ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 6
After these things went away Jesus over the Sea of Galilee — of Tiberias.
(and *k*) Was following (now *no*) after Him a crowd great, because (they were experiencing *N(k)O*) (of him *k*) the signs which He was doing upon those being sick.
Went up now on the mountain (*k*) Jesus and there He was sitting with the disciples of Him.
Was now near the Passover the feast of the Jews.
5 ੫ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ “ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਰੀਦ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਖਾ ਸਕਣ।”
Having lifted up then the eyes Jesus and having seen that a great crowd is coming to Him He says to (*k*) Philip; From where (we may buy *N(k)O*) bread that may eat these?
This now He was saying testing him; He himself for knew what He was about to do.
7 ੭ ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਭਾਵੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋ ਸੋ ਦੀਨਾਰ (ਇੱਕ ਦੀਨਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ) ਦੀਆਂ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਆਈਏ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਟੁੱਕੜਾ ਹੀ ਦੇਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ।”
Answered Him (*n*) Philip; Two hundred denarii worth of loaves not are sufficient for them that each (of them *k*) little [piece] one may receive.
Says to Him one of the disciples of Him, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter;
9 ੯ “ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਪੰਜ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਇੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ?”
Is a little boy (one *k*) here (who *N(k)O*) has five loaves barley and two small fish; but these what are for so many?
10 ੧੦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਹੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਣ।” ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਘਾਹ ਸੀ, ਪੰਜ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਏ।
Said (now *k*) Jesus; do make the men to recline. There was now grass much in the place. Reclined therefore the men the number (about *N(k)O*) five thousand.
11 ੧੧ ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਸੀ।
Took (then *N(k)O*) the loaves Jesus and having given thanks He distributed (to the disciples now the disciples *K*) to those reclining, likewise also of the fish as much as they were wishing.
12 ੧੨ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਖਾਧਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਰੱਜ ਨਾ ਗਏ। ਫਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਕੜੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ ਲਓ, ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।”
When now they were filled He says to the disciples of Him; do gather together the having been over and above fragments so that nothing anything may be lost.
13 ੧੩ ਤਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਟੁੱਕੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਚਿਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਪੰਜ ਜੌਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਕੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਟੋਕਰੀਆਂ ਭਰੀਆਂ।
They gathered together therefore and filled twelve hand-baskets of fragments from the five loaves barley which (exceeded *N(k)O*) to those having eaten.
14 ੧੪ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਇਹ ਓਹੀ ਨਬੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਸੀ।”
The therefore people having seen (what *NK(o)*) He had done (sign *NK(O)*) (Jesus *k*) were saying that This is truly the prophet who is coming into the world.
15 ੧੫ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਬਦੋ-ਬਦੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਹੀ ਪਹਾੜ ਵੱਲ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
Jesus therefore having known that they are about to come and to seize Him that they may make (Him *k*) king withdrew again to the mountain Himself alone.
When now evening it became, went down the disciples of Him to the sea,
17 ੧੭ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਸੀ। ਚੇਲੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਫ਼ਰਨਾਹੂਮ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲ ਪਏ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਸੀ।
and having climbed into (*k*) a boat they were going over the sea to Capernaum. And dark already it had become, and (not yet *N(k)O*) had come to them Jesus,
And the sea by a wind strong blowing was agitated.
19 ੧੯ ਚੇਲੇ ਲੱਗਭਗ ਤਿੰਨ ਚਾਰ ਮੀਲ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ। ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਚੇਲੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇੜੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਵੇਖ ਡਰ ਗਏ।
Having rowed therefore about stadia twenty five or thirty, they see Jesus walking on the sea and near the boat coming, and they were frightened.
And He says to them; I myself am [He], not do fear.
21 ੨੧ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ, ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ।
They were willing then to receive Him into the boat, and immediately was the boat at the land to which they were going.
22 ੨੨ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਹੀ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਬੇੜੀ ਸੀ।
On the next day the crowd which already standing on the other side of the sea (having seen *N(k)O*) that boat other no was there only except one (that into which climbed the disciples of him *K*) and for not went with the disciples of Him Jesus into the (boat *N(k)O*) but alone the disciples of Him went away;
23 ੨੩ ਪਰ ਤਦ ਤਿਬਿਰਿਯਾਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਈਆਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਕਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ।
(another *NK(O)*) (now *k*) came (boats *NK(o)*) from Tiberias near the place where they ate the bread when was giving thanks to the Lord.
24 ੨੪ ਫਿਰ ਭੀੜ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਕਫ਼ਰਨਾਹੂਮ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਗਏ।
When therefore saw the crowd that Jesus not is there nor [are] the disciples of Him, they climbed (also *k*) themselves into the (boats *N(k)O*) and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus,
25 ੨੫ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੱਭਿਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਦੋਂ ਆਏ?”
And having found Him on the other side of the sea they said to Him; Rabbi, when here have You come?
26 ੨੬ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ? ਕੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ-ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਭਾਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸੀ।
Answered them Jesus and said; Amen Amen I say to you; you seek Me not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were satisfied.
27 ੨੭ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਭੋਜਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਿਤਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦੀ ਮੋਹਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।” (aiōnios g166)
do work not [for] the food that is perishing but [for] the food which is enduring unto life eternal which the Son of Man to you will give; Him for the Father has sealed God. (aiōnios g166)
They said therefore to Him; What (shall we do *N(k)O*) that we may be doing the works of God?
29 ੨੯ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ।”
Answered Jesus and said to them; This is the work of God that (you may believe *N(k)O*) in Him whom has sent He.
30 ੩੦ ਭੀੜ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸਕੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਸਕੀਏ? ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ?
They said therefore to Him; What then do You yourself [as a] sign that we may see and may believe You? What work do You perform?
31 ੩੧ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਨਾ ਖਾਧਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।”
The fathers of us the manna ate in the wilderness even as it is written: Bread from heaven He gave them to eat.’
32 ੩੨ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ-ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ, ਤੋਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗੋਂ ਸੱਚੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Said therefore to them Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you; not Moses (has given *NK(o)*) you the bread from heaven, but the Father of Mine gives you the bread from heaven true.
The for bread of God is the [One] coming down out of heaven and life giving to the world.
They said therefore to Him; Sir, always do give to us bread this.
35 ੩੫ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ “ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਦੇ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਦੇ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
Said (now *K(O)*) to them Jesus; I myself am the bread of life; the [one] coming to Me myself certainly not may hunger, and the [one] believing in Me myself certainly not (will thirst *N(k)O*) at any time.
But I said to you that also you have seen Me and yet not believe.
37 ੩੭ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਬਲਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਾਂਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
All that gives Me the Father to Me myself will come, and the [one] coming to Me myself certainly not shall I cast out,
For I have come down (from *N(k)O*) heaven not that I may do the will of Me but the will of the [One who] having sent Me.
39 ੩੯ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਗੁਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਿਵਾਂਲਾਗਾ। ਉਹ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇਹੀ ਆਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
This now is the will of the [One who] having sent Me ([the] Father, *K*) that all that He has given Me none I may lose of it, but may raise up it in the last day.
40 ੪੦ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਹੈ: ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।” (aiōnios g166)
This (for *N(k)O*) is the will of the (Father *N(K)O*) (Mine, *N(k)O*) that everyone who is beholding the Son and believing in Him he may have life eternal, and will raise up him I myself (in *n*) the last day. (aiōnios g166)
41 ੪੧ ਫੇਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੁੜ-ਬੁੜਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਹੈ।”
Were grumbling therefore the Jews about Him because He said; I myself am the bread having come down from heaven;
42 ੪੨ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਤਾਂ ਭਲਾ ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਸਵਰਗੋਂ ਉੱਤਰਿਆ ਹਾਂ।’”
And they were saying; (Surely *N(k)O*) this is Jesus the son of Joseph, of whom we ourselves know the father and the mother? How (then *N(K)O*) says He (this *k*) that From heaven I have come down?
Answered (therefore *K*) (*k*) Jesus and said to them; Not do grumble with one another.
44 ੪੪ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉੱਠਾਵਾਗਾਂ।
No [one] is able to come to Me, only unless the Father the [one] having sent Me shall draw him, and I myself and I myself will raise up him in the last day.
45 ੪੫ ਇਹ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ: ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੱਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
It is written in the prophets: And they will be all taught (*k*) of God.’ Everyone (therefore *K*) who (having heard *NK(o)*) from the Father and having learned he comes to Me myself;
46 ੪੬ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
Not for the Father has seen anyone only except the [One] being from God, He has seen the Father.
Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] believing (into me myself *KO*) has life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
I myself am the bread of life.
The fathers of You ate in the wilderness the manna and died;
50 ੫੦ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ।
This is the bread from heaven coming down, that anyone of it may eat and not may die.
51 ੫੧ ਮੈਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।” (aiōn g165)
I myself am the bread which is living from heaven having come down; if anyone shall have eaten of this bread, (he will live *N(k)O*) to the age. and the bread also that I myself will give the flesh of Me is (which I myself I will give *K*) for the of the world life. (aiōn g165)
52 ੫੨ ਫੇਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹਿਸ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ, “ਭਲਾ ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?”
Were arguing therefore with one another the Jews saying; How is able this [man] us to give the flesh of Him to eat?
53 ੫੩ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਂਦੇ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸੱਚਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Said therefore to them Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you; only unless you shall have eaten the flesh of the Son of Man and shall have drunk of Him the blood, not you have life in yourselves.
54 ੫੪ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। (aiōnios g166)
The [one] eating of My flesh and drinking of My blood has life eternal, and I myself and I myself will raise up him in the last day. (aiōnios g166)
The for flesh of Me (true *N(k)O*) is food, and the blood of Me (true *N(k)O*) is drink.
The [one] eating of My flesh and drinking of My blood in Me myself abides and I myself and I myself in him.
57 ੫੭ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ।
Even as sent Me the living Father and I myself and I myself live because of the Father, also the [one] feeding on Me he also he also (will live *N(k)O*) because of Me myself.
58 ੫੮ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਡਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਪਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਮੈਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ।” (aiōn g165)
This is the bread from (*k*) heaven having come down, not even as ate the fathers (of you *K*) (*k*) (manna *K*) and died; The [one] eating this bread (will live *N(k)O*) to the age. (aiōn g165)
These things He said in [the] synagogue teaching in Capernaum.
60 ੬੦ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੈ। ਕੌਣ ਇਸ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?”
Many therefore having heard of the disciples of Him said; Difficult is word this; who is able it to hear?
61 ੬੧ ਯਿਸੂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੁੜਬੁੜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੀ ਇਹ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਠੋਕਰ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ?
knowing however Jesus in Himself that are grumbling about this the disciples of Him He said to them; This you does offend?
62 ੬੨ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ, ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ?
What if then you shall see the Son of Man ascending where He was before?
63 ੬੩ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਆਤਮਾ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The Spirit is the [one] giving life, the flesh not profits no [thing]; The declarations that I myself (have spoken *N(k)O*) to you spirit are and life they are.
64 ੬੪ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ।” ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
But they are of you some who not believe. Knew for from [the] beginning Jesus who are those not believing and who it is who will betray Him.
65 ੬੫ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ “ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ।”
And He was saying; Because of this have I said to you that no [one] is able to come to Me only unless it shall granted to him from the Father (of mine. *k*)
From that [time] many (out of *no*) the disciples of Him went away to the back and no longer no longer with Him were walking.
Said therefore Jesus to the Twelve; Surely not also you yourselves are wishing to go away?
68 ੬੮ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਈਏ? ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ। (aiōnios g166)
Answered (therefore *K*) Him Simon Peter; Lord, to whom will we go? declarations of life eternal You have, (aiōnios g166)
and we ourselves have believed and have known that You yourself are (Christ *K*) the (Holy One *N(K)O*) of God (who is living. *K*)
Answered them Jesus; Not I myself you the Twelve did choose, and of you one a devil is?
71 ੭੧ ਯਿਸੂ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਇਸਕਰਿਯੋਤੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ।
He was speaking now of Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot; *N(k)O*) he for was about to betray Him one (being *ko*) of the Twelve.
