the king Esther the queen standing in the court she bore favor in view his and he extended the king to Esther [the] scepter of gold which [was] in hand his and she drew near Esther and she touched [the] top of the scepter.

۳ 3 و پادشاه او را گفت: «ای استر ملکه، تو را چه شده است و درخواست تو چیست؟ اگر‌چه نصف مملکت باشد، به تو داده خواهد شد.»

And he said to her the king what? [is] to you O Esther the queen and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom so it may be given to you.

۴ 4 استر جواب داد که «اگر به نظر پادشاه پسندآید، پادشاه با هامان امروز به ضیافتی که برای اومهیا کرده‌ام بیاید.»

And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let him come the king and Haman this day to the feast which I have made for him.

۵ 5 آنگاه پادشاه فرمود که «هامان را بشتابانید، تابرحسب کلام استر کرده شود.» پس پادشاه وهامان، به ضیافتی که استر برپا نموده بود آمدند.

And he said the king bring quickly Haman to do [the] word of Esther and he came the king and Haman to the feast which she had made Esther.

۶ 6 و پادشاه در مجلس شراب به استر گفت: «مسئول تو چیست که به تو داده خواهد شد ودرخواست تو کدام؟ اگرچه نصف مملکت باشد، برآورده خواهد شد.»

And he said the king to Esther at [the] feast of wine what? [is] petition your sp it may be given to you and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom and it may be done.

۷ 7 استر در جواب گفت: «مسول و درخواست من این است،

And she answered Esther and she said petition my and request my.

۸ 8 که اگر در نظر پادشاه التفات یافتم و اگر پادشاه مصلحت داند که مسول مرا عطافرماید و درخواست مرا بجا آورد، پادشاه وهامان به ضیافتی که به جهت ایشان مهیا می‌کنم بیایند و فردا امر پادشاه را بجا خواهم آورد.»

If I have found favor in [the] eyes of the king and if [is] on the king good to grant petition my and to do request my let him come the king and Haman to the feast which I will make for them and tomorrow I will do according to [the] word of the king.

۹ 9 پس در آن روز هامان شادمان و مسرور شده، بیرون رفت. لیکن چون هامان، مردخای را نزددروازه پادشاه دید که به حضور او برنمی خیزد وحرکت نمی کند، آنگاه هامان بر مردخای به شدت غضبناک شد.

And he went out Haman on the day that joyful and good of heart and just as saw Haman Mordecai at [the] gate of the king and not he stood up and not he trembled from him and he was filled Haman towards Mordecai rage.

۱۰ 10 اما هامان خودداری نموده، به خانه خود رفت و فرستاده، دوستان خویش و زن خود زرش را خواند.

And he restrained himself Haman and he went to house his and he sent and he gathered friends his and Zeresh wife his.

۱۱ 11 و هامان برای ایشان، فراوانی توانگری خود و کثرت پسران خویش را و تمامی عظمتی را که پادشاه به او داده و او را بر سایر روسا و خدام پادشاه برتری داده بود، بیان کرد.

And he recounted to them Haman [about] [the] splendor of wealth his and [the] multitude of sons his and [about] all that he had made great him the king and this: he had exalted him above the officials and [the] servants of the king.

۱۲ 12 و هامان گفت: «استر ملکه نیز کسی را سوای من به ضیافتی که برپا کرده بود، همراه پادشاه دعوت نفرمود و فردا نیز او مراهمراه پادشاه دعوت کرده است.

And he said Haman also not she let come [anyone] Esther the queen with the king to the feast which she had prepared that except me and also for tomorrow I [am] invited by her with the king.

۱۳ 13 لیکن همه این چیزها نزد من هیچ است، مادامی که مردخای یهود را می‌بینم که در دروازه پادشاه نشسته است.»

And all this not it [is] adequate for me at any time when I [am] seeing Mordecai the Jew sitting at [the] gate of the king.

۱۴ 14 آنگاه زوجه‌اش زرش و همه دوستانش اورا گفتند: «داری به بلندی پنجاه ذراع بسازند وبامدادان، به پادشاه عرض کن که مردخای را بر آن مصلوب سازند. پس با پادشاه با شادمانی به ضیافت برو.» و این سخن به نظر هامان پسند آمده، امر کرد تا دار را حاضر کردند.

And she said to him Zeresh wife his and all friends his let people make a gallows high fifty cubit[s] and in the morning - speak to the king so people may hang Mordecai on it and go with the king to the feast joyful and it was good the word before Haman and he made the gallows.
