< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 24 >

1 ੧ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ।
David’s. A Melody. To Yahweh, belongeth, The earth and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;
2 ੨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਗਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ।
For, he, upon the seas, hath founded it, and upon the currents, doth make it firm.
3 ੩ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੌਣ ਚੜ੍ਹੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੌਣ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?
Who shall ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who shall stand in his holy place?
4 ੪ ਉਹ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਪਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਅ ਬਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਛਲਣ ਲਈ ਸਹੁੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਧੀ।
The clean of hands, and pure of heart, —who hath not uplifted, to falsehood, his soul, nor sworn deceitfully,
5 ੫ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਰਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਧਰਮ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
Shall bear away a blessing from Yahweh, and righteousness, from his delivering God.
6 ੬ ਇਹ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਖੋਜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਭਾਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ। ਸਲਹ।
This, is the generation of them who inquire of him, who seek thy face, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
7 ੭ ਹੇ ਫਾਟਕੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਚੇ ਕਰੋ, ਹੇ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਓ, ਉੱਚੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ! ਤਦ ਜਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, and lift yourselves up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.
8 ੮ ਇਹ ਜਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਮਰੱਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੀ ਹੈ।
Who is the king of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty, Yahweh, mighty in war.
9 ੯ ਫਾਟਕੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਚੇ ਕਰੋ, ਹੇ ਆਦਿ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਓ, ਉੱਚੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ! ਤਦ ਜਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, yea lift [them] up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.
10 ੧੦ ਇਹ ਜਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਹੋ ਜਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ। ਸਲਹ।
Who then is the king of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He, is the king of glory. (Selah)
