ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ 30
The word that has been to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,
2 ੨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖ ਲੈ
“Thus spoke YHWH, God of Israel, saying, Write for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you on a scroll.
3 ੩ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
For behold, days are coming—a declaration of YHWH—and I have turned back [to] the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, said YHWH, and I have caused them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they possess it.”
And these [are] the words that YHWH has spoken concerning Israel and concerning Judah:
Surely thus said YHWH: “We have heard a voice of trembling, Fear—and there is no peace.
6 ੬ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੁੱਛੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਕੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਾ ਜੰਮ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਮੈਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਰਦ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੇਠ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਢਾਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਰੱਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ? ਕਿਉਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਪੀਲੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ?
Now ask and see, is a male bringing forth? Why have I seen every man [With] his hands on his loins, as a travailing woman, And all faces have been turned to paleness?
7 ੭ ਹਾਏ! ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਐਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਰ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ! ਇਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Woe! For that day [is] great, without any like it, Indeed, it [is] the time of Jacob’s tribulation, Yet he is saved out of it.
8 ੮ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਧੌਣ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਜੂਲਾ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੰਧਣ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਓਪਰੇ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਟਹਿਲ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਉਣਗੇ।
And it has come to pass in that day, A declaration of YHWH of Hosts, I break his yoke from off your neck, And I draw away your bands, And strangers lay no more service on him.
9 ੯ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ, ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੀ, ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਖੜਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
And they have served their God YHWH, And David their king whom I raise up to them.
10 ੧੦ ਹੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਮੇਰੇ ਟਹਿਲੂਏ, ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਡਰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਘਬਰਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੈਨ ਤੇ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਡਰਾਵੇਗਾ।
And you, do not be afraid, My servant Jacob, A declaration of YHWH, Nor be frightened, O Israel, For behold, I am saving you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity, And Jacob has turned back and rested, And is quiet, and there is none troubling.
11 ੧੧ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਹਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੂਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਢੋਂ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖੇਰੂੰ-ਖੇਰੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੂਲੋਂ ਨਾ ਮੁਕਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਰਮਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਘੁਰਕਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ।
For I [am] with you,” A declaration of YHWH, “To save you, For I make an end of all the nations To where I have scattered you, Only, I do not make an end of you, And I have disciplined you in judgment, And do not entirely acquit you.”
For thus said YHWH: “Your breach is incurable, your stroke grievous,
There is none judging your cause to bind up, There are no healing medicines for you.
14 ੧੪ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਮਾਰੀ, ਬੇ ਤਰਸ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਾਲ, ਤੇਰੀ ਬਦੀ ਜੋ ਵੱਧ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
All loving you have forgotten you, They do not seek you, For I struck you with the stroke of an enemy, The discipline of a fierce one, Because of the abundance of your iniquity, your sins have been mighty!
15 ੧੫ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੱਟ ਲਈ ਕਿਉਂ ਚਿੱਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈਂ? ਤੇਰਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਅਸਾਧ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਗਈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ।
Why do you cry concerning your breach? Your pain [is] incurable, Because of the abundance of your iniquity, Your sins have been mighty! I have done these to you.
16 ੧੬ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਪ ਨਿਗਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ, ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ, ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਲੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ,
Therefore all consuming you are consumed, And all your adversaries—all of them—Go into captivity, And your spoilers have been for a spoil, And I give up all your plunderers to plunder.
17 ੧੭ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਰੋਆ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਫੱਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜੋ “ਅਛੂਤ” ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, “ਇਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ!”
For I increase health to you, And I heal you from your strokes,” A declaration of YHWH, “For they have called you an outcast, [saying], It [is] Zion, There is none seeking for her.”
18 ੧੮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, - ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਸੇਬਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਥੇਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Thus said YHWH: “Behold, I turn back [to] the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And I pity his dwelling places, And the city has been built on its heap, And the palace remains according to its ordinance.
19 ੧੯ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਗੀ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਘਟਣਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਛੋਟੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
And thanksgiving has gone forth from them, And the voice of playful ones, And I have multiplied them and they are not few, And made them honorable, and they are not small.
20 ੨੦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਸਤਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
And his sons have been as before, And his congregation is established before Me, And I have seen after all his oppressors.
21 ੨੧ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਦਿਲੇਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ? ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
And his majestic one has been of himself, And his ruler goes forth from his midst, And I have caused him to draw near, And he has drawn near to Me, For who [is] he who has pledged his heart To draw near to Me?” A declaration of YHWH.
“And you have been to Me for a people, And I am to you for God.”
23 ੨੩ ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੂਫਾਨ! ਉਸ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਫੁੱਟ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੂਫਾਨ! ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੁੱਟ ਪਵੇਗਾ!
Behold, a whirlwind of YHWH—Fury has gone forth—a cutting whirlwind, It stays on the head of the wicked.
24 ੨੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਨਾ ਹਟੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਰੋਜਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ। ਅੰਤਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝੋਗੇ।
The fierceness of the anger of YHWH Does not turn back until He has done [it], Indeed, until His establishing the purposes of His heart. In the latter end of the days you consider it!
