دوم پادشاهان 23

۱ 1 و پادشاه فرستاد که تمامی مشایخ یهودا و اورشلیم را نزد وی جمع کردند.

And thei telden to the kyng that, that sche seide; `which kyng sente, and alle the elde men of Juda, and of Jerusalem, weren gaderid to hym.

۲ 2 و پادشاه و تمامی مردان یهودا و جمیع سکنه اورشلیم با وی و کاهنان و انبیا و تمامی قوم، چه کوچک و چه بزرگ، به خانه خداوندبرآمدند. و او تمامی سخنان کتاب عهدی را که درخانه خداوند یافت شد، در گوش ایشان خواند.

And the kyng stiede in to the temple of the Lord, and alle the men of Juda, and alle men that dwelliden in Jerusalem with hym, the preestis, and the prophetis, and al the puple, fro litil `til to greet; and he redde, while alle men herden, alle the wordis of the book of boond of pees of the Lord, which book was foundun in the hows of the Lord.

۳ 3 و پادشاه نزد ستون ایستاد و به حضور خداوندعهد بست که خداوند را پیروی نموده، اوامر وشهادات و فرایض او را به تمامی دل و تمامی جان نگاه دارند و سخنان این عهد را که در این کتاب مکتوب است، استوار نمایند. پس تمامی قوم این عهد را برپا داشتند.

And the kyng stood on the grees; and he smoot boond of pees bifor the Lord, that thei schulden go aftir the Lord, and kepe hise comaundementis and witnessyngis and cerymonyes in al the herte and in al the soule, that thei schulden reise the wordis of this boond of pees, that weren writun in that book; and the puple assentide to the couenaunt.

۴ 4 و پادشاه، حلقیا، رئیس کهنه و کاهنان دسته دوم و مستحفظان در را امر فرمود که تمامی ظروف را که برای بعل و اشیره و تمامی لشکرآسمان ساخته شده بود، از هیکل خداوند بیرون آورند. و آنها را در بیرون اورشلیم در مزرعه های قدرون سوزانید و خاکستر آنها را به بیت ئیل برد.

And the kyng comaundide to Helchie, the bischop, and to the preestis of the secounde ordre, and to the porteris, that thei schulden caste out of the temple alle the vesselis, that weren maad to Baal, and in the wode, and to al the knyythod of heuene; and he brente tho vessels with out Jerusalem, in the euene valey of Cedron, and he bar the poudir of tho `vessels in to Bethel.

۵ 5 و کاهنان بتها را که پادشاهان یهودا تعیین نموده بودند تا در مکان های بلند شهرهای یهودا ونواحی اورشلیم بخور بسوزانند، و آنانی را که برای بعل و آفتاب و ماه و بروج و تمامی لشکرآسمان بخور می‌سوزانیدند، معزول کرد.

And he dide awei false dyuynours `that dyuynyden in the entrailis of beestis sacrified to idols, whiche the kingis of Juda hadden sett to make sacrifice in hiy thingis bi the citees of Juda, and in the cumpas of Jerusalem; and he dide awey hem that brenten encense to Baal, and to the sunne, and to the moone, and to twelue signes, and to al the knyythod of heuene.

۶ 6 واشیره را از خانه خداوند، بیرون از اورشلیم به وادی قدرون برد و آن را به کنار نهر قدرون سوزانید، و آن را مثل غبار، نرم ساخت و گرد آن را بر قبرهای عوام الناس پاشید.

And he made the wode to be borun out of the hows of the Lord without Jerusalem in the euene valey of Cedron, and he brente it there; and he droof it in to poudir, and castide it forth on the sepulcris of the comyn puple.

۷ 7 و خانه های لواط را که نزد خانه خداوند بود که زنان در آنهاخیمه‌ها به جهت اشیره می‌بافتند، خراب کرد.

Also he distriede the litle housis of `men turnyd into wommens condiciouns, whiche housis weren in the hows of the Lord; for whiche the wymmen `maden as litil howsis of the wode.

۸ 8 وتمامی کاهنان را از شهرهای یهودا آورد ومکانهای بلند را که کاهنان در آنها بخورمی سوزانیدند، از جبع تا بئرشبع نجس ساخت، ومکان های بلند دروازه‌ها را که نزد دهنه دروازه یهوشع، رئیس شهر، و به طرف چپ دروازه شهربود، منهدم ساخت.

And he gaderide alle the preestis fro the citees of Juda, and he defoulide the hiye thingis, where the preestis maden sacrifice, fro Gabaa `til to Bersabee; and he distriede the auters of yatis in the entryng of the dore of Josie, prince of a citee, which dore was at the lift half of the yate of the cytee.

۹ 9 لیکن کاهنان، مکانهای بلند، به مذبح خداوند در اورشلیم برنیامدند اما نان فطیر در میان برادران خود خوردند.

Netheles the preestis of hiye thingis stieden not to the auter of the Lord in Jerusalem, but oneli thei eten therf looues in the myddis of her britheren.

۱۰ 10 و توفت راکه در وادی بنی هنوم بود، نجس ساخت تا کسی پسر یا دختر خود را برای مولک از آتش نگذراند.

Also he defoulide Tophet, which is in the euene valey of the sone of Ennon, that no man schulde halewe his sone ether his douytir bi fier to Moloch.

۱۱ 11 و اسبهایی را که پادشاهان یهودا به آفتاب داده بودند که نزد حجره نتنملک خواجه‌سرا درپیرامون خانه بودند، از مدخل خانه خداوند دورکرد و ارابه های آفتاب را به آتش سوزانید.

Also he dide awei horsis, whiche the kyngis of Juda hadden youe to the sunne, in the entryng of the temple of the Lord, bisidis the chaumbir of Nathanmalech, geldyng, that was in Pharurym; forsothe he brente bi fier the charis of the sunne.

۱۲ 12 ومذبح هایی را که بر پشت بام بالاخانه آحاز بود وپادشاهان یهودا آنها را ساخته بودند، ومذبح هایی را که منسی در دو صحن خانه خداوندساخته بود، پادشاه منهدم ساخت و از آنجاخراب کرده، گرد آنها را در نهر قدرون پاشید.

Also the kyng distriede the auteris, that weren on the roouys of the soler of Achaz, whiche auteris the kyngis of Juda hadden maad; and the kyng distriede the auteris, whiche Manasses hadde maad in the twei grete placis of the temple of the Lord; and he ran fro thennus, and scateride the askis of tho in to the strond of Cedron.

۱۳ 13 و مکانهای بلند را که مقابل اورشلیم به طرف راست کوه فساد بود و سلیمان، پادشاه اسرائیل، آنها را برای اشتورت، رجاست صیدونیان و برای کموش، رجاست موآبیان، و برای ملکوم، رجاست بنی عمون، ساخته بود، پادشاه، آنها رانجس ساخت.

Also the kyng defoulide the hiye thingis, that weren in Jerusalem at the riyt part of the hil of offencioun, whiche Salomon, kyng of Israel, hadde bildid to Astroth, the ydol of Sidoneis, and to Chamos, the offencioun of Moab, and to Melchon, abhominacioun of the sones of Amon;

۱۴ 14 و تماثیل را خرد کرد و اشیریم را قطع نمود و جایهای آنها را از استخوانهای مردم پر ساخت.

and he al to-brak ymagis, and kittide doun wodis, and fillide the places of tho with the boonys of deed men.

۱۵ 15 و نیز مذبحی که در بیت ئیل بود و مکان بلندی که یربعام بن نباط که اسرائیل را مرتکب گناه ساخته، آن را بنا نموده بود، هم مذبح و هم مکان بلند را منهدم ساخت و مکان بلند راسوزانیده، آن را مثل غبار، نرم کرد و اشیره راسوزانید.

Ferthermore also he distriede the auter that was in Bethel, and `he distriede the hiye thing, which Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, hadde maad, that made Israel to do synne; and he distriede that hiy autir, and brente it, and al to brak it in to poudir, and kittide doun also the wode.

۱۶ 16 و یوشیا ملتفت شده، قبرها را که آنجا در کوه بود، دید. پس فرستاده، استخوانها رااز آن قبرها برداشت و آنها را بر آن مذبح سوزانیده، آن را نجس ساخت، به موجب کلام خداوند که آن مرد خدایی که از این امور اخبارنموده بود، به آن ندا درداد.

And Josias turnyde, and siy there sepulcris that weren in the hil; and he sente, and took the boonys fro the sepulcris, and brente tho on the auter, and defoulide it bi the word of the Lord, which word the man of God spak, that biforseide these wordis.

۱۷ 17 و پرسید: «این مجسمه‌ای که می‌بینم، چیست؟» مردان شهر وی را گفتند: «قبر مرد خدایی است که از یهودا آمده، به این کارهایی که تو بر مذبح بیت ئیل کرده‌ای، نداکرده بود.»

And the kyng seide, What is this biriel, which Y se? And the citeseyns of that citee answeriden to hym, It is the sepulcre of the man of God, that cam fro Juda, and biforseide these wordis, whiche thou hast doon on the auter of Bethel.

۱۸ 18 او گفت: «آن را واگذارید و کسی استخوانهای او را حرکت ندهد.» پس استخوانهای او را با استخوانهای آن نبی که ازسامره آمده بود، واگذاشتند.

And the kyng seide, Suffre ye hym; no man moue hise boonys. And hise boonys dwelliden vntouchid with the boones of the prophete, that cam fro Samarie.

۱۹ 19 و یوشیا تمامی خانه های مکان های بلند را نیز که در شهرهای سامره بود و پادشاهان اسرائیل آنها را ساخته، خشم (خداوند) را به هیجان آورده بودند، برداشت و با آنها موافق تمامی کارهایی که به بیت ئیل کرده بود، عمل نمود.

Ferthermore also Josias dide awei alle the templis of hiye thingis, that weren in the citees of Samarie, whiche the kyngis of Israel hadden maad to terre the Lord to ire; and he dide to tho templis bi alle thingis whiche he hadde do in Bethel.

۲۰ 20 و جمیع کاهنان مکان های بلند را که در آنجا بودند، بر مذبح هاکشت و استخوانهای مردم را بر آنها سوزانیده، به اورشلیم مراجعت کرد.

And he killide alle the preestis of hiye thingis, that weren there on the auteris, and he brente mennus boonus on tho auteris; and he turnede ayen to Jerusalem;

۲۱ 21 و پادشاه تمامی قوم را امر فرموده، گفت که «عید فصح را به نحوی که در این کتاب عهدمکتوب است، برای خدای خود نگاه دارید.»

and comaundide to al the puple, and seide, Make ye pask to `youre Lord God, vp that, that is writun in the book of this boond of pees.

۲۲ 22 به تحقیق فصحی مثل این فصح از ایام داورانی که بر اسرائیل داوری نمودند و در تمامی ایام پادشاهان اسرائیل و پادشاهان یهودا نگاه داشته نشد.

Forsothe sich pask was not maad, fro the daies of iugis that demyden Israel, and of alle daies of the kyngis of Israel and of Juda,

۲۳ 23 اما در سال هجدهم، یوشیا پادشاه، این فصح را برای خداوند در اورشلیم نگاه داشتند.

as this pask was maad to the Lord in Jerusalem in the eiytenthe yeer of kyng Josias.

۲۴ 24 و نیز یوشیا اصحاب اجنه و جادوگران وترافیم و بتها و تمام رجاسات را که در زمین یهوداو در اورشلیم پیدا شد، نابود ساخت تا سخنان تورات را که در کتابی که حلقیای کاهن در خانه خداوند یافته بود، به‌جا آورد.

But also Josias dide awei men hauynge fendis spekinge in her wombis, and false diuinouris in auteris, and `he dide awei the figuris of idols, and alle vnclennessis, and abhomynaciouns, that weren in the lond of Juda and in Jerusalem, that he schulde do the wordis of the lawe, that weren writun in the book, `which book Elchie, the preest, foond in the temple of the Lord.

۲۵ 25 و قبل از اوپادشاهی نبود که به تمامی دل و تمامی جان وتمامی قوت خود موافق تمامی تورات موسی به خداوند رجوع نماید، و بعد از او نیز مثل او ظاهر نشد.

No kyng bifor him was lijk hym, `that turnede ayen to the Lord in al his herte, and in al his soule, and in al his vertu, bi al the lawe of Moises; nether aftir hym roos ony lijk hym.

۲۶ 26 اما خداوند از حدت خشم عظیم خودبرنگشت زیرا که غضب او به‌سبب همه کارهایی که منسی خشم او را از آنها به هیجان آورده بود، بر یهودا مشتعل شد.

Netheles the Lord was not turned awei fro the ire of his greet veniaunce, bi which his strong veniaunce was wrooth ayens Juda, for the terryngis to ire by whiche Manasses hadde terrid hym to ire.

۲۷ 27 و خداوند گفت: «یهودارا نیز از نظر خود دور خواهم کرد چنانکه اسرائیل را دور کردم و این شهر اورشلیم را که برگزیدم و خانه‌ای را که گفتم اسم من در آنجاخواهد بود، ترک خواهم نمود.»

Therfor the Lord seide, Y schal do awei also Juda fro my face, as Y dide awei Israel; and Y schal caste awei this citee, which Y chees, Jerusalem, and the hows `of which Y seide, My name schal be there.

۲۸ 28 و بقیه وقایع یوشیا و هرچه کرد، آیا درکتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان یهودا مکتوب نیست؟

Forsothe the residue of wordis of Josias, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?

۲۹ 29 و در ایام او، فرعون نکوه، پادشاه مصر، بر پادشاه آشور به نهر فرات برآمد و یوشیای پادشاه به مقابل او برآمد و چون (فرعون ) او رادید، وی را در مجدو کشت.

In the daies of hym Farao Nechao, kyng of Egipt, stiede ayens the kyng of Assiriens, to the flood Eufrates; and Josias, kyng of Juda, yede in to metyng of hym, and Josias was slayn in Magedo, whanne he hadde seyn hym.

۳۰ 30 و خادمانش او رادر ارابه نهاده، از مجدو به اورشلیم، مرده آوردندو او را در قبرش دفن کردند و اهل زمین، یهوآحازبن یوشیا را گرفتند و او را مسح نموده، به‌جای پدرش به پادشاهی نصب کردند.

And `hise seruauntis baren hym deed fro Magedo, and brouyte him in to Jerusalem, and birieden hym in his sepulcre; and the puple of the lond took Joachaz, sone of Josias, and anoyntiden hym, and maden hym kyng for his fadir.

۳۱ 31 و یهوآحاز بیست و سه ساله بود که پادشاه شد و سه ماه در اورشلیم سلطنت نمود و اسم مادرش حموطل، دختر ارمیا از لبنه بود.

Joachaz was of thre and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Amychal, douyter of Jeremye of Lobna.

۳۲ 32 و اوآنچه را که در نظر خداوند ناپسند بود، موافق هرآنچه پدرانش کرده بودند، به عمل آورد.

And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which hise fadris hadden do.

۳۳ 33 وفرعون نکوه، او را در ربله، در زمین حمات، دربند نهاد تا در اورشلیم سلطنت ننماید و صد وزنه نقره و یک وزنه طلا بر زمین گذارد.

And Farao Nechao boond hym in Reblatha, which is in the lond of Emath, that he schulde not regne in Jerusalem; and he settide `peyne, ether raunsum, to the lond, in an hundrid talentis of siluer, and in a talent of gold.

۳۴ 34 و فرعون نکوه، الیاقیم بن یوشیا را به‌جای پدرش، یوشیا، به پادشاهی نصب کرد و اسمش را به یهویاقیم تبدیل نمود و یهوآحاز را گرفته، به مصر آمد. و اودر آنجا مرد.

And Farao Nechao made kyng Eliachim, sone of Josias, for Josias, his fadir; and he turnede the name of hym Joachym; forsothe Farao took Joachaz, and ledde hym in to Egipt.

۳۵ 35 و یهویاقیم، آن نقره و طلا را به فرعون داد اما زمین را تقویم کرد تا آن مبلغ راموافق فرمان فرعون بدهند و آن نقره و طلا را ازاهل زمین، از هرکس موافق تقویم او به زور گرفت تا آن را به فرعون نکوه بدهد.

Sotheli Joachym yaf siluer and gold to Farao, whanne he hadde comaundid to the lond bi alle yeeris, that it schulde be brouyt, bi the comaundement of Farao; and he reiside of ech man bi hise myytis bothe siluer and gold, of the puple of the lond, that he schulde yyue to Pharao Nechao.

۳۶ 36 یهویاقیم بیست و پنج ساله بود که پادشاه شد و یازده سال در اورشلیم سلطنت کرد و اسم مادرش زبیده، دختر فدایه، از رومه بود.

Joachym was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede eleuene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Zebida, douyter of Phadaia of Ruma.

۳۷ 37 وآنچه را که در نظر خداوند ناپسند بود موافق هرآنچه پدرانش کرده بودند، به عمل آورد.

And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which hise fadris hadden do.
