ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 37

1 ੧ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਬੁਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਾ ਕੁੜ੍ਹ, ਕੁਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਾ ਸੜ।

Of David - may not you fret yourself in the evil-doers may not you be jealous of [those who] do unrighteousness.

2 ੨ ਓਹ ਤਾਂ ਘਾਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਗ ਪੱਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੁਰਝਾ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

For like grass quickly they will wither and like [the] greenery of vegetation they will fade!

3 ੩ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਕਰ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਲ।

Trust in Yahweh and do good dwell [the] land and graze faithfulness.

4 ੪ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਰਹਿ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਨੋਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

And take delight on Yahweh so he may give to you [the] requests of heart your.

5 ੫ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

Roll on Yahweh way your and rely on him and he he will act.

6 ੬ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਮਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

And he will bring forth like the light righteousness your and justice your like the noontide.

7 ੭ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਰਹਿ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਰੱਖ, ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਾ ਕੁੜ੍ਹ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜੁਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Be still - to Yahweh and wait longingly for him may not you fret yourself in [one who] makes prosperous way his in a person [who] makes plots.

8 ੮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਪ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦੇ, ਨਾ ਕੁੜ੍ਹ - ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਹੀ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੀ ਹੈ

Refrain from anger and forsake rage may not you fret yourself only to do evil.

9 ੯ ਕੁਕਰਮੀ ਤਾਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

For evil-doers they will be cut off! and [those who] wait for Yahweh they they will possess [the] land.

10 ੧੦ ਹੁਣ ਥੋੜਾ ਹੀ ਚਿਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖੇਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

And yet a little and there not [will be the] wicked and you will look carefully on place his and there not [will be] he.

11 ੧੧ ਪਰ ਹਲੀਮ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

And humble [people] they will possess [the] land and they will take delight on abundance of well-being.

12 ੧੨ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਧਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੰਦ ਕਰੀਚਦਾ ਹੈ।

[is] plotting [the] wicked To the righteous and [is] gnashing towards him teeth his.

13 ੧੩ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।

[the] Lord He laughs to him for he sees that it will come day his.

14 ੧੪ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਧੂਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਖਿੱਚਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਸਕੀਨ ਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਗ ਦੇਣ, ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਚਾਲ-ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨੋਂ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਣ।

A sword - they have drawn wicked [people] and they have bent bow their to make fall [the] poor and [the] needy to slaughter [people] upright of way.

15 ੧੫ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੱਸੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਭੰਨੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

Sword their it will go in own heart their and bows their they will be broken.

16 ੧੬ ਧਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਥੋੜਾ ਕਈਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ।

[is] good [the] little Of the righteous more than [the] wealth of wicked [people] many.

17 ੧੭ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਭੰਨੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

For [the] arms of wicked [people] they will be broken and [is] sustaining righteous [people] Yahweh.

18 ੧੮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਖਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

[is] knowing Yahweh [the] days of blameless [people] and inheritance their for ever it will be.

19 ੧੯ ਉਹ ਬੁਰੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਹ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਣਗੇ।

Not they will be ashamed in a time evil and in days of famine they will be satisfied.

20 ੨੦ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਘਾਹ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

For wicked [people] - they will perish and [the] enemies of Yahweh [will be] like a splendid [thing] of pastures they will come to an end in smoke they will come to an end.

21 ੨੧ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਉਧਾਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੋੜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

[is] borrowing [the] wicked And not he repays and [the] righteous [is] showing favor and giving.

22 ੨੨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਲੋਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਰਾਪੀ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

For blessed [ones] his they will possess [the] land and cursed [ones] his they will be cut off.

23 ੨੩ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

From Yahweh [the] steps of a man they are established and way his he delights in.

24 ੨੪ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਡਿੱਗ ਵੀ ਪਵੇ ਪਰ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

For he will fall not he will be thrown down for Yahweh [is] supporting hand his.

25 ੨੫ ਮੈਂ ਜੁਆਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਧਰਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਨਾ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਟੁੱਕੜੇ ਮੰਗਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ।

A young man - I have been also I am old and not I have seen [the] righteous forsaken and offspring his seeking food.

26 ੨੬ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਧਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੈ।

All the day [he is] showing favor and [he is] lending and offspring his [become] a blessing.

27 ੨੭ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ, ਭਲਿਆਈ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਸ।

Turn away from evil and do good and dwell for ever.

28 ੨੮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਛੇਕੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

For Yahweh - [is] loving justice and not he will abandon faithful [people] his for ever they are preserved and [the] offspring of wicked [people] it is cut off.

29 ੨੯ ਧਰਮੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ।

Righteous [people] they will possess [the] land so they may dwell for ever on it.

30 ੩੦ ਧਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜੁਬਾਨ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

[the] mouth of [the] righteous It utters wisdom and tongue his it speaks justice.

31 ੩੧ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਕਦੀ ਨਾ ਤਿਲਕਣਗੇ।

[the] law of God his [is] in heart his not it slips steps his.

32 ੩੨ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਧਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਤਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨੋਂ ਮਾਰੇ।

[is] watching A wicked [person] for righteous [person] and [is] seeking to kill him.

33 ੩੩ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇਗਾ।

Yahweh not he will abandon him in hand his and not he will condemn as guilty him when is judged he.

34 ੩੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਬਣੇਂ। ਤੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਛੇਕਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਵੇਖੇਂਗਾ।

Wait to Yahweh - and keep way his and he will exalt you to possess [the] land when are cut off wicked [people] you will see.

35 ੩੫ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਆਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿੱਜ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਹਰੇ ਭਰੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਫੈਲਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ।

I have seen a wicked [person] ruthless and spreading himself like a native tree luxuriant.

36 ੩੬ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੰਘ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੱਭਾ ਹੀ ਨਾ।

And he passed away and there! there not [was] he and I sought him and not he was found.

37 ੩੭ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖ, ਕਿ ਸਲਾਮਤੀ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Watch [the] blameless and see [the] upright for a future [belongs] to a person of peace.

38 ੩੮ ਪਰ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੀ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਛੇਕੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ!

And transgressors they will be destroyed altogether [the] future of wicked [people] it will be cut off.

39 ੩੯ ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ,

And [the] salvation of righteous [people] [is] from Yahweh place of refuge their in a time of trouble.

40 ੪੦ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਛੁਡਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਉਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਏ ਹਨ।

And he helped them Yahweh and he delivered them he delivers them from wicked [people] and he saves them for they have taken refuge in him.
