ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 130

1 ੧ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਡੂੰਘਿਆਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ,

A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2 ੨ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਨ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬੇਨਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹਿਣ!

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 ੩ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਕਰਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਕੌਣ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ?

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4 ੪ ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5 ੫ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਵੀ ਉਡੀਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਸ ਹੈ।

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 ੬ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ, ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

My soul [looketh] for the Lord, more than watchmen [look] for the morning; [yea, more than] watchmen for the morning.

7 ੭ ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਦਯਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ,

O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8 ੮ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
