ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 5

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਬੰਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਲਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੂੰਗਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰ।

“To the chief musician upon Nechiloth, a psalm of David.” To my words give ear, O Lord, have regard to my mediation.

2 ੨ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

Listen unto the voice of my loud cry, my King, and my God, when unto thee I pray.

3 ੩ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

O Lord! in the morning do thou hear my voice: in the morning will I set in order [my prayer] before thee, and 1ook up with hope.

4 ੪ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੇਂ, ਬਦੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ।

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil cannot abide with thee.

5 ੫ ਘਮੰਡੀ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਬਦਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ।

The arrogant cannot stand up before thy eyes: thou hatest all workers of wickedness.

6 ੬ ਤੂੰ ਝੂਠ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਛਲੀਏ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Thou wilt destroy those that speak lies: the man of blood and deceit the Lord abhorreth.

7 ੭ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਦਯਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਾਂਗਾ।

But as for me—in the abundance of thy kindness will I enter thy house: I will bow myself down before thy holy temple in the fear of thee.

8 ੮ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਘਾਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਹ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਕਰ,

O Lord, lead me in thy righteousness because of those that regard me enviously; make straight before me thy way.

9 ੯ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਘ ਖੁੱਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਬਰ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜੀਭਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਲ-ਛਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

For there is not in their mouth any sincerity; their inward part is full of deception; an open sepulchre is their throat: they flatter with their tongue.

10 ੧੦ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਿਦਰੋਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

Condemn them, O God: let them fall through their own counsels; for the multitude of their transgressions cast them down; for they have rebelled against thee.

11 ੧੧ ਪਰ ਸਭ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਏ ਹਨ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਣ।

Then will rejoice all those that put their trust in thee; for ever will they shout for joy, when thou protectest them: and then will exult in thee those that love thy name.

12 ੧੨ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰੀਂ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ।

For thou wilt bless the righteous, O Lord; as with a shield wilt thou encompass him with favor.
