ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 127
1 ੧ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਘਰ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਰਾਖੇ ਦਾ ਜਾਗਣਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ।

2 ੨ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਬੈਠੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Vanity [belongs] to you - [who] rise early to rise [who] delay to sit [who] eat [the] bread of labors thus he gives to beloved [one] his sleep.
Here! [the] inheritance of Yahweh [is] sons [is] a reward [the] fruit of the womb.
Like arrows in [the] hand of a warrior so [are] [the] sons of youth.
5 ੫ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਤਰਕਸ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ! ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਫਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਗੇ!
How blessed! [is] the man who he has filled quiver his from them not they will be ashamed if they will speak with enemies in the gate.
