ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਏਲ 27
The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Now, you son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
3 ੩ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਸੂਰ ਲਈ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਤੇ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਹੈਂ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਸੂਰ, ਤੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਹਾਂ,
And say unto Tyrus, O you that are situated at the entry of the sea, which are a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus says the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, you have said, I am of perfect beauty.
Your borders are in the midst of the seas, your builders have perfected your beauty.
5 ੫ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਨੀਰ ਦੀ ਚੀਲ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਫੱਟੇ ਬਣਾਏ, ਅਤੇ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਦਿਆਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮਸਤੂਲ ਬਣਾਏ।
They have made all your ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.
6 ੬ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਲੂਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਚੱਪੂ ਬਣਾਏ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਫੱਟੇ ਕਿੱਤੀਮ ਦੇ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਨੌਵਰ ਤੋਂ, ਹਾਥੀ ਦੰਦ ਜੜ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
Of the oaks of Bashan have they made your oars; the company of the Ashurites have made your benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
7 ੭ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਾਲ ਮਿਸਰੀ ਕਸੀਦੇ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨ ਕਤਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੇਰੀ ਚਾਨਣੀ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਈ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿਰਮਚੀ ਤੇ ਬੈਂਗਣੀ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਸੀ।
Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which you spread forth to be your sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered you.
The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were your seamen: your wise men, O Tyrus, that were in you, were your pilots.
9 ੯ ਗਬਾਲ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਤੇਰੇ ਛੇਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ। ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਲਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ।
The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in you your repairer of breaches: all the ships of the sea with their seamen were in you to occupy your merchandise.
10 ੧੦ ਫ਼ਾਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਲੂਦ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਟ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਢਾਲ਼ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਟੋਪ ਨੂੰ ਲਟਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in your army, your men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in you; they set forth your loveliness.
11 ੧੧ ਅਰਵਦ ਦੇ ਜੁਆਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੁਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਤੇ ਲਟਕਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
The men of Arvad with your army were upon your walls round about, and the Gammadims (mercenaries) were in your towers: they hanged their shields upon your walls round about; they have made your beauty perfect.
12 ੧੨ ਤਰਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਲੋਹਾ, ਟੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੌਦੇ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਚਦੇ ਸਨ।
Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in your fairs.
13 ੧੩ ਯਾਵਾਨ, ਤੂਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਸ਼ੇਕ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੌਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were your merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in your market.
They of the house of Togarmah traded in your fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
15 ੧੫ ਦਦਾਨੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਸਨ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਟਾਪੂ ਵਪਾਰ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਹਾਥੀ ਦੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਆਬਨੂਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
The men of Dedan were your merchants; many isles were the merchandise of your hand: they brought you for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
16 ੧੬ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰੀਗਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਪੰਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਂਗਣੀ ਰੰਗ ਤੇ ਕਸੀਦੇ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਮਹੀਨ ਕਤਾਨ, ਮੂੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of your making: they occupied in your fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
17 ੧੭ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਮਿੰਨੀਥ ਅਤੇ ਪਨਗ ਦੀ ਕਣਕ, ਸ਼ਹਿਦ, ਤੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਸਾਨ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
Judah, and the land of Israel, they were your merchants: they traded in your market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
18 ੧੮ ਦੰਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਵਾਸੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਲਬੋਨ ਦੀ ਮੈਅ ਅਤੇ ਚਿੱਟੀ ਉੱਨ ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
Damascus was your merchant in the multitude of the wares of your making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
19 ੧੯ ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਵਾਨ ਸੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਾਲ-ਮੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕਮਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਲੋਹਾ, ਤੱਜ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੌਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।
Dan also and Javan going back and forth occupied in your fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in your market.
Dedan was your merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
21 ੨੧ ਅਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਪਾਰ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੌਠੇ ਲੇਲੇ, ਛੱਤਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with you in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they your merchants.
22 ੨੨ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੌਦੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were your merchants: they occupied in your fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were your merchants.
24 ੨੪ ਇਹੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਂਗਣੀ ਤੇ ਕਸੀਦੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਡੋਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਚਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
These were your merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among your merchandise.
25 ੨੫ ਤਰਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਢੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੱਦਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
The ships of Tarshish did sing of you in your market: and you were replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the east wind has broken you in the midst of the seas.
27 ੨੭ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਨ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਪਾਰਕ-ਜਿਨਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰ, ਤੇਰੇ ਮਲਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਗੂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਸਣੇ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ।
Your riches, and your fairs, your merchandise, your seamen, and your pilots, your repairer of breaches, and the occupiers of your merchandise, and all your men of war, that are in you, and in all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of your ruin.
The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.
And all that handle the oar, the seamen, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
30 ੩੦ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਉੱਚੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੀਕਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਰੋਣਗੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਟਣਗੇ।
And shall cause their voice to be heard against you, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
31 ੩੧ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਪੜ ਪਹਿਨਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੁੜੱਤਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁੜੱਤਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਆਪਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ,
And they shall make themselves utterly bald for you, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for you with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
32 ੩੨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਪੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੈਣ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੋਣਗੇ, ਕਿ ਕੌਣ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਇਆ?
And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33 ੩੩ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਾਲ ਸਾਗਰਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤੀਆਂ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਜਿਨਸਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filled many people; you did enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.
34 ੩੪ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਡੁੰਘਿਆਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਾਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਜਿਨਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਲਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
In the time when you shall be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters your merchandise and all your company in the midst of you shall fall.
35 ੩੫ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਵੱਸੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at you, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
The merchants among the people shall hiss at you; you shall be a terror, and never shall be any more.
