ਹੋਸ਼ੇਆ 5
1 ੧ ਹੇ ਜਾਜਕੋ, ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੋ! ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿਓ! ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਕੰਨ ਲਾਓ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਮਿਸਪਾਹ ਲਈ ਫੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤਾਬੋਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਛਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਲ਼।
Hear this, priests, and pay attention, house of Israel, and listen closely, house of the king. For there is a judgment against you, because you have become a trap for those you watched over, and a net stretched out over Tabor.
And you have led astray victims into the depths, though I am the teacher of them all.
3 ੩ ਮੈਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ, ਹੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ, ਤੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
I know Ephraim, and Israel has not been hidden from me, yet now Ephraim has committed fornication, and Israel has been contaminated.
4 ੪ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਤੂਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।
They will not set their thoughts to return to their God, for the spirit of fornication is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord.
5 ੫ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ।
And the arrogance of Israel will answer to his face. And Israel and Ephraim will fall in their iniquity, and even Judah will fall with them.
6 ੬ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਕਲਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
With their flocks and their herds, they will go to seek the Lord, and they will not find him. He has taken himself away from them.
7 ੭ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਜ਼ਾਇਜ ਬੱਚੇ ਜੰਮੇ, ਹੁਣ ਨਵਾਂ ਚੰਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
They have sinned against the Lord. For they have conceived sons that are strangers. Now one month will devour them with all their own.
Sound the bugle in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah. Shout in Bethaven, behind your back, O Benjamin.
Ephraim will be in desolation on the day of correction, for within the tribes of Israel, I have revealed faith.
10 ੧੦ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ!
The leaders of Judah have become like those who assume the end. I will pour my wrath over them like water.
11 ੧੧ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦਬਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਥਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਿੱਦ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
Ephraim has been enduring malicious slander and broken judgment, because he began to go after filth.
And I will be like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.
13 ੧੩ ਜਦ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੋਗ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਨੂੰ, ਤਾਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝਗੜਾਲੂ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ, ਨਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
And Ephraim saw his own weakness, and Judah his chains. And Ephraim went to Assur, and he sent to the Avenging king. But he will not be able to heal you, nor is he able to release you from your chains.
14 ੧੪ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਲਈ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਜੁਆਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਮੈਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਪਾੜਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
For I will be like a lioness to Ephraim, and like a lion’s offspring to the house of Judah. I myself will seize and go forth. I will take away, and there is no one who can rescue.
15 ੧੫ ਮੈਂ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜਾਂਗਾ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਾ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਖੋਜੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਲਣਗੇ।
I will go and return to my place, until you shall grow faint and seek my face.
