< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 33 >

1 ੧ ਹੇ ਧਰਮੀਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ, ਖ਼ਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਫੱਬਦੀ ਹੈ।
A Psalm of David. Exult in the Lord, you just ones; together praise the upright.
2 ੨ ਬਰਬਤ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ, ਦਸ ਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਿਤਾਰ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਗਾਓ।
Confess to the Lord with stringed instruments; sing psalms to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.
3 ੩ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ, ਉੱਚੀ ਸੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁਰ ਤਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਵਜਾਓ।
Sing to him a new song. Sing psalms to him skillfully, with loud exclamation.
4 ੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are in faith.
5 ੫ ਉਹ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ।
He loves mercy and judgment. The earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
6 ੬ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਵੱਸੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਸ ਨਾਲ
By the word of the Lord, the heavens were established, and all their power, by the Spirit of his mouth:
7 ੭ ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਡੂੰਘਿਆਂ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
gathering together the waters of the sea, as if in a container, placing the depths in storage.
8 ੮ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੇ, ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਮੰਨਣ,
Let all the earth fear the Lord, and may all the inhabitants of the world quake before him.
9 ੯ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।
For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
10 ੧੦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਰਥ ਕਰਦਾ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੁਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Lord scatters the counsels of the nations. Moreover, he reproves the thoughts of the people, and he rejects the counsels of the leaders.
11 ੧੧ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ।
But the counsel of the Lord remains for eternity, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.
12 ੧੨ ਧੰਨ ਉਹ ਕੌਮ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਰਜਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਲਈ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ!
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his inheritance.
13 ੧੩ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Lord has looked down from heaven. He has seen all the sons of men.
14 ੧੪ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸੇਬੇ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
From his well-prepared dwelling place, he has gazed upon all who dwell on the earth.
15 ੧੫ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਰਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ।
He has formed the hearts of each one of them; he understands all their works.
16 ੧੬ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਨਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਛੁੱਟ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
The king is not saved by great power, nor will the giant be saved by his many powers.
17 ੧੭ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਘੋੜਾ ਤਾਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
The horse is false safety; for he will not be saved by the abundance of his powers.
18 ੧੮ ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ,
Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him and on those who hope in his mercy,
19 ੧੯ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਉਂਦਿਆ ਰੱਖੇ।
so as to rescue their souls from death and to feed them during famine.
20 ੨੦ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੋ ਸਾਡਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਹੈ।
Our soul remains with the Lord. For he is our helper and protector.
21 ੨੧ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
For in him, our heart will rejoice, and in his holy name, we have hoped.
22 ੨੨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ।
Let your mercy be upon us, O Lord, just as we have hoped in you.
