ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 13

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਛੱਡੇਂਗਾ? ਕੀ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ? ਤੂੰ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਲੁਕਾਵੇਂਗਾ?

To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. How long, O Yahweh, wilt thou wholly forget me? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 ੨ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਿਚੜੀ ਪਕਾਵਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਕਰਾਂ? ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਹੇ?

How long shall I lay up cares within my soul, sorrow in my heart, day by day? How long shall mine enemy lift himself up over me?

3 ੩ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆ ਪਵੇ,

Have regard! answer me O Yahweh my God, —Light up mine eyes, lest I sleep on into death:

4 ੪ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਆਖੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਡੋਲ ਜਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਣ।

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed over him! and, mine adversaries, exult, that I totter.

5 ੫ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਵੇਗਾ।

But, I, in thy lovingkindness, have put my trust, My heart shall exult in thy salvation:

6 ੬ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰ ਜੋ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

I will sing to Yahweh, for he hath dealt beautifully with me.
