ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 82

1 ੧ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,

A Psalm of Asaph. God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods:

2 ੨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦ ਤੋੜੀ ਟੇਡਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਕਰੋਗੇ? ਸਲਹ।

“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?

3 ੩ ਨਿਤਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਤੀਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ, ਮਸਕੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ।

Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.

4 ੪ ਨਿਤਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਓ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਓ।

Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.

5 ੫ ਓਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੀਂਹਾਂ ਡੋਲ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 ੬ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਭੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋ।

I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’

7 ੭ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਓਗੇ!

But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”

8 ੮ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉੱਠ, ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਬਣਾਵੇਂਗਾ।

Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.
