ਗਿਣਤੀ 33
1 ੧ ਇਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਹਨ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ।
These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 ੨ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਲਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਹਨ
Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3 ੩ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਮਸੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪੰਦਰਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਕੂਚ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਗਏ।
They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover the children of Israel went out triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians,
4 ੪ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਿਸਰੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਹਿਲੌਠਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਦੱਬ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck among them: on their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
The children of Israel traveled from Rameses, and camped in Succoth.
They traveled from Succoth, and camped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 ੭ ਫੇਰ ਏਥਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਕੂਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਪੀ-ਹਹੀਰੋਥ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਆਲ-ਸਫ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਗਦੋਲ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਲਾਏ।
They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon: and they camped before Migdol.
8 ੮ ਤਦ ਪੀ-ਹਹੀਰੋਥ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਕੂਚ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਏਥਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੇਰੇ ਲਾਏ।
They traveled from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and camped in Marah.
9 ੯ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਕੂਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਏਲਿਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸੋਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤਰ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਸਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਲਾਏ।
They traveled from Marah, and came to Elim: and in Elim were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees; and they camped there.
They traveled from Elim, and camped by the Red Sea.
They traveled from the Red Sea, and camped in the wilderness of Sin.
They traveled from the wilderness of Sin, and camped in Dophkah.
They traveled from Dophkah, and camped in Alush.
They traveled from Alush, and camped in Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
They traveled from Rephidim, and camped in the wilderness of Sinai.
They traveled from the wilderness of Sinai, and camped in Kibroth Hattaavah.
They traveled from Kibroth Hattaavah, and camped in Hazeroth.
They traveled from Hazeroth, and camped in Rithmah.
They traveled from Rithmah, and camped in Rimmon Perez.
They traveled from Rimmon Perez, and camped in Libnah.
They traveled from Libnah, and camped in Rissah.
They traveled from Rissah, and camped in Kehelathah.
They traveled from Kehelathah, and camped in Mount Shepher.
They traveled from Mount Shepher, and camped in Haradah.
They traveled from Haradah, and camped in Makheloth.
They traveled from Makheloth, and camped in Tahath.
They traveled from Tahath, and camped in Terah.
They traveled from Terah, and camped in Mithkah.
They traveled from Mithkah, and camped in Hashmonah.
They traveled from Hashmonah, and camped in Moseroth.
They traveled from Moseroth, and camped in Bene Jaakan.
They traveled from Bene Jaakan, and camped in Hor Haggidgad.
They traveled from Hor Haggidgad, and camped in Jotbathah.
They traveled from Jotbathah, and camped in Abronah.
They traveled from Abronah, and camped in Ezion Geber.
They traveled from Ezion Geber, and camped in the wilderness of Zin (that is, Kadesh).
They traveled from Kadesh, and camped in Mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 ੩੮ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਣ ਦੇ ਚਾਲੀਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ
Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.
The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
They traveled from Mount Hor, and camped in Zalmonah.
They traveled from Zalmonah, and camped in Punon.
They traveled from Punon, and camped in Oboth.
They traveled from Oboth, and camped in Iye Abarim, in the border of Moab.
They traveled from Iyim, and camped in Dibon Gad.
They traveled from Dibon Gad, and camped in Almon Diblathaim.
They traveled from Almon Diblathaim, and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
They traveled from the mountains of Abarim, and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
They camped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth even to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.
The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, "When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 ੫੨ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਓ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ, ਢਾਲ਼ੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਸੁੱਟੋ।
then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.
53 ੫੩ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰੋ।
You shall take possession of the land, and dwell in it; for I have given the land to you to possess it.
54 ੫੪ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਚੀਆਂ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੰਡ ਲਓ। ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਿਓ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਪਰਚੀ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹੋਵੇ। ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੰਡ ਲਿਓ।
You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
55 ੫੫ ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਨਾ ਕੱਢੋ ਤਾਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿਓਗੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੜਕਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਪਸਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਡੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹੋ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
"But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land in which you dwell.
It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so will I do to you."
