ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 58
1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਲ-ਤਸ਼ਹੇਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਸਕੋ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹੋ? ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?
“To the chief musician Al-tashcheth, by David, a Michtham.” Do you indeed, who are dumb, speak righteously? do ye judge in uprightness, O ye sons of men?
Even in [your] heart ye work injustice: on the earth do ye weigh out the violence of your hands.
The wicked are estranged [from goodness] from the womb: those who speak lies go astray from their very birth.
They have poison like the poison of a serpent: [they are] like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
Which will not hearken to the voice of conjurers, yea, that of the wisest of all charmers.
6 ੬ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਜੁਆਨ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਾੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਟ ਸੁੱਟ।
O God, break out their teeth in their mouth: the jaw-teeth of the young lions tear thou out, O Lord.
Let them melt away as water [which] runneth off: when each one bendeth [his bow to shoot] his arrows, let them be as if cut in pieces.
8 ੮ ਓਹ ਘੋਗੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਜੋ ਗਲ਼ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਗਰਭਪਾਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਜਿਸ ਸੂਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ!
As a snail which melteth, let him pass away; like the untimely birth of a woman which hath not seen the sun.
9 ੯ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਦੇਗਾਂ ਛਾਪਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੱਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ, ਉਹ ਜਲੇ, ਅਣਜਲੇ, ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਡਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
Before your pots can feel the thorns, will he take them away with a whirlwind, both the green and the burning.
The righteous will rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he will bathe his steps in the blood of the wicked.
11 ੧੧ ਤਦ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਖੇਗਾ, ਧਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਫਲ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ ਹੀ, ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ!
So that a man shall say, Verily fruit will come for the righteous: verily there is a God that judgeth on the earth.
