ਯਸਾਯਾਹ 30
1 ੧ ਹਾਏ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
Woe [to] apostate sons, The affirmation of Jehovah! To do counsel, and not from Me, And to spread out a covering, and not of My spirit, So as to add sin to sin.
2 ੨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਪਾਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਣ।
Who are walking to go down to Egypt, And My mouth have not asked, To be strong in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt.
3 ੩ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਣੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
And the strength of Pharaoh Hath been to you for shame, And the trust in the shadow of Egypt confusion,
For in Zoan were his princes, And his messengers reach Hanes.
5 ੫ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ, ਲਾਜ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਨਾ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ, ਨਾ ਲਾਭ ਲਈ, ਪਰ ਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ!
All he made ashamed of a people that profit not, Neither for help, not for profit, But for shame, and also for reproach!
6 ੬ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ, - ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰਨੀ, ਨਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਡਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੱਪ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜੁਆਨ ਗਧਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਨ, ਅਤੇ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਹਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ, ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ!
The burden of the beasts of the south. Into a land of adversity and distress, Of young lion and of old lion, Whence [are] viper and flying saraph, They carry on the shoulder of asses their wealth, And on the hump of camels their treasures, Unto a people not profitable.
Yea, Egyptians [are] vanity, and in vain do help, Therefore I have cried concerning this: 'Their strength [is] to sit still.'
8 ੮ ਹੁਣ ਜਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਖ਼ਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖ, ਅਤੇ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ਼ ਕਰ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
No, go in, write it on a tablet with them, And on a book engrave it, And it is for a latter day, for a witness unto the age,
That a rebellious people [is] this, sons — liars, Sons not willing to hear the law of Jehovah.
10 ੧੦ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦਰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੋ! ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੱਚੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੋ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੋ, ਛਲ ਅਤੇ ਫਰੇਬ ਦੱਸੋ!
Who have said to seers, 'Ye do not see,' And to prophets, 'Ye do not prophesy to us Straightforward things, Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits,
Turn aside from the way, decline from the path, Cause to cease from before us the Holy One of Israel.'
12 ੧੨ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਠ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਢਾਸਣਾ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ,
Therefore, thus said the Holy One of Israel, Because of your kicking against this word, And ye trust in oppression, And perverseness, and rely on it,
13 ੧੩ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬਦੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਤੇੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਕੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਟੁੱਟਣਾ ਅਚਾਨਕ, ਇੱਕ ਦਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Therefore is this iniquity to you as a breach falling, Swelled out in a wall set on high, Whose destruction suddenly, at an instant cometh.
14 ੧੪ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਟੁੱਟਣਾ ਘੁਮਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਫ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਠੀਕਰਾ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਲੱਭੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਾਂ ਹੌਦ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
And He hath broken it As the breaking of the potters' bottle, Beaten down — He doth not spare, Nor is there found, in its beating down, A potsherd to take fire from the burning, And to draw out waters from a ditch.
15 ੧੫ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੁੜ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਚੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ,
For thus said the Lord Jehovah, The Holy One of Israel: 'In returning and rest ye are saved, In keeping quiet and in confidence is your might, And ye have not been willing.
16 ੧੬ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਨੱਠਾਂਗੇ, - ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨੱਠੋਗੇ! ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਜ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਂਗੇ, - ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ ਹੋਣਗੇ!
And ye say, No, for on a horse we flee? Therefore ye flee, And on the swift we ride! Therefore swift are your pursuers.
17 ੧੭ ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਘੁਰਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੱਠਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਘੁਰਕੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੱਠੋਗੇ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਂਸ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਜਾਂ ਟਿੱਬੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝੰਡੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ।
One thousand because of the rebuke of one, Because of the rebuke of five ye flee, Till ye have been surely left as a pole On the top of the mountain, And as an ensign on the height.
18 ੧੮ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਡੀਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਮ ਕਰੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਧੰਨ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ!
And therefore doth wait Jehovah to favour you, And therefore He is exalted to pity you, For a God of judgment [is] Jehovah, O the blessedness of all waiting for Him.
19 ੧੯ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਤੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਰੋਵੋਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਸੁਣਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
For the people in Zion dwell in Jerusalem, Weep thou not, weeping, Pitying, He pitieth thee at the voice of thy cry, When He heareth He answereth thee.
20 ੨੦ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਗੀਆਂ,
And the Lord hath given to you bread of adversity, And water of oppression. And thy directors remove no more, And thine eyes have seen thy directors,
21 ੨੧ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਕਦੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜੋ ਜਾਂ ਖੱਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੰਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਇਹ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰਾਹ ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੋ।
And thine ear heareth a word behind thee, Saying, 'This [is] the way, go ye in it,' When ye turn to the right, And when ye turn to the left.
22 ੨੨ ਤਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਢਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਦੇ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦਿਓਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋਗੇ, ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੋ!
And ye have defiled the covering of Thy graven images of silver, And the ephod of thy molten image of gold, Thou scatterest them as a sickening thing, 'Go out,' thou sayest to it.
23 ੨੩ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਬੀਜ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜੋਗੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਘੱਲੇਗਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਉਹ ਉੱਤਮ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੇਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੇਰਾ ਵੱਗ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਜੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਗੇਗਾ।
And He hath given rain [for] thy seed, With which thou dost sow the ground, And bread, the increase of the ground, And it hath been fat and plenteous, Enjoy do thy cattle in that day an enlarged pasture.
24 ੨੪ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਆਨ ਗਧੇ, ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਲੂਣੇ ਪੱਠੇ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਛੱਜ ਤੇ ਤੁੰਗਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਡਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
And the oxen and the young asses serving the ground, Fermented provender do eat, That one is winnowing with shovel and fan.
25 ੨੫ ਵੱਡੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਜਦ ਬੁਰਜ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਪਰਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਉੱਚੇ ਟਿੱਬੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਗਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
And there hath been on every high mount, And on every exalted hill, Rivulets — streams of waters, In a day of much slaughter, in the falling of towers.
26 ੨੬ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਫੱਟ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੱਟ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਚੰਦ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
And the light of the moon hath been as the light of the sun, And the light of the sun is sevenfold, As the light of seven days, In the day of Jehovah's binding up the breach of His people, When the stroke of its wound He healeth.
27 ੨੭ ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੂਰੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਨਾਲ। ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੈ।
Lo, the name of Jehovah is coming from far, Burning is His anger, and great the flame, His lips have been full of indignation, And His tongue [is] as a devouring fire.
28 ੨੮ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਲ਼ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਛੱਜ ਨਾਲ ਛੱਟੇ, ਅਤੇ ਭਟਕਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲਗਾਮ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਜਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ।
And His breath [is] as an overflowing stream, Unto the neck it divideth, To sift nations with a sieve of vanity, And a bridle causing to err, [Is] on the jaws of the peoples.
29 ੨੯ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Singing is to you as in a night sanctified for a festival, And joy of heart as he who is going with a pipe, To go in to the mountain of Jehovah, Unto the rock of Israel.
30 ੩੦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੇਜਵਾਨ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਦਾ ਉਲਾਰ, ਤੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਮੋਹਲੇਧਾਰ ਮੀਂਹ, ਵਾਛੜ ਅਤੇ ਗੜੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
And caused to be heard hath Jehovah The honour of His voice, And the coming down of His arm He doth shew with the raging of anger, And the flame of a consuming fire, Scattering, and inundation, and hailstone.
For from the voice of Jehovah broken down [is] Asshur, With a rod He smiteth.
32 ੩੨ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਲਾਠੀ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸੱਟ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਵੇਗਾ, ਡੱਫ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਬਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇਗਾ।
And every passage of the settled staff, That Jehovah causeth to rest on him, Hath been with tabrets, and with harps, And in battles of shaking he hath fought with it.
33 ੩੩ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਵਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚਿਤਾ ਅੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਗੰਧਕ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਗਾਵੇਗਾ।
For, arranged from former time is Tophet, Even it for the king is prepared, He hath made deep, He hath made large, Its pile [is] fire and much wood, The breath of Jehovah, As a stream of brim stone, is burning in it!
