| اما سولس هنوز تهدید و قتل بر شاگردان خداوند همی دمید و نزد رئیس کهنه آمد، | ۱ 1 |
Meanwhile Saul, still breathing out threats of murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
| و از او نامه‌ها خواست به سوی کنایسی که دردمشق بود تا اگر کسی را از اهل طریقت خواه مردو خواه زن بیابد، ایشان را بند برنهاده، به اورشلیم بیاورد. | ۲ 2 |
and begged of him letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any that were of the Way, either men or women, he could bind them and bring them to Jerusalem.
| و در اثنای راه، چون نزدیک به دمشق رسید، ناگاه نوری از آسمان دور او درخشید | ۳ 3 |
And as he journeyed, when he was approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed round him.
| و به زمین افتاده، آوازی شنید که بدو گفت: «ای شاول، شاول، برای چه بر من جفا می‌کنی؟» | ۴ 4 |
He fell to the ground, and heard a voice which said to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?"
| گفت: «خداوندا تو کیستی؟» خداوند گفت: «من آن عیسی هستم که تو بدو جفا می‌کنی. | ۵ 5 |
And he said, "Who are you Lord?"
| لیکن برخاسته، به شهر برو که آنجا به تو گفته می‌شودچه باید کرد.» | ۶ 6 |
"I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he said. "Stand up and go into the city, and there you shall be told what you must do."
| اما آنانی که همسفر او بودند، خاموش ایستادند چونکه آن صدا را شنیدند، لیکن هیچ‌کس را ندیدند. | ۷ 7 |
Meanwhile the men who were his fellow travelers stood speechless, hearing indeed the voice, but beholding no one.
| پس سولس از زمین برخاسته، چون چشمان خود را گشود، هیچ‌کس را ندید و دستش را گرفته، او را به دمشق بردند، | ۸ 8 |
And Saul got up from the ground, but although his eyes were open, he continued to perceive nothing; so they took him by the hand and led him into Damascus.
| و سه روز نابینا بوده، چیزی نخورد و نیاشامید. | ۹ 9 |
And he remained there three days, seeing nothing, and without eating or drinking.
| و در دمشق، شاگردی حنانیا نام بود که خداوند در رویا بدو گفت: «ای حنانیا!» عرض کرد: «خداوندا لبیک!» | ۱۰ 10 |
Now there was in Damascus a disciple named Ananias, and the Lord spoke to him in a vision, saying, "Ananias!" And he answered, "Lo, I am here, Lord."
| خداوند وی را گفت: «برخیز و به کوچه‌ای که آن را راست می‌نامند بشتاب و در خانه یهودا، سولس نام طرسوسی راطلب کن زیرا که اینک دعا می‌کند، | ۱۱ 11 |
And the Lord said to him. "Arise, go into the street named ‘Straight,’ and make inquiries in the house of Judas for a man of Tarsus, one Saul.
| و شخصی حنانیا نام را در خواب دیده است که آمده، بر اودست گذارد تا بینا گردد.» | ۱۲ 12 |
He is now praying, and has seen a man named Ananias enter and lay his hands on him to restore his sight."
| حنانیا جواب داد که «ای خداوند، درباره این شخص از بسیاری شنیده‌ام که به مقدسین تو در اورشلیم چه مشقتهارسانید، | ۱۳ 13 |
"But, Lord," said Ananias, "I have heard from many about that man, and how much evil he did to the saints at Jerusalem!
| و در اینجا نیز از روسای کهنه قدرت دارد که هر‌که نام تو را بخواند، او را حبس کند.» | ۱۴ 14 |
"In this city, too, he has authority from the chief priests to arrest all those who call upon thy name."
| خداوند وی را گفت: «برو زیرا که او ظرف برگزیده من است تا نام مرا پیش امت‌ها و سلاطین و بنی‌اسرائیل ببرد. | ۱۵ 15 |
"Go," answered the Lord, "this man is chosen instrument of mine to bear my name before the nations and their kings, and before the Children of Israel also;
| زیرا که من او را نشان خواهم داد که چقدر زحمتها برای نام من بایدبکشد.» | ۱۶ 16 |
"for I am going to show him all he has to suffer for the sake of my name."
| پس حنانیا رفته، بدان خانه درآمد و دستهابر وی گذارده، گفت: «ای برادر شاول، خداوندیعنی عیسی که در راهی که می‌آمدی بر تو ظاهرگشت، مرا فرستاد تا بینایی بیابی و از روح‌القدس پر شوی.» | ۱۷ 17 |
And so Ananias went and entered into the house, and laying his hands on him, said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared to you on your journey, has sent me that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit."
| در ساعت از چشمان او چیزی مثل فلس افتاده، بینایی یافت و برخاسته، تعمیدگرفت. | ۱۸ 18 |
Instantly something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.
| و غذا خورده، قوت گرفت و روزی چند با شاگردان در دمشق توقف نمود. | ۱۹ 19 |
Afterward he took food and was strengthened. And he remained for some time with the disciples at Damascus.
| وبی درنگ، در کنایس به عیسی موعظه می‌نمود که او پسر خداست. | ۲۰ 20 |
And he began at once to proclaim in the synagogues Jesus as the Son of God.
| و آنانی که شنیدند تعجب نموده، گفتند: «مگر این آن کسی نیست که خوانندگان این اسم را در اورشلیم پریشان می‌نمود و در اینجا محض این آمده است تا ایشان را بند نهاده، نزد روسای کهنه برد؟» | ۲۱ 21 |
His hearers were all astonished, and began to say. "Is not this the very man who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called upon the Name? Did he not come hither for the express purpose of carrying them all in chains to the high priests?"
| اما سولس بیشتر تقویت یافته، یهودیان ساکن دمشق رامجاب می‌نمود و مبرهن می‌ساخت که همین است مسیح. | ۲۲ 22 |
But Saul gained more and more influence, and kept putting the Jews who lived in Damascus to confusion by his proof that Jesus was the Christ.
| اما بعد از مرور ایام چند یهودیان شورا نمودند تا او را بکشند. | ۲۳ 23 |
And when many days were fulfilled the Jews made a plot to kill Saul;
| ولی سولس ازشورای ایشان مطلع شد و شبانه‌روز به دروازه هاپاسبانی می‌نمودند تا او را بکشند. | ۲۴ 24 |
but information of their plot was given Saul, and although they kept watch day and night on the gates, in order to make away with him,
| پس شاگردان او را در شب در زنبیلی گذارده، از دیوارشهر پایین کردند. | ۲۵ 25 |
his disciples took him by night, and let him down over the wall, lowering him in a basket.
| و چون سولس به اورشلیم رسید، خواست به شاگردان ملحق شود، لیکن همه از او بترسیدندزیرا باور نکردند که از شاگردان است. | ۲۶ 26 |
So he came to Jerusalem, and attempted to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, because they did not believe that he was a disciple.
| اما برنابااو را گرفته، به نزد رسولان برد و برای ایشان حکایت کرد که چگونه خداوند را در راه دیده وبدو تکلم کرده و چطور در دمشق به نام عیسی به دلیری موعظه می‌نمود. | ۲۷ 27 |
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles, and told them how Saul had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him; and also how he had preached the Name of the Lord Jesus boldly at Damascus.
| و در اورشلیم با ایشان آمد و رفت می‌کرد و به نام خداوند عیسی به دلیری موعظه می‌نمود. | ۲۸ 28 |
Henceforth Saul was one of them, going in and out of the city, and speaking fearlessly in the Name of the Lord.
| و با هلینستیان گفتگوو مباحثه می‌کرد. اما درصدد کشتن او برآمدند. | ۲۹ 29 |
He also used to hold conversations and debates with the Grecian Jews, but they kept trying to kill him.
| چون برادران مطلع شدند، او را به قیصریه بردند و از آنجا به طرسوس روانه نمودند. | ۳۰ 30 |
When they learned this the brothers took him down to Caesarea, and then sent him forth to Tarsus.
| آنگاه کلیسا در تمامی یهودیه و جلیل و سامره آرامی یافتند و بنا می‌شدند و در ترس خداوند وبه تسلی روح‌القدس رفتار کرده، همی افزودند. | ۳۱ 31 |
Now throughout the whole of Judea, Galilee, and Samaria the Church continued to enjoy peace and to be spiritually built up. It was increasing in members also, as it kept walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
| اما پطرس در همه نواحی گشته، نزدمقدسین ساکن لده نیز فرود آمد. | ۳۲ 32 |
Now Peter, as he was going from town to town, came down also to the saints who lived in Lydda.
| و در آنجاشخصی اینیاس نام یافت که مدت هشت سال ازمرض فالج بر تخت خوابیده بود. | ۳۳ 33 |
Here he found a man named Aeneas, bedridden for eight years, a paralytic.
| پطرس وی را گفت: «ای اینیاس، عیسی مسیح تو را شفامی دهد. برخیز و بستر خود را برچین که او درساعت برخاست.» | ۳۴ 34 |
Peter said to him. "Aeneas, Jesus Christ cures you! Rise and make your own bed!"
| و جمیع سکنه لده و سارون او را دیده، به سوی خداوند بازگشت کردند. | ۳۵ 35 |
At once he rose to his feet. All the people of Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
| و در یافا، تلمیذه‌ای طابیتا نام بود که معنی آن غزال است. وی از اعمال صالحه و صدقاتی که می‌کرد، پر بود. | ۳۶ 36 |
Among the disciples at Joppa was a woman named Tabitha - which may be translated Dorcas or "Gazelle" - a woman whose life was full of good works and almsgiving, which she was doing continually.
| از قضا در آن ایام او بیمارشده، بمرد و او را غسل داده، در بالاخانه‌ای گذاردند. | ۳۷ 37 |
She, as it happened, was taken ill just at that time, and died. After washing her body, they laid it in an upper room.
| و چونکه لده نزدیک به یافا بود وشاگردان شنیدند که پطرس در آنجا است، دو نفرنزد او فرستاده، خواهش کردند که «در‌آمدن نزدما درنگ نکنی.» | ۳۸ 38 |
And as Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, when they heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the entreaty, "Delay not to come to us."
| آنگاه پطرس برخاسته، باایشان آمد و چون رسید او را بدان بالاخانه بردندو همه بیوه‌زنان گریه‌کنان حاضر بودند و پیراهنهاو جامه هایی که غزال وقتی که با ایشان بود دوخته بود، به وی نشان می‌دادند. | ۳۹ 39 |
So Peter arose and went with them. On his arrival they took him up- stairs, and all the widows stood near him, weeping, and showing him the cloaks and garments which Dorcas used to make, while she was still with them.
| اما پطرس همه رابیرون کرده، زانو زد و دعا کرده، به سوی بدن توجه کرد و گفت: «ای طابیتا، برخیز!» که درساعت چشمان خود را باز کرد و پطرس را دیده، بنشست. | ۴۰ 40 |
But Peter put them all out, and kneeled down, and prayed; and then turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, rise!" She opened her eyes, and on seeing Peter she sat up.
| پس دست او را گرفته، برخیزانیدش و مقدسان و بیوه‌زنان را خوانده، او را بدیشان زنده سپرد. | ۴۱ 41 |
Then he gave her his hand and raised her up, and after calling the saints and the widows, he gave her back to them alive.
| چون این مقدمه در تمامی یافا شهرت یافت، بسیاری به خداوند ایمان آوردند. | ۴۲ 42 |
This incident became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.
| و دریافا نزد دباغی شمعون نام روزی چند توقف نمود. | ۴۳ 43 |
Peter stayed for some time in Joppa, lodging in the house of Simon, the tanner.
