ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਏਲ 10
1 ੧ ਤਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਸ ਅੰਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ, ਇੱਕ ਵਸਤੂ ਨੀਲਮ ਵਰਗੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਣਾਵਟ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੀ।
Then I looked, and lo, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubs there appeared over them as it were a sapphire-stone, in form like a throne;
2 ੨ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾ, ਜੋ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਗਿਆਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਮੁੱਠ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਿਆ।
and He spake to the man that was clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels under the cherub, and fill thy hands with coals of fire, which are between the cherubs, and scatter them over the city. And he went in before my eyes.
Now the cherubs stood upon the right side of the house when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 ੪ ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜੀ ਤੇ ਆਇਆ, ਭਵਨ ਬੱਦਲ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ।
And the glory of Jehovah was lifted up from the cherub to the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of Jehovah.
5 ੫ ਤਦ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਬਾਹਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬਚਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
And the sound of the wings of the cherubs was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God, the Almighty, when he speaketh.
6 ੬ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਲਵੇ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਹੀਏ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
And when he commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubs, he went in and stood beside the wheels.
7 ੭ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਉਸ ਅੱਗ ਵੱਲ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਜੋ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਰੱਖੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubs to the fire that was between the cherubs, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen, who took it, and went out.
And there was seen in the cherubs the form of a man's hand under their wings.
9 ੯ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਚਾਰ ਪਹੀਏ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸਨ। ਇੱਕ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਪਹੀਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸੀ।
And when I looked, behold, four wheels were by the cherubs, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like that of a chrysolite.
And as to their appearance, all four had one form, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.
11 ੧੧ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ। ਜਿਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਸੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ-ਪਿੱਛੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਤੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।
When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not about when they went; but to the place whither the head looked they followed it, they turned not about when they went.
12 ੧੨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰੀਰ, ਪਿੱਠ, ਹੱਥਾਂ, ਖੰਭਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਹੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹੀ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਚਾਰਾਂ ਪਹੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ।
And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels which they four had.
And as to these wheels, each one of them in my hearing was called Whirlwind.
14 ੧੪ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਸਨ, ਪਹਿਲਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ, ਦੂਜਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ, ਤੀਜਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਉਕਾਬ ਦਾ ਸੀ।
And every one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
And the cherubs were lifted up. They were the living creatures which I saw by the river Chebar.
16 ੧੬ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਪਹੀਏ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੰਭ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਡਣ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਹੀਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
And when the cherubs went, the wheels went with them; and when the cherubs lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels turned not away from their side.
17 ੧੭ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਡਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਸਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ।
When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these were liked up with them. For the spirit of the living creatures was in them.
Then the glory of Jehovah departed from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubs.
19 ੧੯ ਤਦ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੰਭ ਚੁੱਕੇ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਉੱਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਪਹੀਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ।
And the cherubs lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight, as they went out, and the wheels were beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the east gate of the house of Jehovah, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
20 ੨੦ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਜੰਤੂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਕਬਾਰ ਨਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਹਨ।
They were the living creatures which I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubs.
Every one had four faces, and every one four wings, and the form of a man's hand was under their wings.
22 ੨੨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਓਹੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਕਬਾਰ ਨਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੇਖੇ ਸਨ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
And as for the form of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves. They went every one straight forward.
