ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 28
1 ੧ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਵੱਟ ਲਵੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
By David. To you, LORD, I call. My rock, do not be deaf to me, lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
2 ੨ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੇਵਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਲੀ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਵੱਲ ਉਠਾਵਾਂ।
Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
3 ੩ ਬੁਰਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਗਿਣ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਹੈ।
Do not draw me away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
4 ੪ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਾ ਦੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾ ਦੇ,
Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.
5 ੫ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰੇਗਾ।
Because they do not respect the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.
Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
7 ੭ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮੌਜ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
The LORD is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
9 ੯ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲੀ ਰੱਖ।
Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
