2 ੨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਰਾਹ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਾਨਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਫੁਰਤੀਲੇ ਦੂਤੋ, ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਓ, ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਲੰਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੈਅ ਦੂਰ-ਦੂਰ ਤੱਕ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਲਤਾੜਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਪਾੜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

4 ੪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਧੁੱਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ ਗਰਮੀ, ਅਤੇ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੀ ਗਰਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਝਾਕਾਂਗਾ,

5 ੫ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵਾਢੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਦ ਕਲੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਪੱਕੇ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਟ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਖਿੱਲਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ,

6 ੬ ਉਹ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਛੱਡੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ, ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਪੰਛੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਰਮੀ ਕੱਟਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਰਦੀ ਕੱਟਣਗੇ।

7 ੭ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੈਅ ਦੂਰ-ਦੂਰ ਤੱਕ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਲਤਾੜਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਪਾੜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ, ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਨਾ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
