ਅੱਯੂਬ 32
Forsothe these thre men leften of to answere Joob, for he semyde a iust man to hem.
2 ੨ ਫੇਰ ਬਰਕਏਲ ਬੂਜ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਜੋ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭੜਕਿਆ। ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਭੜਕਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ,
And Helyu, the sone of Barachel Buzites, of the kynrede of Ram, was wrooth, and hadde indignacioun; forsothe he was wrooth ayens Joob, for he seide hym silf to be iust bifor God.
3 ੩ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਭੜਕਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਕੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ।
Sotheli Helyu hadde indignacioun ayens the thre frendis of hym, for thei hadden not founde resonable answere, but oneli hadde condempned Joob.
Therfor Helyu abood Joob spekynge, for thei, that spaken, weren eldere men.
But whanne he hadde seyn, that thre men myyten not answere, he was wrooth greetly.
6 ੬ ਤਦ ਬਰਕਏਲ ਬੂਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਅਜੇ ਜੁਆਨ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਰੁਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੱਸਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
And Helyu, the sone of Barachel Buzites, answeride, and seyde, Y am yongere in tyme, sotheli ye ben eldere; therfor with heed holdun doun Y dredde to schewe to you my sentence.
For Y hopide that lengere age schulde speke, and that the multitude of yeeris schulden teche wisdom.
But as Y se, spirit is in men, and the enspiryng `ether reuelacioun, of Almyyti God yyueth vndurstondyng.
Men of long lijf ben not wise, and elde men vndurstonden not doom.
Therfor Y schal seie, Here ye me, and Y also schal schewe my kunnyng to you.
11 ੧੧ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਇਆ, ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੀ!
For Y abood youre wordis, Y herde youre prudence, as long as ye dispuytiden in youre wordis.
12 ੧੨ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ।
And as long as Y gesside you to seie ony thing, Y bihelde; but as Y se, `noon is of you, that may repreue Joob, and answere to hise wordis;
13 ੧੩ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੋ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਬੁੱਧ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ,
lest perauenture ye seien, We han founde wisdom; God, and not man, hath cast hym awei.
Joob spak no thing to me, and Y not bi youre wordis schal answere hym.
Thei dredden, and answeriden no more, and token awei speche fro hem silf.
Therfor for Y abood, and thei spaken not, thei stoden, and answeriden no more; also Y schal answere my part,
and Y schal schewe my kunnyng.
For Y am ful of wordis, and the spirit of my wombe, `that is, mynde, constreyneth me.
19 ੧੯ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਮੈਅ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈ, ਨਵੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
Lo! my wombe is as must with out `spigot, ether a ventyng, that brekith newe vessels.
Y schal speke, and brethe ayen a litil; Y schal opene my lippis, and Y schal answere.
Y schal not take the persoone of man, and Y schal not make God euene to man.
22 ੨੨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਚਾਪਲੂਸੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਵੇਗਾ।”
For Y woot not hou long Y schal abide, and if my Makere take me awei `after a litil tyme.
