< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 73 >

1 ੧ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਲਈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਖਾਲ਼ਸ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ।
A PSALM OF ASAPH. Surely God [is] good to Israel, to the clean of heart. And I—as a little thing, My feet have been turned aside,
2 ੨ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਫਿਸਲਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਦਮ ਤਿਲਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਸਨ।
As nothing, my steps have slipped, For I have been envious of the boastful,
3 ੩ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਲੱਖਪੁਣਾ ਡਿੱਠਾ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੰਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੁਣਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
I see the peace of the wicked, That there are no bands at their death,
4 ੪ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਪੀੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਮੋਟਾ ਹੈ।
And their might [is] firm.
5 ੫ ਓਹ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਔਖੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਨਾ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
They are not in the misery of mortals, And they are not plagued with common men.
6 ੬ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਘਮੰਡ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਦੀ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਦਾ ਲੀੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ।
Therefore pride has encircled them, Violence covers them as a dress.
7 ੭ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਚਿਕਨਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਫੁੱਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਛਲਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
Their eye has come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed;
8 ੮ ਓਹ ਠੱਠਾ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, They speak from on high.
9 ੯ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਿਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
They have set their mouth in the heavens, And their tongue walks in the earth.
10 ੧੦ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਇੱਧਰ ਮੁੜਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਛੰਨ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡੱਫਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Therefore His people return here, And waters of fullness are wrung out to them.
11 ੧੧ ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ? ਭਲਾ, ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ?
And they have said, “How has God known? And is there knowledge in the Most High?”
12 ੧੨ ਵੇਖੋ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਇਹ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਸਦਾ ਸੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਧੰਨ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ!।
Behold, these [are] the wicked and easy ones of the age, They have increased strength.
13 ੧੩ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਅਵਿਰਥਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲਤਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਧੋਤੇ ਹਨ,
Only—a vain thing! I have purified my heart, And I wash my hands in innocence,
14 ੧੪ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਹੋਈ।
And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof—every morning.
15 ੧੫ ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ।
If I have said, “I recount thus,” Behold, I have deceived a generation of Your sons.
16 ੧੬ ਜਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਸੋਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਮਲੂਮ ਹੋਇਆ,
And I think to know this, It [is] perverseness in my eyes,
17 ੧੭ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ, - ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਸਮਝਿਆ!
Until I come into the sanctuaries of God, I attend to their latter end.
18 ੧੮ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਲਕਣਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ!
Surely You set them in slippery places, You have caused them to fall to desolations.
19 ੧੯ ਓਹ ਛਿੰਨ ਮਾਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਉੱਜੜ ਗਏ! ਓਹ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਏ, ਓਹ ਭੈਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ!
How they have become a desolation as in a moment, They have been ended—consumed from terrors.
20 ੨੦ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਗਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਉੱਠੇਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣੇਂਗਾ।
As a dream from awakening, O Lord, In awaking, You despise their image.
21 ੨੧ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤਾਂ ਕੌੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਛੇਦਿਆ ਗਿਆ,
For my heart shows itself violent, And my reins prick themselves,
22 ੨੨ ਮੈਂ ਐਡਾ ਜਾਹਲ ਤੇ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਸੀ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਣਿਆ।
And I am brutish, and do not know. I have been a beast with You.
23 ੨੩ ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ।
And I [am] continually with You, You have laid hold on my right hand.
24 ੨੪ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰਮਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ।
You lead me with Your counsel, And after, receive me [to] glory.
25 ੨੫ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
Whom do I have in the heavens? And none have I desired in earth [besides] You.
26 ੨੬ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਢੱਲ਼ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੈ।
My flesh and my heart have been consumed, God [is] the rock of my heart and my portion for all time.
27 ੨੭ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਜੋ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹਨ ਓਹ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰੀ ਗਰਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ!
For behold, those far from You perish, You have cut off everyone, Who is going whoring from You.
28 ੨੮ ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਾਂ।
And [the] nearness of God to me [is] good, I have placed my refuge in Lord YHWH, To recount all Your works!
