دوم سموئیل 22

۱ 1 و داود در روزی که خداوند او را ازدست جمیع دشمنانش و از دست شاول رهایی داد، کلمات این سرود را برای خداوند انشا نمود.

And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul:

۲ 2 و گفت: «خداوند صخره من و قلعه من و رهاننده من است.

And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

۳ 3 خدای صخره من که بر او توکل خواهم نمود، سپر من و شاخ نجاتم، برج بلند و ملجای من، ای نجات‌دهنده من، مرا از ظلم خواهی رهانید.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my preserver; thou savest me from violence.

۴ 4 خداوند را که سزاوار کل حمد است، خواهم خواند. پس از دشمنان خود خلاصی خواهم یافت.

I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.

۵ 5 زیرا که موجهای موت مرا احاطه نموده، وسیلهای عصیان مرا ترسانیده بود.

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly-men made me afraid;

۶ 6 رسنهای گور مرا احاطه نمودند. دامهای موت مرا دریافتند. (Sheol h7585)

The sorrows of hell encompassed me; the snares of death seized me; (Sheol h7585)

۷ 7 در تنگی خود خداوند را خواندم. و نزد خدای خویش دعا نمودم. و او آواز مرا از هیکل خودشنید. و استغاثه من به گوش وی رسید.

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry [entered] into his ears.

۸ 8 آنگاه زمین متزلزل و مرتعش گردید. واساسهای آسمان بلرزیدند. و از حدت خشم اومتحرک گردیدند.

Then the earth shook and trembled: the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

۹ 9 از بینی وی دود متصاعد شد. و از دهان او آتش سوزان درآمد و اخگرها از آن افروخته گردید.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

۱۰ 10 و او آسمانها را خم کرده، نزول فرمود. وتاریکی غلیظ زیر پایهایش بود.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness [was] under his feet.

۱۱ 11 بر کروبین سوار شده، پرواز نمود. و بر بالهای باد نمایان گردید.

And he rode upon a cherub, and flew: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

۱۲ 12 ظلمت را به اطراف خود سایبانها ساخت. واجتماع آبها و ابرهای متراکم افلاک را.

And he made darkness pavilions around him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies.

۱۳ 13 از درخشندگی‌ای که پیش روی وی بود، اخگرهای آتش افروخته گردید.

Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

۱۴ 14 خداوند از آسمان رعد نمود. و حضرت اعلی آواز خویش را مسموع گردانید.

The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

۱۵ 15 تیرها فرستاده، ایشان را پراکنده ساخت. و برق را جهانیده، ایشان را سراسیمه گردانید.

And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

۱۶ 16 پس عمق های دریا ظاهر شد. و اساسهای ربع مسکون منکشف گردید. از توبیخ خداوند و ازنفخه باد بینی وی.

And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were laid open, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

۱۷ 17 از اعلی علیین فرستاده، مرا گرفت. و از آبهای بسیار مرا بیرون کشید.

He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;

۱۸ 18 مرا از دشمنان زورآورم رهایی داد. و ازمبغضانم، چونکه از من قویتر بودند.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

۱۹ 19 در روز شقاوت من، ایشان مرا دریافته بودند. لیکن خداوند تکیه گاه من بود.

They fell upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my support.

۲۰ 20 مرا به مکان وسیع بیرون آورد. و مرا خلاصی داد چونکه به من رغبت می‌داشت.

He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

۲۱ 21 پس خداوند مرا به حسب عدالتم جزا خواهدداد. و به حسب پاکیزگی دستم مرا مکافات خواهد رسانید.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

۲۲ 22 زیرا که طریق های خداوند را حفظ نمودم. و ازخدای خویش عصیان نورزیدم.

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

۲۳ 23 چونکه جمیع احکام او در مد نظر من است. واز فرایض او انحراف نورزیدم.

For all his judgments [were] before me: and [as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.

۲۴ 24 و به حضور او کامل شدم. و از عصیان ورزیدن، خویشتن را بازداشتم.

I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from my iniquity.

۲۵ 25 بنابراین خداوند مرا به حسب عدالتم جزا داد. و بر‌حسب صداقتی که در نظر وی داشتم.

Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye-sight.

۲۶ 26 با شخص رحیم، خویشتن را رحیم خواهی نمود. و با مرد کامل با کاملیت رفتار خواهی کرد.

With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful, [and] with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright.

۲۷ 27 با شخص طاهر به طهارت عمل خواهی نمود. و با کج خلقان مخالفت خواهی کرد.

With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt contend.

۲۸ 28 و قوم مستمند را نجات خواهی داد. اماچشمان تو بر متکبران است تا ایشان را پست گردانی.

And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thy eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.

۲۹ 29 زیرا که تو‌ای خداوند، نور من هستی. وخداوند، تاریکی مرا به روشنایی مبدل خواهدساخت.

For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

۳۰ 30 زیرا که به استعانت تو بر لشکری تاخت آوردم. و به مدد خدای خود بر حصارها جست وخیز نمودم.

For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

۳۱ 31 و اما خدا، طریق وی کامل است؛ و کلام خداوند مصفا؛ و او برای جمیع متوکلانش سپرمی باشد.

[As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him.

۳۲ 32 زیرا کیست خدا غیر از یهوه؟ و کیست صخره غیر از خدای ما؟

For who [is] God, save the LORD? and who [is] a rock, save our God?

۳۳ 33 خدا قلعه استوار من است. و طریق مرا کامل می سازد.

God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect.

۳۴ 34 و پایهایم را مثل پای غزال می‌گرداند، و مرا برمکانهای بلندم برپا می‌دارد.

He maketh my feet like hinds' [feet]: and setteth me upon my high places.

۳۵ 35 دستهای مرا به جنگ تعلیم می‌دهد، و به بازوی خود کمان برنجین را می‌کشم.

He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.

۳۶ 36 و سپر نجات خود را به من خواهی داد، و لطف تو مرا بزرگ خواهد ساخت.

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

۳۷ 37 قدمهای مرا در زیر من وسعت دادی که پایهایم نلغزید.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet have not slipped.

۳۸ 38 دشمنان خود را تعاقب نموده، ایشان را هلاک خواهم ساخت، و تا نابود نشوند بر نخواهم گشت.

I have pursued my enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

۳۹ 39 ایشان را خراب کرده، خرد خواهم ساخت تادیگر برنخیزند، و زیر پایهایم خواهند افتاد.

And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they have fallen under my feet.

۴۰ 40 زیرا کمر مرا برای جنگ به قوت خواهی بست، و آنانی را که به ضد من برخیزند در زیر من خم خواهی ساخت.

For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.

۴۱ 41 و دشمنانم را پیش من منهزم خواهی کرد تاخصمان خود را منقطع سازم.

Thou hast also given me the necks of my enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

۴۲ 42 فریاد برمی آورند، اما رهاننده‌ای نیست؛ و به سوی خداوند، لیکن ایشان را اجابت نخواهدکرد.

They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] to the LORD, but he answered them not.

۴۳ 43 پس ایشان را مثل غبار زمین نرم می‌کنم. و مثل گل کوچه‌ها کوبیده، پایمال می‌سازم.

Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I stamped them as the mire of the street, [and] spread them abroad.

۴۴ 44 و تو مرا از مخاصمات قوم من خواهی رهانید، و مرا برای سرداری امت‌ها حفظ خواهی کرد، وقومی را که نشناخته بودم، مرا بندگی خواهندنمود.

Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me [to be] head of the heathen: a people [which] I knew not shall serve me.

۴۵ 45 غریبان نزد من تذلل خواهند کرد و به مجردشنیدن من، مرا اطاعت خواهند نمود.

Strangers shall submit themselves to me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient to me.

۴۶ 46 غریبان پژمرده خواهند گردید و از مکان های مخفی خود با ترس بیرون خواهند آمد.

Strangers shall fade away, and they shall tremble from their close places.

۴۷ 47 خداوند زنده است و صخره من متبارک وخدای صخره نجات من متعال باد.

The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

۴۸ 48 ‌ای خدایی که برای من انتقام می‌کشی و قومهارا زیر من پست می‌سازی.

It [is] God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,

۴۹ 49 و مرا از دست دشمنانم بیرون می‌آوری و برمقاومت کنندگانم مرا بلند می‌گردانی. تو مرا ازمرد ظالم خلاصی خواهی داد.

And that bringeth me forth from my enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

۵۰ 50 بنابراین‌ای خداوند، تو را در میان امت‌ها حمدخواهم گفت. و به نام تو ترنم خواهم نمود.

Therefore I will give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to thy name.

۵۱ 51 نجات عظیمی برای پادشاه خود می‌نماید. وبرای مسیح خویش رحمت را پدید می‌آورد. به جهت داود و ذریت وی تا ابدالاباد.»

[He is] the tower of salvation for his king: and [he] showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
