دوم سموئیل 17
| و اخیتوفل به ابشالوم گفت: «مرا اذن بده که دوازده هزار نفر را برگزیده، برخیزم و شبانگاه داود را تعاقب نمایم. | ۱ 1 |
Moreover Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Let me now choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David this night:
| پس در حالتی که او خسته و دستهایش سست است بر اورسیده، او را مضطرب خواهم ساخت و تمامی قومی که همراهش هستند، خواهند گریخت، وپادشاه را به تنهایی خواهم کشت. | ۲ 2 |
and I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only:
| و تمامی قوم را نزد تو خواهم برگردانید زیرا شخصی که او رامی طلبی مثل برگشتن همه است، پس تمامی قوم در سلامتی خواهند بود.» | ۳ 3 |
and I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: [so] all the people shall be in peace.
| و این سخن در نظرجمیع مشایخ اسرائیل پسند آمد. | ۴ 4 |
And the saying pleased Absalom well, and all the elders of Israel.
| و ابشالوم گفت: «حوشای ارکی را نیزبخوانید تا بشنویم که او چه خواهد گفت.» | ۵ 5 |
Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he saith.
| وچون حوشای نزد ابشالوم آمد، ابشالوم وی راخطاب کرده، گفت: «اخیتوفل بدین مضمون گفته است، پس تو بگو که بر‌حسب رای او عمل نماییم یا نه.» | ۶ 6 |
And when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken after this manner: shall we do [after] his saying? if not, speak thou.
| حوشای به ابشالوم گفت: «مشورتی که اخیتوفل این مرتبه داده است، خوب نیست.» | ۷ 7 |
And Hushai said unto Absalom, The counsel that Ahithophel hath given this time is not good.
| و حوشای گفت: «می‌دانی که پدرت ومردانش شجاع هستند و مثل خرسی که بچه هایش را در بیابان گرفته باشند، در تلخی جانند، و پدرت مرد جنگ آزموده است، و شب را در میان قوم نمی ماند. | ۸ 8 |
Hushai said moreover, Thou knowest thy father and his men, that they be mighty men, and they be chafed in their minds, as a bear robbed of her whelps in the field: and thy father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people.
| اینک او الان درحفره‌ای یا جای دیگر مخفی است، و واقع خواهد شد که چون بعضی از ایشان در ابتدابیفتند، هر کس که بشنود خواهد گفت: در میان قومی که تابع ابشالوم هستند، شکستی واقع شده است. | ۹ 9 |
Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some [other] place: and it will come to pass, when some of them be fallen at the first, that whosoever heareth it will say, There is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.
| و نیز شجاعی که دلش مثل دل شیرباشد، بالکل گداخته خواهد شد، زیرا جمیع اسرائیل می‌دانند که پدر تو جباری است ورفیقانش شجاع هستند. | ۱۰ 10 |
And even he that is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, shall utterly melt: for all Israel knoweth that thy father is a mighty man, and they which be with him are valiant men.
| لهذا رای من این است که تمامی اسرائیل از دان تا بئرشبع که مثل ریگ کناره دریا بی‌شمارند، نزد تو جمع شوند، وحضرت تو همراه ایشان برود. | ۱۱ 11 |
But I counsel that all Israel be gathered together unto thee, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, as the sand that is by the sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in thine own person.
| پس در مکانی که یافت می‌شود بر او خواهیم رسید، و مثل شبنمی که بر زمین می‌ریزد بر او فرود خواهیم آمد، و از او و تمامی مردانی که همراه وی می‌باشند، یکی هم باقی نخواهد ماند. | ۱۲ 12 |
So shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will light upon him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him we will not leave so much as one.
| و اگر به شهری داخل شود، آنگاه تمامی اسرائیل طنابهابه آن شهر خواهند‌آورد و آن شهر را به نهرخواهند کشید تا یک سنگ ریزه‌ای هم در آن پیدانشود.» | ۱۳ 13 |
Moreover, if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Israel bring ropes to that city, and we will draw it into the river, until there be not one small stone found there.
| پس ابشالوم و جمیع مردان اسرائیل گفتند: «مشورت حوشای ارکی از مشورت اخیتوفل بهتر است.» زیرا خداوند مقدر فرموده بود که مشورت نیکوی اخیتوفل را باطل گرداند تا آنکه خداوند بدی را بر ابشالوم برساند. | ۱۴ 14 |
And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.
| و حوشای به صادوق و ابیاتار کهنه گفت: «اخیتوفل به ابشالوم و مشایخ اسرائیل چنین و چنان مشورت داده، و من چنین و چنان مشورت داده‌ام. | ۱۵ 15 |
Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar the priests. Thus and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and thus and thus have I counselled.
| پس حال به زودی بفرستید و داود رااطلاع داده، گویید: امشب در کناره های بیابان توقف منما بلکه به هر طوری که توانی عبور کن، مبادا پادشاه و همه کسانی که همراه وی می‌باشند، بلعیده شوند.» | ۱۶ 16 |
Now therefore send quickly, and tell David, saying, Lodge not this night at the fords of the wilderness, but in any wise pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the people that are with him.
| و یوناتان و اخیمعص نزد عین روجل توقف می‌نمودند و کنیزی رفته، برای ایشان خبرمی آورد، و ایشان رفته، به داود پادشاه خبرمی رسانیدند، زیرا نمی توانستند به شهر داخل شوند که مبادا خویشتن را ظاهر سازند. | ۱۷ 17 |
Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by En-rogel; and a maidservant used to go and tell them; and they went and told king David: for they might not be seen to come into the city.
| اماغلامی ایشان را دیده، به ابشالوم خبر داد، و هردوی ایشان به زودی رفته، به خانه شخصی دربحوریم داخل شدند و در حیاط او چاهی بود که در آن فرود شدند. | ۱۸ 18 |
But a lad saw them, and told Absalom: and they went both of them away quickly, and came to the house of a man in Bahurim, who had a well in his court; and they went down thither.
| و زن، سرپوش چاه راگرفته، بر دهنه‌اش گسترانید و بلغور بر آن ریخت. پس چیزی معلوم نشد. | ۱۹ 19 |
And the woman took and spread the covering over the well’s mouth, and strewed bruised corn thereon; and nothing was known.
| و خادمان ابشالوم نزدآن زن به خانه درآمده، گفتند: «اخیمعص ویوناتان کجایند؟» زن به ایشان گفت: «از نهر آب عبور کردند.» پس چون جستجو کرده، نیافتند، به اورشلیم برگشتند. | ۲۰ 20 |
And Absalom’s servants came to the woman to the house; and they said, Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of water. And when they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.
| و بعد از رفتن آنها، ایشان از چاه برآمدند ورفته، داود پادشاه را خبر دادند و به داود گفتند: «برخیزید و به زودی از آب عبور کنید، زیرا که اخیتوفل درباره شما چنین مشورت داده است.» | ۲۱ 21 |
And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David; and they said unto David, Arise ye, and pass quickly over the water: for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against you.
| پس داود و تمامی قومی که همراهش بودند، برخاستند و از اردن عبور کردند و تا طلوع فجریکی باقی نماند که از اردن عبور نکرده باشد. | ۲۲ 22 |
Then David arose, and all the people that were with him, and they passed over Jordan: by the morning light there lacked not one of them that was not gone over Jordan.
| اما چون اخیتوفل دید که مشورت او بجاآورده نشد، الاغ خود را بیاراست و برخاسته، به شهر خود به خانه‌اش رفت و برای خانه خودتدارک دیده، خویشتن را خفه کرد و مرد و او را در قبر پدرش دفن کردند. | ۲۳ 23 |
And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, and gat him home, unto his city, and set his house in order, and hanged himself; and he died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.
| اما داود به محنایم آمد و ابشالوم از اردن گذشت و تمامی مردان اسرائیل همراهش بودند. | ۲۴ 24 |
Then David came to Mahanaim. And Absalom passed over Jordan, he and all the men of Israel with him.
| و ابشالوم، عماسا را به‌جای یوآب به‌سرداری لشکر نصب کرد، و عماسا پسر شخصی مسمی به یترای اسرائیلی بود که نزد ابیجایل، دخترناحاش، خواهر صرویه، مادر یوآب درآمده بود. | ۲۵ 25 |
And Absalom set Amasa over the host instead of Joab. Now Amasa was the son of a man, whose name was Ithra the Israelite, that went in to Abigal the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah Joab’s mother.
| پس اسرائیل و ابشالوم در زمین جلعاد اردوزدند. | ۲۶ 26 |
And Israel and Absalom pitched in the land of Gilead.
| و واقع شد که چون داود به محنایم رسید، شوبی ابن ناحاش از ربت بنی عمون و ماکیر بن عمیئیل از لودبار و برزلائی جلعادی از روجلیم، | ۲۷ 27 |
And it came to pass, when David was come to Mahanaim, that Shobi the son of Nahash of Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and Machir the son of Ammiel of Lo-debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite of Rogelim,
| بسترها و کاسه‌ها و ظروف سفالین و گندم وجو و آرد و خوشه های برشته و باقلا و عدس ونخود برشته، | ۲۸ 28 |
brought beds, and basons, and earthen vessels, and wheat, and barley, and meal, and parched [corn], and beans, and lentils, and parched [pulse],
| و عسل و کره و گوسفندان و پنیرگاو برای خوراک داود و قومی که همراهش بودندآوردند، زیرا گفتند که قوم در بیابان گرسنه وخسته و تشنه می‌باشند. | ۲۹ 29 |
and honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of kine, for David, and for the people that were with him, to eat: for they said, The people is hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.
