ਉਤਪਤ 5

1 ੧ ਇਹ ਆਦਮ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਦਮ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ।

Thys is the boke of the generacion of man In the daye when God created man and made hym after the symilytude of god

2 ੨ ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਦਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ।

Male and female made he the and called their names man in the daye when they were created.

3 ੩ ਆਦਮ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੇਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ।

And when Adam was an hundred and thyrty yere old he begat a sonne after hys lycknesse and symilytude: and called hys name Seth.

4 ੪ ਸੇਥ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਦਮ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And the dayes of Adam after he begat Seth were eyght hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

5 ੫ ਆਦਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

and all the dayes of Adam which he lyved were. ix. hundred and. xxx. yere and then he dyed.

6 ੬ ਸੇਥ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਜੰਮਿਆ।

And Seth lyved an hundred and. v. yeres and begat Enos.

7 ੭ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸੇਥ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And after he had begot Enos he lyved. viij. hundred and. vij. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

8 ੮ ਸੇਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

And all the dayes of Seth were. ix. hundred and. xij. yere and dyed.

9 ੯ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਨੱਬੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਜੰਮਿਆ।

And Enos lyved. lxxxx. yere and begat kenan.

10 ੧੦ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਪੰਦਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And Enos after he begat kenan lyved viij. hundred and. xv. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:

11 ੧੧ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

and all the dayes of Enos were. ix hundred and. v. yere and than he dyed.

12 ੧੨ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਸੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਜੰਮਿਆ

And kenan lyued. lxx. yere and begat Mahalaliel.

13 ੧੩ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਚਾਲ੍ਹੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And kenan after he had begot Mahalaliel lyved. viij. hundred and. xl. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:

14 ੧੪ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਦਸਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

and al the dayes of kenan were. ix. hundred and. x. yere and than he dyed.

15 ੧੫ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਪੈਂਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਯਰਦ ਜੰਮਿਆ

And Mahalaliel lyued. lxv. yere and begat Iared.

16 ੧੬ ਅਤੇ ਯਰਦ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And Mahalaliel after he had begot Iared lyved. viij. hundred and. xxx. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:

17 ੧੭ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਪਚਾਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

and all the dayes of Mahalalyell were. viij. hundred nynetye and. v. yeare and than he dyed

18 ੧੮ ਯਰਦ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਾਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਨੋਕ ਜੰਮਿਆ

And Iared lyved an hundred and. lxij. yere and begat Henoch:

19 ੧੯ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੋਕ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਯਰਦ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

and Iared lyved after he begat Henoch. viij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

20 ੨੦ ਯਰਦ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਬਾਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

And all the dayes of Iared were. ix. hundred and. lxij. yere and than he dyed.

21 ੨੧ ਹਨੋਕ ਪੈਂਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਜੰਮਿਆ,

And Henoch lyved. lxv. yere ad begat Mathusala.

22 ੨੨ ਅਤੇ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਹਨੋਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਚਲਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And Henoch walked wyth god after he had begot Mathusala. iij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

23 ੨੩ ਹਨੋਕ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਪੈਂਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੀ।

And all the dayes of Henoch were. iij. hundred and. lxv. yere.

24 ੨੪ ਹਨੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾ ਲਿਆ।

and than Henoch lyved a godly lyfe and was nomore sene for God toke hym away.

25 ੨੫ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਸਤਾਸੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਮਕ ਜੰਮਿਆ,

And Mathusala lyved an hundred and lxxxvij. yere and begat Lamech:

26 ੨੬ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਮਕ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਬਿਆਸੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

and Mathusala after he had begot Lamech lyved. vij. hundred and. lxxxij. yere ad begat sonnes and doughters.

27 ੨੭ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਉਨਹੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

And all the dayes of Methusala were. ix. hundred. lxix yere and than he dyed.

28 ੨੮ ਲਾਮਕ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਿਆਸੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੰਮਿਆ

And Lamech lyved an hundred. lxxxij. yere and begat a sonne

29 ੨੯ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨੂਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਮਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਰਾਪ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

and called hym Noe sayng. This same shall comforte vs: as concernynge oure worke and sorowe of oure handes which we haue aboute the erthe that the LORde hath cursed.

30 ੩੦ ਨੂਹ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਲਾਮਕ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਪਚਾਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।

And Lamech lyved after he had begot Noe v. hundred nynetie and. v. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

31 ੩੧ ਲਾਮਕ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਸਤੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।

And all the dayes of Lamech were. vij. hundred. lxxvij. yere and than he dyed.

32 ੩੨ ਨੂਹ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਨੂਹ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਮ, ਹਾਮ ਤੇ ਯਾਫ਼ਥ ਜੰਮੇ।

And when Noe was. v. hundred yere olde he begat Sem Ham and Iaphet.
