ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 14

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਮੂਰਖ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਵਿਗੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਭਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।

TO THE OVERSEER. BY DAVID. A fool has said in his heart, “There is no God”; They have done corruptly, They have done abominable actions, There is not a doer of good.

2 ੨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵੇਖੇ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਖੋਜ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ?

YHWH has looked from the heavens on the sons of men, To see if there is a wise one—seeking God.

3 ੩ ਉਹ ਸੱਭੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਕੋਈ ਭਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ!

The whole have turned aside, Together they have been filthy: There is not a doer of good, not even one.

4 ੪ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਕਰਮੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ?

Have all working iniquity not known? Those consuming my people have eaten bread, They have not called YHWH.

5 ੫ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਭੈਅ ਖਾਧਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

They have feared a fear there, For God [is] in the generation of the righteous.

6 ੬ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਸਕੀਨ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾੜਾ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਹੈ।

You cause the counsel of the poor to stink, Because YHWH [is] his refuge.

7 ੭ ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ! ਜਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ, ਤਦ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ!

“Who gives the salvation of Israel from Zion?” When YHWH turns back [To] a captivity of His people, Jacob rejoices—Israel is glad!
