< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 135 >

1 ੧ ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕੋ, ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ!
Praise ye the LORD! Praise ye the name of the LORD! Praise him, O ye servants of the LORD!
2 ੨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ,
Ye who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God!
3 ੩ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਹੈ!
Praise ye the LORD, for the LORD is good; Praise his name, for he is kind!
4 ੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਲਈ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
For the LORD chose Jacob for himself, And Israel for his own possession.
5 ੫ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ।
I know that the LORD is great; That our Lord is above all gods.
6 ੬ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਚਾਹਿਆ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਡੁੰਘਿਆਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ!
All that the LORD pleaseth, that he doeth, In heaven and upon earth, In the sea, and in all deeps.
7 ੭ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਹ ਮੀਂਹ ਲਈ ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ, ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਵਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
He causeth the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings for the rain; He bringeth the wind from his store-houses.
8 ੮ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੌਠਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਡੰਗਰ ਤੱਕ।
He smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast.
9 ੯ ਹੇ ਮਿਸਰ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੇ ਅਚੰਭੇ ਭੇਜੇ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਟਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ,
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt! Against Pharaoh and all his servants!
10 ੧੦ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ,
He smote many nations, And slew mighty kings;
11 ੧੧ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸੀਹੋਨ ਨੂੰ, ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਓਗ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਰਜਵਾੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ।
Sihon, the king of the Amorites, And Og, the king of Bashan, And all the kings of Canaan;
12 ੧੨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
And gave their land for an inheritance, For an inheritance to Israel, his people.
13 ੧੩ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਤੱਕ ਹੈ!
Thy name, O LORD! endureth for ever; Thy memorial, O LORD! to all generations!
14 ੧੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ।
For the LORD judgeth his people, And hath compassion on his servants.
15 ੧੫ ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਸੋਨਾ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਣਾਵਟ ਹਨ।
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
16 ੧੬ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਓਹ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਓਹ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ,
They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not.
17 ੧੭ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਓਹ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ!
They have ears, but they hear not; And there is no breath in their mouths.
18 ੧੮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਨਾਲੇ ਓਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ!।
They that make them are like them; So is every one that trusteth in them.
19 ੧੯ ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ! ਹੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ!
Praise the LORD, O house of Israel! Praise the LORD, O house of Aaron!
20 ੨੦ ਹੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖੋ!
Praise the LORD, O house of Levi! Ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD!
21 ੨੧ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦਾ ਵਾਸੀ ਹੈ! ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ!
Praised be the LORD out of Zion, He that dwelleth in Jerusalem! Praise ye the LORD!
