ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 110

1 ੧ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਬੈਠ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਚੌਂਕੀ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂ।

A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: 'Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.'

2 ੨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਲ ਦੀ ਆਸਾ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਘੱਲੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਰਾਜ ਕਰ।

The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.

3 ੩ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਨਾਲ ਤੜਕੇ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਜੁਆਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ।

Thy people [are] free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 ੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਰੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਮਲਕਿਸਿਦਕ ਦੀ ਪਦਵੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਹੈਂ।

Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, 'Thou [art] a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.'

5 ੫ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੇ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ,

The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger.

6 ੬ ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਖੋਪੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।

He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth.

7 ੭ ਉਹ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਝਰਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head!
