ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 25

1 ੧ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

A psalm of David. Lord, I come to worship you.

2 ੨ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ, ਨਾ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਗਲਾਂ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਦੇ।

I trust in you, my God. Don't let me be humiliated, and don't let my enemies triumph over me.

3 ੩ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਓਹ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਉਹੋ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਮੱਲੋ-ਮੱਲੀ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

No one who trusts in you will be humiliated, but humiliation comes to those who are deliberately dishonest.

4 ੪ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਲਾ।

Show me your ways, Lord; teach me to follow your paths.

5 ੫ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਲਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. All day long I put my trust in you.

6 ੬ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਦਿਆਲ਼ਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ।

Remember, Lord, your compassion and trustworthy love—they are eternal!

7 ੭ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਾ ਰੱਖ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖ।

Please don't remember the sins of my youth when I rebelled against you. Instead, remember me according to your trustworthy love, remember me because of your goodness, Lord.

8 ੮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਸਿਖਲਾਏਗਾ।

The Lord is good and he is right; that is why he shows the way to those who are lost.

9 ੯ ਉਹ ਮਸਕੀਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਅਧੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਹ ਸਿਖਾਲੇਗਾ।

He leads those who are humble in doing what's right, teaching them his way.

10 ੧੦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਖੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਹਨ ।

The Lord's paths are those of trustworthy love and truth for those who keep his agreement and do as he says.

11 ੧੧ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਨਮਿੱਤ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ।

Lord, because of your nature, forgive my many sins.

12 ੧੨ ਉਹ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਲੇਗਾ।

Who are those who respect the Lord? He will show them the path to choose.

13 ੧੩ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੀਅ ਸੁਖੀ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵੰਸ਼ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

They will continue to be prosperous, and their descendants will inherit the land.

14 ੧੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਭੇਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਨੇਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ।

The Lord is friends with those who respect him, explaining to them his agreement.

15 ੧੫ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਵੇ।

I always look to the Lord, for he rescues me when I'm trapped.

16 ੧੬ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹਾਂ।

Watch over me and be good to me, because I am all alone and suffering.

17 ੧੭ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਵਧ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ।

My problems get bigger and bigger. Please save me from all I'm going through.

18 ੧੮ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈ।

See all my troubles and trials. Please forgive my sins.

19 ੧੯ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਬਾਹਲੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਬਦੋ-ਬਦੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।

Look at how many enemies I have, and how they really hate me!

20 ੨੦ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਰਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ।

Please look after me and save me! Don't let me be humiliated, for you are the one who protects me.

21 ੨੧ ਖਰਿਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਧਿਆਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

May integrity and honesty defend me because I place my confidence in you.

22 ੨੨ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਕਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇ!

God, please deliver the people of Israel from all their troubles!
