اول سموئیل 10
| پس سموئیل ظرف روغن را گرفته، برسر وی ریخت و او را بوسیده، گفت: «آیا این نیست که خداوند تو را مسح کرد تا برمیراث او حاکم شوی؟ | ۱ 1 |
Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not that Jehovah hath anointed thee to be prince over his inheritance?
| امروز بعد از رفتنت ازنزد من دو مرد، نزد قبر راحیل به‌سرحد بنیامین درصلصح خواهی یافت، و تو را خواهند گفت: الاغهایی که برای جستن آنها رفته بودی، پیداشده است و اینک پدرت فکر الاغها را ترک کرده، به فکر شما افتاده است، و می‌گوید به جهت پسرم چکنم. | ۲ 2 |
When thou art departed from me to-day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre, in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found; and, lo, thy father hath left off caring for the asses, and is anxious for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
| چون از آنجا پیش رفتی و نزد بلوط تابوررسیدی در آنجا سه مرد خواهی یافت که به حضور خدا به بیت ئیل می‌روند که یکی از آنها سه بزغاله دارد، و دیگری سه قرص نان، و سومی یک مشگ شراب. | ۳ 3 |
Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the oak of Tabor; and there shall meet thee there three men going up to God to Beth-el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
| و سلامتی تو را خواهند پرسید ودو نان به تو خواهندداد که از دست ایشان خواهی گرفت. | ۴ 4 |
and they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread, which thou shalt receive of their hand.
| بعد از آن به جبعه خدا که در آنجا قراول فلسطینیان است خواهی آمد، و چون در آنجانزدیک شهر برسی گروهی از انبیا که از مکان بلندبه زیر می‌آیند و در‌پیش ایشان چنگ و دف و نای و بربط بوده، نبوت می‌کنند، به تو خواهندبرخورد. | ۵ 5 |
After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a timbrel, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they will be prophesying:
| و روح خداوند بر تو مستولی شده، باایشان نبوت خواهی نمود، و به مرد دیگر متبدل خواهی شد. | ۶ 6 |
and the Spirit of Jehovah will come mightily upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
| و هنگامی که این علامات به تورونماید، هرچه دستت یابد بکن زیرا خدا باتوست. | ۷ 7 |
And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion shall serve thee; for God is with thee.
| و پیش من به جلجال برو و اینک من برای گذرانیدن قربانی های سوختنی و ذبح نمودن ذبایح سلامتی نزد تو می‌آیم، و هفت روز منتظرباش تا نزد تو بیایم و تو را اعلام نمایم که چه بایدکرد.» | ۸ 8 |
And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt-offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come unto thee, and show thee what thou shalt do.
| و چون رو گردانید تا از نزد سموئیل برود، خدا او را قلب دیگر داد. و در آن روز جمیع این علامات واقع شد. | ۹ 9 |
And it was so, that, when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
| و چون آنجا به جبعه رسیدند، اینک گروهی از انبیا به وی برخوردند، وروح خدا بر او مستولی شده، در میان ایشان نبوت می‌کرد. | ۱۰ 10 |
And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them.
| و چون همه کسانی که او را پیشترمی شناختند، دیدند که اینک با انبیا نبوت می‌کند، مردم به یکدیگر گفتند: «این چیست که با پسرقیس واقع شده است، آیا شاول نیز از‌جمله انبیااست؟» | ۱۱ 11 |
And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
| و یکی از حاضرین در جواب گفت: «اما پدر ایشان کیست؟» از این جهت مثل شد که آیا شاول نیز از‌جمله انبیا است. | ۱۲ 12 |
And one of the same place answered and said, And who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
| و چون ازنبوت کردن فارغ شد به مکان بلند آمد. | ۱۳ 13 |
And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
| و عموی شاول به او و به خادمش گفت: «کجا رفته بودید؟» او در جواب گفت: «برای جستن الاغها و چون دیدیم که نیستند، نزدسموئیل رفتیم.» | ۱۴ 14 |
And Saul’s uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses; and when we saw that they were not found, we came to Samuel.
| عموی شاول گفت: «مرا بگوکه سموئیل به شما چه گفت؟» | ۱۵ 15 |
And Saul’s uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.
| شاول به عموی خود گفت: «ما را واضح خبر داد که الاغها پیداشده است.» لیکن درباره امر سلطنت که سموئیل به او گفته بود، او را مخبر نساخت. | ۱۶ 16 |
And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But concerning the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
| و سموئیل قوم را در مصفه به حضورخداوند خواند | ۱۷ 17 |
And Samuel called the people together unto Jehovah to Mizpah;
| و به بنی‌اسرائیل گفت: «یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، چنین می‌گوید: من اسرائیل را ازمصر برآوردم، و شما از دست مصریان و از دست جمیع ممالکی که بر شما ظلم نمودند، رهایی دادم. | ۱۸ 18 |
and he said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all the kingdoms that oppressed you:
| و شما امروز خدای خود را که شما را ازتمامی بدیها و مصیبت های شما رهانید، اهانت کرده، او را گفتید: پادشاهی بر ما نصب نما، پس الان با اسباط و هزاره های خود به حضور خداوندحاضر شوید.» | ۱۹ 19 |
but ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saveth you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and ye have said unto him, [Nay], but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before Jehovah by your tribes, and by your thousands.
| و چون سموئیل جمیع اسباط اسرائیل راحاضر کرد، سبط بنیامین گرفته شد. | ۲۰ 20 |
So Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
| و سبطبنیامین را با قبایل ایشان نزدیک آورد، و قبیله مطری گرفته شد. و شاول پسر قیس گرفته شد، وچون او را طلبیدند، نیافتند. | ۲۱ 21 |
And he brought the tribe of Benjamin near by their families; and the family of the Matrites was taken; and Saul the son of Kish was taken: but when they sought him, he could not be found.
| پس بار دیگر ازخداوند سوال کردند که آیا آن مرد به اینجا دیگرخواهد آمد؟ خداوند در جواب گفت: «اینک اوخود را در میان اسبابها پنهان کرده است.» | ۲۲ 22 |
Therefore they asked of Jehovah further, Is there yet a man to come hither? And Jehovah answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the baggage.
| ودویده، او را از آنجا آوردند، و چون در میان قوم بایستاد، از تمامی قوم از کتف به بالا بلندتر بود. | ۲۳ 23 |
And they ran and fetched him thence; and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.
| و سموئیل به تمامی قوم گفت: «آیا شخصی راکه خداوند برگزیده است ملاحظه نمودید که درتمامی قوم مثل او کسی نیست؟» و تمامی قوم صدا زده، گفتند: «پادشاه زنده بماند!» | ۲۴ 24 |
And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom Jehovah hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, [Long] live the king.
| پس سموئیل رسوم سلطنت را به قوم بیان کرده، در کتاب نوشت، و آن را به حضور خداوندگذاشت. و سموئیل هرکس از تمامی قوم را به خانه‌اش روانه نمود. | ۲۵ 25 |
Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before Jehovah. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.
| و شاول نیز به خانه خودبه جبعه رفت و فوجی از کسانی که خدا دل ایشان را برانگیخت همراه وی رفتند. | ۲۶ 26 |
And Saul also went to his house to Gibeah; and there went with him the host, whose hearts God had touched.
| اما بعضی پسران بلیعال گفتند: «این شخص چگونه ما رابرهاند؟» و او را حقیر شمرده، هدیه برایش نیاوردند. اما او هیچ نگفت. | ۲۷ 27 |
But certain worthless fellows said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no present. But he held his peace.
