ਨਹਮਯਾਹ 11
1 ੧ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਤਾਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਰਚੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਦਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਨੌ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਜਾਣ।
And the princes of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: but the rest of the people cast lots, to take one part in ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.
2 ੨ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।
And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 ੩ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿੱਜ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ, ਜਾਜਕ, ਲੇਵੀ, ਨਥੀਨੀਮ (ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ) ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ
These therefore are the chief men of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda. And every one dwelt in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon.
4 ੪ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਥਾਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਉੱਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਅਮਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਫਟਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੋ ਪਰਸ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ,
And in Jerusalem there dwelt some of the children of Juda, and some of the children of Benjamin: of the children of Juda, Athaias the son of Aziam, the son of Zacharias, the son of Amarias, the son of Saphatias, the son of Malaleel: of the sons of Phares,
5 ੫ ਅਤੇ ਮਅਸੇਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਬਾਰੂਕ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਕਾਲਹੋਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਅਦਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਯੋਯਾਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਿਲੋਨੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
Maasia the son of Baruch, the son of Cholhoza, the son of Hazia, the son of Adaia, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zacharias, the son of the Silonite:
All these the sons of Phares, who dwelt in Jerusalem, were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.
7 ੭ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਲੂ ਜੋ ਮਸ਼ੁੱਲਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਯੋਏਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਪਦਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਕੋਲਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮਅਸੇਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਈਥੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਯਿਸ਼ਅਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
And these are the children of Benjamin: Sellum the son of Mosollam, the son of Joed, the son of Phadaia, the son of Colaia, the son of Masia, the son of Etheel, the son of Isaia.
And after him Gebbai, Sellai, nine hundred twenty-eight.
9 ੯ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜ਼ਿਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਏਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਸਨੂਆਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੀ।
And Joel the son of Zechri their ruler, and Judas the son of Senua was second over the city.
And of the priests Idaia the son of Joarib, Jachin,
11 ੧੧ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਹਿਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮਸ਼ੁੱਲਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮਰਾਯੋਥ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਅਹੀਟੂਬ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੀ,
Saraia the son of Helcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Meraioth, the son of Achitob the prince of the house of God,
12 ੧੨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭਵਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਬਾਈ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਯਰੋਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਪਲਲਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਅਮਸੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਪਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ
And their brethren that do the works of the temple: eight hundred twenty-two. And Adaia the son of Jeroham, the son of Phelelia, the son of Amsi, the son of Zacharias, the son of Pheshur, the son of Melchias,
13 ੧੩ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਜੋ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਸਨ, ਦੋ ਸੌ ਬਤਾਲੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅਮਸ਼ਸਈ ਜੋ ਅਜ਼ਰਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਅਹਜ਼ਈ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮਸ਼ੀਲੇਮੋਥ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੰਮੇਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ
And his brethren the chiefs of the fathers: two hundred forty-two. And Amassai the son of Azreel, the son of Ahazi, the son of Mosollamoth, the son of Emmer,
And their brethren who were very mighty, a hundred twenty-eight: and their ruler Zabdiel son of the mighty.
15 ੧੫ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਹਸ਼ੂਬ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਅਜ਼ਰੀਕਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਹਸ਼ਬਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਬੂੰਨੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
And of the Levites Semeia the son of Hasub, the son of Azaricam, the son of Hasabia, the son of Boni,
And Sabathai and Jozabed, who were over all the outward business of the house of God, of the princes of the Levites,
17 ੧੭ ਮੱਤਨਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਮੀਕਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਕਬੁਕਯਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਦਾ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਮੂਆਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਗਾਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
And Mathania the son of Micha, the son of Zebedei, the son of Asaph, was the principal man to praise, and to give glory in prayer, and Becbecia the second, one of his brethren, and Abda the son of Samua, the son of Galal, the son of Idithun.
All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.
And the porters, Accub, Telmon, and their brethren, who kept the doors: a hundred seventy-two.
And the rest of Israel, the priests and the Levites were in all the cities of Juda, every man in his possession.
And the Nathinites, that dwelt in Ophel, and Siaha, and Gaspha of the Nathinites.
22 ੨੨ ਜੋ ਲੇਵੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਉੱਜ਼ੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਗਾਇਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਬਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਹਸ਼ਬਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮੱਤਨਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਮੀਕਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Azzi the son of Bani, the son of Hasabia, the son of Mathania, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, were the singing men in the ministry of the house of God.
For the king’s commandment was concerning them, and an order among the singing men day by day.
24 ੨੪ ਪਥਹਯਾਹ ਜੋ ਮਸ਼ੇਜ਼ਬੇਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਰਹ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ।
And Phathahia the son of Mesezebel of the children of Zara the son of Juda was at the hand of the king, in all matters concerning the people,
25 ੨੫ ਹੁਣ ਬਾਕੀ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਕਿਰਯਥ-ਅਰਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਸਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕੁਝ ਦੀਬੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਸਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਯਕਬਸਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਗਏ,
And in the houses through all their countries. Of the children of Juda so dwelt at Cariath-Arbe, and in the villages thereof: and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof: and at Cabseel, and in the villages thereof.
And at Jesue, and at Molada, and Bethphaleth,
And at Hasersual, and at Bersabee, and in the villages thereof,
And at Siceleg, and at Mochona, and in the villages thereof,
And at Remmon, and at Saraa, and at Jerimuth,
30 ੩੦ ਜ਼ਾਨੋਅਹ, ਅਦੁੱਲਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਜ਼ੇਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਸਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਬਏਰਸ਼ਬਾ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
Zanoa, Odollam, and in their villages, at Lachis and its dependencies, and at Azeca and the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Bersabee unto the valley of Ennom.
And the children of Benjamin, from Geba, at Mechmas, and at Hai, and at Bethel, and in the villages thereof,
At Anathoth, Nob, Anania,
Asor, Rama, Gethaim,
Hadid, Seboim, and Neballat, Led,
And Ono the valley of craftsmen.
And of the Levites were portions of Juda and Benjamin.
