ਯਸਾਯਾਹ 65
1 ੧ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ।”
“I have been inquired of by those who did not ask, I have been found by those who did not seek Me, I have said, Behold Me, behold Me, To a nation not calling on My Name.
2 ੨ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਬੁਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਿਆਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ, -
I have spread out My hands all the day To an apostate people, Who are going in the way [that is] not good, After their own thoughts.
3 ੩ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਜਾ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਗ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਟਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭੜਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The people who are continually provoking Me to anger, To My face, Sacrificing in gardens, and making incense on the bricks:
4 ੪ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਝਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੂਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਗੰਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ,
Who are dwelling among tombs, And lodge in reserved places, Who are eating flesh of the sow, And a piece of abominations—their vessels.
5 ੫ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਰਹਿ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਬਲਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ!
Who are saying, Keep to yourself, do not come near to me, For I have declared you unholy. These [are] smoke in My anger, A fire burning all the day.
6 ੬ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ,
Behold, it is written before Me: I am not silent, but have repaid; And I have repaid into their bosom,
7 ੭ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਵੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਟਿੱਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਬਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਣ ਕੇ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together,” said YHWH, “Who have made incense on the mountains, And have reproached Me on the heights, And I have measured their former work into their bosom.”
8 ੮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਛੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਅ ਭਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਕਤ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਵਰਤਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਂ।
Thus said YHWH: “As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one has said, Do not destroy it for a blessing [is] in it, So I do for My servants’ sake, Not to destroy the whole.
9 ੯ ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਕੱਢਾਂਗਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ।
And I have brought out a Seed from Jacob, And from Judah a Possessor of My mountain, And My chosen ones possess it, And My servants dwell there.
10 ੧੦ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਰੋਨ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਾੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਕੋਰ ਦੀ ਘਾਟੀ ਚੌਣੇ ਦੇ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
And Sharon has been for the habitation of a flock, And the Valley of Achor for the lying down of a herd, For My people who have sought Me.
11 ੧੧ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜੋ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਦੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਲਈ ਮੇਜ਼ ਸੁਆਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਲਈ ਰਲਵੀਂ ਮਧ ਭਰਦੇ ਹੋ,
And you [are] those forsaking YHWH, Who are forgetting My holy mountain, Who are setting a table in array for Gad, And who are filling a mixture for Meni.
12 ੧੨ ਮੈਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਾਗ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਝੁੱਕ ਜਾਓਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
And I have numbered you for the sword, And all of you bow down for slaughter, Because I called, and you have not answered, I have spoken, and you have not listened, And you do evil in My eyes, And on that which I did not desire—fixed.”
13 ੧੩ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਪੀਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਿਹਾਏ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਉਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ,
Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: “Behold, My servants eat, and you hunger, Behold, My servants drink, and you thirst, Behold, My servants rejoice, and you are ashamed,
14 ੧੪ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਖੁਸ਼ ਦਿਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੈਕਾਰੇ ਗਜਾਉਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਲਾਓਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਮਾਰੋਗੇ!
Behold, My servants sing from joy of heart, And you cry from pain of heart, And you howl from breaking of spirit.
15 ੧੫ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ-ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬੁਲਾਵੇਗਾ।
And you have left your name For an oath for My chosen ones, And Lord YHWH has put you to death, And He gives another name to His servants;
16 ੧੬ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇ, ਉਹ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇ, ਉਹ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੁਲਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਕਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
So that he who is blessing himself in the earth, Blesses himself in the God of faithfulness, And he who is swearing in the earth, Swears by the God of faithfulness, Because the former distresses have been forgotten, And because they have been hid from My eyes.
17 ੧੭ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਨਵਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਨਾ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸੋਚ-ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਨਗੀਆਂ।
For behold, I am creating new heavens and a new earth, And the former things are not remembered, Nor do they ascend on the heart.
18 ੧੮ ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੁੱਗੋ-ਜੁੱਗ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਵੋ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਲਈ ਅਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
But rejoice, and rejoice forever, that I [am] Creator, For behold, I am creating Jerusalem [to be] a rejoicing, And her people a joy.
19 ੧੯ ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਤੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੇਰ ਰੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਜਾਂ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ,
And I have rejoiced in Jerusalem, And have rejoiced in My people, And the voice of weeping is not heard in her anymore, and the voice of crying.
20 ੨੦ ਉੱਥੇ ਫੇਰ ਕੋਈ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਣ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸੌ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਸੌ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਸਰਾਪੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
There is not a suckling of [mere] days there anymore, And an aged man who does not complete his days, For the youth dies one hundred years old, And the sinner, one hundred years old, is lightly esteemed.
And they have built houses, and inhabited, And planted vineyards, and eaten their fruit.
22 ੨੨ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਵੱਸੇ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਲਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਖਾਵੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤਾਂ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਨਗੇ।
They do not build, and another inhabit, They do not plant, and another eat, For as the days of a tree [are] the days of My people, And My chosen wear out the work of their hands.
23 ੨੩ ਉਹ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਜੰਮੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਅੰਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
They do not labor for a vain thing, Nor do they bring forth for trouble, For they [are] the seed of the blessed of YHWH, And their offspring with them.
24 ੨੪ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਕਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਜੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।
And it has come to pass, They do not yet call, and I answer, They are yet speaking, and I hear.
25 ੨੫ ਬਘਿਆੜ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਲਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਚਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਘਾਹ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸੱਪ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਨਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Wolf and lamb feed as one, And a lion eats straw as an ox, As for the serpent—its food [is] dust, They do no evil, nor destroy, In all My holy mountain,” said YHWH!
