1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਭਜਨ, ਗੀਤ। ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਲਲਕਾਰੋ,
To the victorie, the song of salm.
2 ੨ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰੋ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ!
Al the erthe, make ye ioie hertli to God, seie ye salm to his name; yyue ye glorie to his heriyng.
3 ੩ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ, ਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੇਡੇ ਡਰਾਉਣੇ ਹਨ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਾਂ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਿਚਕ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ!
Seie ye to God, Lord, thi werkis ben dredeful; in the multitude of thi vertu thin enemyes schulen lie to thee.
4 ੪ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ, ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ। ਸਲਹ।
God, al the erthe worschipe thee, and synge to thee; seie it salm to thi name.
5 ੫ ਆਓ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ, ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ।
Come ye and se ye the werkis of God; ferdful in counseils on the sones of men.
6 ੬ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਥਲ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਓਹ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਲੰਘ ਗਏ, ਉੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋਏ।
Which turnede the see in to drie lond; in the flood thei schulen passe with foot, there we schulen be glad in hym.
7 ੭ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਆਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਰ ਨਾ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ!। ਸਲਹ।
Which is Lord in his vertu withouten ende, hise iyen biholden on folkis; thei that maken scharp be not enhaunsid in hem silf.
8 ੮ ਹੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖੋ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾਓ,
Ye hethen men, blesse oure God; and make ye herd the vois of his preising.
9 ੯ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੋਲਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
That hath set my soule to lijf, and yaf not my feet in to stiryng.
10 ੧੦ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਤਾਉਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
For thou, God, hast preued vs; thou hast examyned vs bi fier, as siluer is examyned.
11 ੧੧ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੱਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਾਢਾ ਭਾਰ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ!
Thou leddist vs in to a snare, thou puttidist tribulaciouns in oure bak;
12 ੧੨ ਤੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘੇ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਆ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
thou settidist men on oure heedis. We passiden bi fier and water; and thou leddist vs out in to refreschyng.
13 ੧੩ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖਣਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ,
I schal entre in to thin hous in brent sacrifices; Y schal yelde to thee my vowis,
14 ੧੪ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ।
which my lippis spaken distinctly. And my mouth spake in my tribulacioun;
15 ੧੫ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੋਟੇ-ਮੋਟੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਤ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਧੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਸਲਹ।
Y shal offre to thee brent sacrificis ful of merowy, with the brennyng of rammes; Y schal offre to thee oxis with buckis of geet.
16 ੧੬ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭੈਅ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਆਓ, ਸੁਣੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Alle ye that dreden God, come and here, and Y schal telle; hou grete thingis he hath do to my soule.
17 ੧੭ ਮੈਂ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹਿਆ।
I criede to hym with my mouth; and Y ioyede fulli vndir my tunge.
18 ੧੮ ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨਾ ਸੁਣਦਾ।
If Y bihelde wickidnesse in myn herte; the Lord schal not here.
19 ੧੯ ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
Therfor God herde; and perseyuede the vois of my bisechyng.
20 ੨੦ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ।
Blessid be God; that remeued not my preyer, and `took not awei his merci fro me.
