ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 11

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਮੇਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, ਕਿ ਚਿੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਡ ਜਾ?

To the Chief Musician. David’s. In Yahweh, have I sought refuge. How can ye say to my soul, Flee to a mountain like a little bird;

2 ੨ ਵੇਖੋ ਤਾਂ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਝੁਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰ ਚਿੱਲੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਮਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰਨ।

For lo! the lawless, bend the bow They have fixed their arrow upon the string, To shoot in the darkness at the upright in heart:

3 ੩ ਜੇ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਢਾਹੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ, ਤਾਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਕੀ ਕਰੇ?

When the pillars are overthrown, What could, a righteous man, do?

4 ੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੱਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਲਕਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

Yahweh, is in his holy temple As for Yahweh, in the heavens, is his throne, His eyes, behold—His eyelashes test the sons of men.

5 ੫ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਧਰਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਚਦਾ, ਪਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Yahweh, putteth, the righteous, to the test, —But the lawless one and the lover of violence, his soul doth hate.

6 ੬ ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਾਹੀਆਂ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਧਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਨੀ ਲੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਟੋਰੇ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ,

He will rain upon the lawless live-coals, Fire and brimstone and a burning wind, are the portion of their cup.

7 ੭ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਿੱਧੇ ਮਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ।

For righteous is Yahweh Righteousness, he loveth, the upright, shall behold his face.
