ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਏਲ 7
And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying, “And you, son of man, Thus said Lord YHWH to the ground of Israel:
2 ੨ ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਅੰਤ ਹੈ! ਦੇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰੇ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੈ।
An end, the end has come on the four corners of the land.
3 ੩ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਾਲ-ਚੱਲਣ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ; ਫਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
Now [is] the end for you, And I have sent My anger on you, And judged you according to your ways, And set all your abominations against you.
4 ੪ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਾਲ-ਚੱਲਣ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
And My eye has no pity on you, nor do I spare, For I set your ways against you, And your abominations are in your midst, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.
Thus said Lord YHWH: Calamity, a single calamity, behold, it has come.
An end has come, the end has come, It has awoken for you, behold, it has come.
7 ੭ ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਤੇਰੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਆ ਗਈ! ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ! ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
The circlet has come to you, O inhabitant of the land! The time has come, a day of trouble [is] near, And not the shouting of mountains.
8 ੮ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਚਾਲਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
Now shortly I pour out My fury on you, And have completed My anger against you, And judged you according to your ways, And set all your abominations against you.
9 ੯ ਮੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਜਿਹਾ ਤੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ; ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
And My eye does not pity, nor do I spare, I give to you according to your ways, And your abominations are in your midst, And you have known that [it is] I, YHWH, striking.
10 ੧੦ ਵੇਖ, ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਵੇਖ! ਉਹ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਤ ਆ ਗਈ, ਸੋਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਲੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ, ਘਮੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੋਡੀਆਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Behold, the day, behold, it has come, The circlet has gone forth, The rod has blossomed, the pride has flourished.
11 ੧੧ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਪੁਣੇ ਲਈ ਸੋਟੀ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਹੁਣ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੱਥੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਬਚੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
The violence has risen to a rod of wickedness, There is none of them, nor of their multitude, Nor of their noise, nor is there wailing for them.
12 ੧੨ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ, ਦਿਨ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇ, ਨਾ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਦਾਸ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਭੀੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
The time has come, the day has arrived, The buyer does not rejoice, And the seller does not become a mourner, For wrath [is] to all its multitude.
13 ੧੩ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਸਾਰੀ ਹੀ ਭੀੜ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜਨਗੇ, ਇਸ ਪਾਪ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
For the seller does not turn to the sold thing, And yet their life [is] among the living, For the vision [is] to all its multitude, It does not turn back, And none strengthens his life by his iniquity.
14 ੧੪ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਵਜਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੁਰਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਹਿਰ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਭੀੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।
They have blown with a horn to prepare the whole, And none is going to battle, For My wrath [is] to all its multitude.
15 ੧੫ ਬਾਹਰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਰੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਕਾਲ ਤੇ ਮਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
The sword [is] outside, And the pestilence and the famine within, He who is in a field dies by sword, And he who is in a city—Famine and pestilence devour him.
16 ੧੬ ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਬਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਘੁੱਗੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੀਰਨੇ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ, ਹਰੇਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਔਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੀਰਨੇ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ।
And their fugitives have escaped away, And they have been on the mountains As doves of the valleys, All of them making a noise—each for his iniquity.
All the hands are feeble, and all knees go [as] waters.
18 ੧੮ ਉਹ ਲੱਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੱਪੜ ਕੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਅ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ; ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਗੰਜੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
And they have girded on sackcloth, And trembling has covered them, And shame [is] on all faces, And baldness on all their heads.
19 ੧੯ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੋਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਸੁਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਨਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੀ।
They cast their silver into out-places, And their gold becomes impurity. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them, In a day of the wrath of YHWH, They do not satisfy their soul, And they do not fill their bowels, For it has been the stumbling-block of their iniquity.
20 ੨੦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੈੜੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਵਸਤੂ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ।
As for the beauty of his ornament, He set it for excellence, And the images of their abominations, Their detestable things—they made in it, Therefore I have given it to them for impurity,
21 ੨੧ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਲੁੱਟ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
And I have given it into the hand of the strangers for a prey, And to the wicked of the land for a spoil, And they have defiled it.
22 ੨੨ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੇਰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਟੇਰੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
And I have turned My face from them, And they have defiled My hidden place, Indeed, destroyers have come into it, and defiled it.
Make the chain; for the land Has been full of bloody judgments, And the city has been full of violence.
24 ੨੪ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਬੁਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਬਣਨਗੇ, ਮੈਂ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਮੰਡ ਮਿਟਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
And I have brought in the wicked of the nations, And they have possessed their houses, And I have caused the excellence of the strong to cease, And those sanctifying them have been defiled.
Destruction has come, And they have sought peace, and there is none.
26 ੨੬ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਵਾਹ ਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਵਾਹ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤਦ ਉਹ ਨਬੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਭਾਲਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸਲਾਹ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।
Disaster comes on disaster, and report is on report, And they have sought a vision from a prophet, And law perishes from [the] priest, And counsel from [the] elderly,
27 ੨੭ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੋਗ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਵਿਰਾਨੀ ਪਹਿਨੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਕੰਬਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਲ ਚਲਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਤਾਵਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।
The king becomes a mourner, And a prince puts on desolation, And the hands of the people of the land are troubled, I deal with them from their own way, And I judge them with their own judgments, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
