< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 63 >

1 ੧ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਂ ਦਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਤਿਹਾਈ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤਰਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੁੱਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਜਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
God, you are the God whom I [worship]. I greatly desire to be with you like [SIL] a person in a dry hot desert greatly desires [some cool water].
2 ੨ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਪਾਇਆ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵੇਖਾਂ।
So, I want to see you in your temple; I want to see that you are great and glorious.
3 ੩ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
Your constantly loving [me] is (worth more/more precious) than [my] life, so I [MTY] will [always] praise you.
4 ੪ ਸੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਪਸਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.
5 ੫ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚਰਬੀ ਤੇ ਥਿੰਧਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ,
[Knowing you satisfies me more than] [IDM, MET] my eating a very big feast, [so] I will praise you while I sing [MTY] joyful songs.
6 ੬ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਛਾਉਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,
7 ੭ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਮੈਂ ਜੈਕਾਰੇ ਗਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you [as a little bird is protected] under [its mother’s] wings [MET].
8 ੮ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ-ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.
9 ੯ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
But those who are trying to kill me will [die and] descend into the place of the dead;
10 ੧੦ ਓਹ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਓਹ ਗਿੱਦੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ।
they will be killed in battles [MTY] and their [corpses] will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.
11 ੧੧ ਪਰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮਾਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਛਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
But I, the king [of Israel], will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.
