اول سموئیل 13
| و شاول (سی ) ساله بود که پادشاه شد. و چون دو سال بر اسرائیل سلطنت نموده بود، | ۱ 1 |
Saul [is] a son of [[thirty]] years in his reigning, and he has reigned over Israel [forty]-two years,
| شاول به جهت خود سه هزار نفر ازاسرائیل برگزید، و از ایشان دو هزار با شاول درمخماس و در کوه بیت ئیل بودند، و یک هزار بایوناتان در جبعه بنیامین. و اما هرکس از بقیه قوم رابه خیمه‌اش فرستاد. | ۲ 2 |
then Saul chooses for himself three thousand [men] out of Israel; and two thousand are with Saul in Michmash, and in the hill-country of Beth-El; and one thousand have been with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin; and he has sent each one of the remnant of the people to his tents.
| و یوناتان قراول فلسطینیان را که در جبعه بودند، شکست داد. و فلسطینیان این را شنیدند. و شاول در تمامی زمین کرنانواخته، گفت که «ای عبرانیان بشنوید!» | ۳ 3 |
And Jonathan strikes the garrison of the Philistines which [is] in Geba, and the Philistines hear, and Saul has blown with a horn through all the land, saying, “Let the Hebrews hear.”
| و چون تمامی اسرائیل شنیدند که شاول قراول فلسطینیان را شکست داده است، و اینکه اسرائیل نزد فلسطینیان مکروه شده‌اند، قوم نزد شاول درجلجال جمع شدند. | ۴ 4 |
And all Israel have heard, saying, “Saul has struck the garrison of the Philistines,” and also, “Israel has been abhorred by the Philistines”; and the people are called after Saul to Gilgal.
| و فلسطینیان سی هزار ارابه و شش هزارسوار و خلقی را که مثل ریگ کناره دریا بیشماربودند، جمع کردند تا با اسرائیل جنگ نمایند، وبرآمده، در مخماس به طرف شرقی بیت آون اردوزدند. | ۵ 5 |
And the Philistines have been gathered to fight with Israel; thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and a people as the sand which [is] on the seashore for multitude; and they come up and encamp in Michmash, east of Beth-Aven.
| و چون اسرائیلیان را دیدند که در تنگی هستند زیرا که قوم مضطرب بودند، پس ایشان خود را در مغاره‌ها و بیشه‌ها و گریوه‌ها و حفره هاو صخره‌ها پنهان کردند. | ۶ 6 |
And the men of Israel have seen that they are distressed, that the people have been oppressed, and the people hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
| و بعضی از عبرانیان ازاردن به زمین جاد و جلعاد عبور کردند. و شاول هنوز در جلجال بود و تمامی قوم در عقب او لرزان بودند. | ۷ 7 |
And Hebrews have passed over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead; and Saul [is] yet in Gilgal, and all the people have trembled after him.
| پس هفت روز موافق وقتی که سموئیل تعیین نموده بود، درنگ کرد. اما سموئیل به جلجال نیامد و قوم از او پراکنده می‌شدند. | ۸ 8 |
And he waits seven days, according to the appointment with Samuel, and Samuel has not come to Gilgal, and the people are scattered from off him.
| وشاول گفت: «قربانی سوختنی و ذبایح سلامتی رانزد من بیاورید.» و قربانی سوختنی را گذرانید. | ۹ 9 |
And Saul says, “Bring the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings near to me”; and he causes the burnt-offering to ascend.
| و چون از گذرانیدن قربانی سوختنی فارغ شد، اینک سموئیل برسید و شاول به جهت تحیتش، به استقبال وی بیرون آمد. | ۱۰ 10 |
And it comes to pass at his completing to cause the burnt-offering to ascend, that behold, Samuel has come, and Saul goes out to meet him, to bless him;
| و سموئیل گفت: «چه کردی؟» شاول گفت: «چون دیدم که قوم ازنزد من پراکنده می‌شوند و تو در روزهای معین نیامدی و فلسطینیان در مخماس جمع شده‌اند، | ۱۱ 11 |
and Samuel says, “What have you done?” And Saul says, “Because I saw that the people were scattered from off me, and you had not come at the appointment of the days, and the Philistines are gathered to Michmash,
| پس گفتم: الان فلسطینیان بر من در جلجال فرود خواهند آمد، و من رضامندی خداوند رانطلبیدم. پس خویشتن را مجبور ساخته، قربانی سوختنی را گذرانیدم.» | ۱۲ 12 |
and I say, Now the Philistines come down to me to Gilgal, and I have not appeased the face of YHWH; and I force myself, and cause the burnt-offering to ascend.”
| و سموئیل به شاول گفت: «احمقانه عمل نمودی و امری که یهوه خدایت به تو امر فرموده است، بجا نیاوردی، زیرا که حال خداوندسلطنت تو را بر اسرائیل تا به ابد برقرار می‌داشت. | ۱۳ 13 |
And Samuel says to Saul, “You have been foolish; you have not kept the command of your God YHWH, which He commanded you, for now YHWH had established your kingdom over Israel for all time;
| لیکن الان سلطنت تو استوار نخواهد ماند وخداوند به جهت خویش مردی موافق دل خودطلب نموده است، و خداوند او را مامور کرده است که پیشوای قوم وی باشد، چونکه تو فرمان خداوند را نگاه نداشتی.» | ۱۴ 14 |
and now, your kingdom does not stand, YHWH has sought [for] a man for Himself according to His own heart, and YHWH charges him for leader over His people, for you have not kept that which YHWH commanded you.”
| و سموئیل برخاسته، از جلجال به جبعه بنیامین آمد. | ۱۵ 15 |
And Samuel rises, and goes up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin; and Saul inspects the people who are found with him, about six hundred men,
| و شاول و پسرش یوناتان و قومی که با ایشان حاضر بودند در جبعه بنیامین ماندند، و فلسطینیان در مخماس اردو زدند. | ۱۶ 16 |
and Saul, and his son Jonathan, and the people who are found with them, are abiding in Gibeah of Benjamin, and the Philistines have encamped in Michmash.
| و تاراج کنندگان از اردوی فلسطینیان در سه فرقه بیرون آمدند که یک فرقه از ایشان به راه عفره به زمین شوعال توجه نمودند. | ۱۷ 17 |
And the destroyer goes out from the camp of the Philistines—three detachments: one detachment turns to the way of Ophrah, to the land of Shual,
| و فرقه دیگر به راه بیت حورون میل کردند. و فرقه سوم به راه حدی که مشرف بر دره صبوعیم به‌جانب بیابان است، توجه نمودند. | ۱۸ 18 |
and one detachment turns the way of Beth-Horon, and one detachment turns the way of the border which is looking on the Valley of the Zeboim, toward the wilderness.
| و در تمام زمین اسرائیل آهنگری یافت نمی شد، زیرا که فلسطینیان می‌گفتند: «مباداعبرانیان برای خود شمشیر یا نیزه بسازند.» | ۱۹ 19 |
And a craftsman is not found in all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make sword or spear”;
| وجمیع اسرائیلیان نزد فلسطینیان فرود می‌آمدند تاهر کس بیل و گاوآهن و تبر و داس خود را تیزکند. | ۲۰ 20 |
and all Israel goes down to the Philistines, to each sharpen his plowshare, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock;
| اما به جهت بیل و گاوآهن و چنگال سه دندانه و تبر و برای تیز کردن آهن گاوران سوهان داشتند. | ۲۱ 21 |
and there has been the file for mattocks, and for coulters, and for three-pronged rakes, and for the axes, and to set up the goads.
| و در روز جنگ، شمشیر و نیزه دردست تمامی قومی که با شاول و یوناتان بودندیافت نشد، اما نزد شاول و پسرش یوناتان بود. | ۲۲ 22 |
And it has been, in the day of battle, that there has not been found a sword and spear in the hand of any of the people who [are] with Saul and with Jonathan—but it is found with Saul and with his son Jonathan.
| و قراول فلسطینیان به معبر مخماس بیرون آمدند. | ۲۳ 23 |
And the station of the Philistines goes out to the passage of Michmash.
