< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 49 >

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਇਹ ਸੁਣੋ, ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਾਸੀਓ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਓ!
To victorie, a salm to the sones of Chore. Alle ye folkis, here these thingis; alle ye that dwellen in the world, perseyue with eeris.
2 ੨ ਕੀ ਊਚ, ਕੀ ਨੀਚ, ਧਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ।
Alle the sones of erthe and the sones of men; togidere the riche man and the pore in to oon.
3 ੩ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੁੱਧ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਣਗੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Mi mouth schal speke wisdom; and the thenkyng of myn herte schal speke prudence.
4 ੪ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵੱਲ ਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਬਰਬਤ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੇਤ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ।
I schal bouwe doun myn eere in to a parable; Y schal opene my resoun set forth in a sautree.
5 ੫ ਬੁਰੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਡਰਾਂ, ਜਦ ਧੋਖੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ?
Whi schal Y drede in the yuel dai? the wickidnesse of myn heele schal cumpasse me.
6 ੬ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਨ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤਾਇਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੁੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ,
Whiche tristen in her owne vertu; and han glorie in the multitude of her richessis.
7 ੭ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ, ਨਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ,
A brother ayenbieth not, schal a man ayenbie? and he schal not yyue to God his plesyng.
8 ੮ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਮਹਿੰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਅਸਾਧ ਹੈ,
And he schal not yyue the prijs of raunsum of his soule; and he schal trauele with outen ende,
9 ੯ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਨੰਤ ਕਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇ।
and he schal lyue yit in to the ende.
10 ੧੦ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਮਰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਤੇ ਖਚਰਾ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
He schal not se perischyng, whanne he schal se wise men diynge; the vnwise man and fool schulen perische togidere. And thei schulen leeue her richessis to aliens;
11 ੧੧ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਹ ਭੁਲੇਖਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੂਮੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
and the sepulcris of hem ben the housis of hem with outen ende. The tabernaclis of hem ben in generacioun and generacioun; thei clepiden her names in her londis.
12 ੧੨ ਪਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਿਕੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਡੰਗਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
A man, whanne he was in honour, vndurstood not; he is comparisound to vnwise beestis, and he is maad lijk to tho.
13 ੧੩ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਚਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਲਹ।
This weie of hem is sclaundir to hem; and aftirward thei schulen plese togidere in her mouth.
14 ੧੪ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੌਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਲ਼ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਨਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ। (Sheol h7585)
As scheep thei ben set in helle; deth schal gnawe hem. And iust men schulen be lordis of hem in the morewtid; and the helpe of hem schal wexe eld in helle, for the glorie of hem. (Sheol h7585)
15 ੧੫ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਸਲਹ। (Sheol h7585)
Netheles God schal ayenbie my soule from the power of helle; whanne he schal take me. (Sheol h7585)
16 ੧੬ ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਡਰ ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਧਨੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਵਧ ਜਾਵੇ,
Drede thou not, whanne a man is maad riche; and the glorie of his hows is multiplied.
17 ੧੭ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਉੱਤਰੇਗਾ,
For whanne he schal die, he schal not take alle thingis; and his glorie schal not go doun with him.
18 ੧੮ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਜੀਅ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਦਾ, - ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਲਾ ਕਰੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹੁਣਗੇ, -
For his soule schal be blessid in his lijf; he schal knouleche to thee, whanne thou hast do wel to hym.
19 ੧੯ ਤਦ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਰਲੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਚਾਨਣ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ।
He schal entre til in to the generaciouns of hise fadris; and til in to with outen ende he schal not se liyt.
20 ੨੦ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ, ਉਹ ਡੰਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ!
